I decided to bring my toddlers for a last minute movie outing, which is a mission in and of itself, throw in the last minute preparations and rushing to get their much needed lemonade and snacks and we're in for a rough trip while trying to make the film before the trailers wrap. Went last night with the fam to see the new aliens movie. We paid to see first premiere before they started showing today. My husband is a huge Aliens fan and they were selling the limited edition face hugger popcorn tin and cup. I asked to purchase and the guy said they were sold out. How could they be sold out when they don't even show them online yet? Also, how could they be sold out when the movie just released last night and we saw the first showing? I am super disappointed. It just doesn't make sense to me when last night was not even packed . Every time I call this location no one ever answers the phone always have to call a different AMC just to get a message over to the manager call back. read more

Walking up to the theater was not a good vibe. The smell of trash and dirty sticky cement had me worried. They really need to clean the outside surrounding the property. The parking was horrible due to sharing a lot with costco. Especially on the weekend. But once you get inside the building, you forget about everything outside. I think it's pretty neat that they have a restaurant and food can be brought to you in your seat. Also, you can't go wrong with the recliner seating. This place is a big, just-okay. The nachos were awful. Similar to a Velveeta (oil-based) cheese: cheese never hardens, came cold, and seems to be mostly oil. Also came with sour cream, which also seemed shelf stable, and chicken, which was like a soft jerky. The chips are tortilla style, but super thin, like a Lays potato chip. I think the nachos were a total of $16 and were quite disappointing. Nachos are usually a safe bet because it's hard to fuck up ingredients blobbed all over chips; but they were on the smaller side and overall very poor quality and flavor. The beer is also significantly over priced, greater than most other similar venues. I believe my beer was $10 or $11. The seats are pretty comfy, but last time I went the guy next to me was a solid 300 pounds and I was quite uncomfortable being smashed next to him. But the seats do recline and are pleasant. The venue is also clean, and the acoustics are pretty good. So when you factor in the cost of everything: $15 ticket, $16 nachos, $10 beer it was about $40. I don't know, good to have around I guess. It's just a lot of money for a very mediocre experience. I was hopeful AMC would lean into a "gourmet experience", but you can definitely see most corners being cut with the quality of everything, relative to its cost. read more

This specific AMC has fallen from our favorite movie theater of all time to our least favorite theater. After last night's experience, we'll never return. We're done. When it opened, this theater offered amazingly high end restaurant quality food, wine and mixed drinks delivered to your seat by an actual server - often servers who also worked at actual restaurants - who would return during the show to check on you, order you new drinks, etc. It was a restaurant experience at a high end movie theater equipped with plush recliner seats. Yes, it was pricey, but was so enjoyable, who cared? Covid forced a change to the business model (burgers yes, but now fewer food offerings with low end quality), but Covid is a thing of the past, so why hasn't this place returned to it's original offerings and standards by now? My chicken salad last night was so thick with dressing, it tasted like it was scooped out from a bucket. The artisan pizza was forgettable. Fried mozzarella and onion rings were okay, but where are they ever disappointing? It didn't help that the reclining seats were broken and are not being properly maintained (this was true on our previous visit too). Our film that evening could have been the next Mission Impossible, and we would have simply wished we were watching it at another theater. Adios, AMC Fullerton. read more

Love the seats and the fact you can order from a a kiosk for food to come delivered to your seat. The food amount was huge and you can choose your fountain drink from many, many options. Came here to see a movie I was anticipating but unfortunately the hype of the movie didn't translate to my liking. Not the theaters fault of course. But that aside, the theatre was a bit of a surprise. It was my first time here and I was expecting the food and drinks to be way overpriced, to my liking they were decent- and pretty delicious. Seats reclined almost to a bed standard. I definitely would recommend this place, maybe just make sure the movie your seeing is really going to be one you love! read more

First time back at the movie theaters and this isn't my usual AMC theater(usually go to the block), but Last time there was a "situation" but I am honestly impressed with this location. It is very clean and customer service is amazing. I like that were managers easily accessible. The staff members worked together and overall seemed to be very friendly. The location is very clean and maintained guidelines with signs and constant sanitizing. The food was very good the chicken tenders were very juicy and crunchy on the outside, nachos as usual fresh chips and warmed cheese, Coca-cola self serve station, slurpee is now self-serve as well(finally), popcorn perfectly salted and fresh, condiments are available upon request(no judgment when you ask for more butter ) bar area looks to be up and running like usual. The one thing that makes it a 4-star instead of a 5-star is that in the concession stand they don't accept cash, so it sucked having to go back to the ticket stand getting a gift card to use at the concession stand but it's not there fault(Reason is they don't want to cross contaminate food and cash), it would be a little better if they would of given us a heads up when purchasing the tickets. Overall would definitely recommend and also will be coming back. read more

