Have not been to a movie since before COVID, so I was really looking forward to seeing House of Gucci at the AMC in Pacific Place--a theater I've gone to for many years. The ticket booth employee and the two that scanned our tickets were very friendly. There were, in fact, many employees in the theater but not a lot of moviegoers. The concessions area seemed overstaffed, but was staffed with employees who were not paying any attention to what they were doing. We had to ask twice for extra cheese sauce and the person who rang us up for our order immediately forgot everything we had ordered. My friend briefly lowered her mask to take a bit of popcorn and he scolded about keeping masks on at all times due to state mandate. I looked later at the AMC website (and also the language of the state mandate) and it says to keep masks on at all times unless actively eating or drinking. That is what she was doing--eating! The AMC website states there is alcohol served inside the theater. A list of specialty cocktails is shown. Yet when we inquired about this, the 5 people behind the concessions stand all looked at each other, beguiled. Everyone turned to this one guy who was polite and said he would be happy to open up the bar for us. He then added, however, that we would not be allowed to bring any drinks into the theater with us. He explained that the reason for this was because the theater was located in a mall, so they were trying to be family friendly. It was an odd explanation for a few reasons: 1., it was 9:45pm. 2., there were only a handful of people in the theater. 3., several of the restaurants in said "family friendly" mall (which is a downtown shopping center, not exactly what I would call a mall--i.e. there is no Orange Julias) serve alcohol. It was disappointing that this was advertised but clearly not an amenity that they were prepared to offer practically. I could not even see where this "bar" was supposed to be. The popcorn was super salty--like they had not measured correctly (since they weren't paying any attention) and the cheese for the pretzel bites had been warmed up and cooled down again so often that the glue on the peel back lids had become super hard and it was almost impossible to peel the lids off. This we discovered while already in the movie and there was no way to yank the containers open without spilling hot cheese sauce all over our hands and clothing, which we both did. The movie was good. We were two of around ten people in the theater. The temperature got freezing cold about halfway through the film. When it was over, my friend went to the women's restroom. All of the stalls were out of toilet paper. HOW BUSY WERE THEY THAT THEY COULDN'T CHANGE THE TOILET PAPER ROLLS? Movie theaters have been steadily loosing money since the pandemic began and I'm really surprised how unimpressive this entire experience was. I would much rather have been comfortable at home. AMC's advertising states they want to welcome people back to the movies, but this theater far from inspires anyone to do so! read more

Well, yeah, It's a big multiplex downtown. Parking isn't fun. Programming tends to the incredibly mainstream. Picture's fine, sound is fine. Candy is not ridiculously over-stale. Concession prices are too high, but...where aren't they? Bottom line, if you want to see it, you're near here, and it's playing here, you're probably gonna see it here. You can get beers and passable food of many flavors right across the hall from this place. There's not really too awfully much else to say. read more

Movies these days are expensive. I see why the theater is a dying business. But, it is cold and rainy...so a movie sounded perfect! I decided to see the Bling Ring here! Bling cha ching indeed for the theater. After paying my 10.50 or some ridiculousness like that, I entered the theater area. This AMC is pretty large with two stories (both having snack bars....$$$). The theaters don't have those huge comfy chairs which was disappointing. The screens are actually really, really large. Now, you may be thinking, no shitakes the screens are large, it is a movie theater. But, my friends, for having smaller looking screening rooms, I didn't expect the screens to be that ginormous. Anyway, good movie, theaters these days are expensive, but once in a while it is a nice treat. read more

Awesome movie location for us who use the light rail! A hop-skip-jump away from the westlake stop off the rail and you are here! I love, love, love my recent experience here for the yelp screening movie event! Customer service was average, which is good especailly when having teens serve you! Seats are comfy, which is important when sitting on your bum for a few hours! prices for food... OUTRAGEOUS... but then we are at a movie, no? read more