Saw Deadpool and Wolverine last night. The picture quality was fantastic, the sound was great though I always wear earplugs because it's so loud, and the cocktails were very tasty. Since they were out of the blue raspberry liqueur for the wolverine drink the bartender mixed up a different peach drink that was delicious. My big complaint is with the air conditioning, or lack thereof. We were in theater two, and it was at least thirty degrees hotter than the hallway. It felt like a sauna, inside temps were probably 90 or 95. They had ceiling fans going but those were woefully inadequate. Before the movie even started I asked an employee to check on the AC, and I know I wasn't the only one. The AC was not on for the entire movie, and my girlfriend said she felt like passing out a couple times. When the movie ended I was covered in sweat. It seems like this is a common complaint about this theater. I love everything else about the place, it has ample parking, good food and drinks, comfortable seats, but if I'm going to have to dress for a journey through the Darian Gap every time I go I may have to find another movie house. read more

1/11/2019 We been coming to this AMC location for about 4+ years. Since the renovations we have felt mixed reviews of the place. Whether we have issues at the box office or with the AMC staff during our brief stay here. I would give AMC 4 stars if we had consistent good service. 1. For 2yrs now our AMC account has been over charged for the AMC premier rewards and when asked for a refund we have to go through the 1800 number then back to customer service and back to the specific location. In the end we will not be renewing our premier rewards. 2. Since the renovations we have had our seats on several occasion taken by other patrons, with no sense of urgency from the staff to fixing the situation. We don't even get a we're sorry for this inconvenience with a complimentary ticket or anything. 3. When we seat on the dine in side, some servers felt asking for a cup of water meant a sample size cup of water or they don't offer water. 4. I feel that some AMC members take the time to make the experience worth coming back too. Then there are the ones who just don't honestly care. read more

First time back to this theatre and saw Puss in Boots! No one works behind the concession stands anymore. We went to the Dine-in side which has plushy leather seats. You can place your order before heading to your seats and they will deliver, order on the app for pre-order. They have everything from drinks, popcorn to appetizers and entrees. Great place to watch movies and dine at the same time. read more

Man I haven't been to a theater in MONTHS!!! Today I finally came here to watch Honest Thief at the Dine In side of the theater, the non Dine In theaters are on the other side I think. When I entered the lobby, I show my scan code of my ticket on my phone to the person at the front. I was wearing a neck gaiter as my mask, but the lady said they don't allow neck gaiter as face covering so she offered me a free mask. Which is cool. Then I went up to the bar and ordered my food and my drink, I got a beer and Loaded Bacon Tots. The girl then asked me where my seat number is so they will bring my food to me when it's done. I got there early so they brought my food before the movie starts. Which is awesome!!! I really like that they keep the 40% capacity because of COVID so it's not too crowded in the theater. There were only 2 of us in my row!! I love the tray table that we could put our food and drink on!! But the only thing that I don't like was their seat doesn't recline all the way like those regular Lazy Boy does, maybe probably they want to save some space??? But maybe the seats at the Non Dine In side are all better?? Overall, the theater is clean, parking is easy, disinfectant wipes everywhere, customer service is great, food and beer are yummy. Rented a theater for my son's 12th birthday party to see the new Black Panther...awesome experience! The kids, our families and friends all had a blast and loved having the theater to ourselves. I do wish we were granted free popcorn at the very least for the price I paid. read more

This is my first time back at an AMC since COVID. Before I start let it be known I LOVE GOVING TO THE MOVIES, I had the AMC A List prior to COVID so needless to say I went a lot I felt pretty confident entering the movies. You order at the bar (if you want anything) and they take your theatre number and seat numbers so you can get your items delivered. I was happy as my birthday was in the summer and AMC was closed so they extended my free Birthday Popcorn and Birthday Soda till the end of October! Yay free swag! That was handled nicely. Also the guy who delivered it was A ++++ he offered us a second straw and even noticed I asked for butter and asked if we wanted a box to toss the popcorn in. So friendly and anticipated my needs Which was perfect There are sanitizer stations around the theater and wipes to disinfect your seats again if you choose. I'm glad we took one cause when I lifted up the arm rest there was popcorn from previous viewing.... it made me doubt the cleaning Also passed a guy with a really looose and low mask which didn't make me feel as comfortable as I would have liked. I appreciate that there's a space between us and the people next to us though! read more

The worst AMC theater I have visited. The dine-in experience is basically a small table that you can put your snacks on top of. You have to order your food in line, go sit down, and then they bring it to you, that's if if they don't forget about you like they forgot about our order. Two times during the movie we had to go remind them and two times they forgot. Almost two hours into the movie , we finally got our order. On top of that, the tables were sticky. It was obvious that they don't clean in between screenings. At least the movie was good. read more

COCKROACHES!!! We found a LIVE roach on the armrest of our chair as we were leaving the theater (#7) last night. There is never just ONE roach either, it's always an infestation. It's the perfect set up for these pests too, dark and lots of food (left behind, dropped or swept under the seats). This theater has gone downhill.... Some of the recliners don't work. The walkway outside needs a power wash done, it's gross coming here. I liked that this AMC theater is only 5 minutes from me, but to avoid taking roaches home with me, I will go to another theater OR stream at home. read more

Finally trying out their dine in menu yesterday, while watching Uncle Drew, and the reviews are: - Dry Rub Wings, honestly I thought the amount of the chicken will not be enough for a food lover like me, but it turns out OK! The wings flavor is savory and though it's dry, but the moist is still in and it tasted great, I can taste the herbs they using! Love it! Though it's bit pricey if I may say... - Loaded Brisket Fries, served hot and better ask for more fried jalapeños, because it's good and more side dressing too, because the dressing is not much, it's too little. The fries anyway, tasted good! - Ultimate Nachos, ordered no additional on meat or any, just Nachos and it's really good! Served in a good amount and it doesn't get cold easily, crunchy all the time! read more

I have been coming to this movie theater for a decade . Great staff such helpful people. Today has been a crazy rainy day in la i had come with three babies and lost my wallet. Came back to look for it they said a movie is on and we cant let you in which is completely understandable . I said ok then atleast check and let me know someone is sitting on the handicap section or not she point blank said no. That info is in thwir sustem and it was a simple question . When asked her name she refused to give it . Her name is Kayli as per other staff members. They mentioned she is known to be rude. This is such a disappointment that a place pf entertainment according to the great amc advertisement. The staff is rude and mean . Im glad i have other options like Regal and cinemark hopefully people will be more considerate in there. read more

This location is super great, it has a lot of theaters and is recently remodeled so it's all new. There's only one downside to this location in my opinion - the dine in side. It's totally my fault not reading into it when buying the tickets, but when you get the dine-in side the seats don't go back as much and there's lights on and lap desks and whatnot. Perfect for if you want to dine-in, but annoying if you aren't!! read more

First time at a dine-in theater and I enjoyed my experience Pros: - All the theaters had reclining chairs, and it's all reserved seating, which is nice - Menu seems to have a good mix of food offerings (healthy and fatty) - Seats are comfortable with a nice table so you could eat - Staff were super cheerful and polite - Bathroom was probably the cleanest and nicest movie theater bathroom I've seen (at least compared to the Puente AMC bathroom) Cons: - Parking is strangely annoying in this lot. Since it kind of shares the lot with Costco next door, it can be hard to find a spot near the entrance - Theaters were on the small side. - The day I went the systems were down, so it took a long time for a server to come, and they had to input everything manually into the system, and then come back later to get payment, etc. Staff was polite about it but it just disrupted the movie experience - The reclining seats recline toooooo much. LOL I know, it's a silly complaint, but it's hard to see the screen with the chairs leaned back all they way. Would I come again? Yes. read more

I experienced the dine in theater in June 2022. The outside of the building definitely needs an update, but inside the theater was clean. The food was good but on the pricier side. You have to order before you go inside your theater (they don't take your order while you're sitting), then they bring your order to your seats. Water is about $5. See pic for the complete menu prices. The dine in theater seats do not recline all the way down. They only sit you straighter up so it's easier to eat, then you can recline slightly (but you're sitting upright). I ordered the bacon ranch burger with onion rings (extra $1 if you want to replace fries) and the food was greasy but good. Overall good experience that cost $80 for two adults: about $25 bucks for two tickets and food was $45. I wish the seats were able to recline back some more. read more

Was super excited to finally visit this AMC just to receive a horrible experience. Thank God the movie was great because otherwise it would have been a complete mess of an experience. I ordered food, and they forgot part of my order, after checking the receipt 3 times. Ridiculous. Then the workers proceeded to gossip loudly about me kindly asking for the o the part of my order. This is probably the loudest theatre i've ever been too, and i'm not talking about the movie audio, the crowd was louder than the movie. We bought tickets for dine-in at much inflated prices and there is NO dine in Previously you could order from your seat. Now you have to go to the lobby wait in long lines to order food and then they will deliver it. We waited 43 minutes for our food to arrive after it was ordered. Food was good but theater run down. This theater is in desperate need of a face lift. Everything from the handles on the entrance doors to the seats need love. I've been frequenting AMC Tustin since that's the one branch around here that has a consistently quiet crowd with very nice theaters. Recently i wanted to catch a movie alone and went to watch Dune. I was surprised that literally nobody except the staff wore masks and the clientele at least that night really didn't seem the type to care about their health, much less anyone else's. People talked during the entire movie to no surprise. The only thing this theater has on Tustin is that the volume is at the right level versus Tustin's which is too low. read more