This movie theater is too old. Uncomfortable seating. The whole thing needs to be overhauled. It's ok..... it just doesn't warrant driving downtown & paying for parking. Wow I have been spoiled with Cinerama! This place has gone downhill since I last came. The seats need new cushions, and we were missing an armrest. The popcorn was ok, but for $5 at Cinerama you can get a large popcorn that tastes better. The small popcorn here was $6! I know that's expected at the movies but I hadn't gone in such a long time I had sticker shock. read more

We heard that this theater had some upgrades so we went and were disappointed that the seats are not reclining or comfortable. You also are not allowed to bring any alcoholic beverages inside the theater. The variety of food on the menu was nice. Unfortunately do not think I will return here as there are better theaters nearby. read more

Came here to see the latest 2019 holiday season movie release - which was the Spiderman - Spiderverse release. Enjoyed the movie and the AMC was decent, they had plenty of concessions, screen sound was good. My only wish? That they validate the parking for movie or shopping patrons - would encourage more commerce in the long run. read more

I recently went to Pacific Place 11 to see "Love, Simon." Ticket purchases, online assists, and ease of access were all fine. Seating was comfortable and sound/volume was fine, too. This is a big place with lots of open space. I encountered no real problems, but I was struck by there not being very many staff to cover such a large place. And, though it never became a huge issue, when one theater goer was going off on another one -- literally shouting in the theater before the film started -- there were no staff around to interrupt what could have been a dangerous situation. read more

Ok, so it's not a good movie theater. You park underground, sometimes snaking 3-what feels like 20 levels below and then you ride an elevator to the top of the most boring mall downtown - so boring it's deserted, which is good in the way you'd expect (no noise, never any problem getting tickets) and really bad because that subterranean parking garage is often filled with scary meth heads and there's no foot traffic. I've been followed twice in the garage and it's just plain unsettling. I see people hiding behind cars in wait every time I walk through. Just.. bad news. Getting out of that lot is hard enough! You pay for your parking at the cash register and then you have 15 minutes to get to your car - and the place is so confusing it looks like MC Escher on an off day. There's sometimes no attendant so you really have to pay and hustle out within ten minutes or you'll get stuck behind the gate in the garage. Stuck... with the people hiding under cars. At this place, YOU are the late night horror movie. I saw Black Swan here on Christmas - that was pretty perfect. The key is low expectations; your popcorn is going to suck, ok, and your drink isn't going to have any ice. But they show movies at 8:00pm and nobody else does, so I keep coming back. Certainly a solid movie option, with easy access from the freeway into Pacific Place, with all the newish big movie theater feel in a large upscale mall. While I do like to go to the AMC Pacific Place from time to time, my big issue with this venue is that its can be expensive when you add it all together. AMC Pacific Place parking is about $10 for two hours, since its no longer "subsidized" and there is no parking validation, so parking is always extra. Movie tickets plus parking is a $20 plus purchase, before you even purchase snacks, so its a little steep. Lots of Seattle theaters have this issue of non validated parking, however since there are lots of options, I typically go with theaters with great ambiance (think Majestic Bay in Ballard) or with free parking and new, cushy stadium seating (Lincoln Square, Thorton Place.) I would love to come downtown more often, and in my past life living in San Francisco, I had the option of taking public transportation to downtown movies, making them a favored option, both in terms of being downtown and great food options nearby. Here in Seattle, where public transportation is neither easy or convenient, its the car life for me. Going downtown to see a movie has lost most of its appeal. If parking could be validated however all that resistance would surely slip away. Ah well. It is what it is. As for me, I'd pretty much rather spend my extra $10 (sheesh, sad but true) on popcorn over parking any time. read more

Well. It is super convenient if ur downtown anyway, but this metroplex is actually pretty decent. The main thing is that the sounds quality and video quality is actually pretty high. Thank goodness for digital. And the seats r comfortable. The main thing is that is that it is the perfect spot to go after a day if shopping as it is at the top of the pacific place mall so if uv already paid for parking it is a great spot. read more

I like this huge theater! I've been here several times, and each time is great. The theatres are clean, the concessions are available on the first and second floors, and the sound is fantastic. The seats are OK. The armrests don't move, and the seats are a little older. I had an excellent customer service experience here a couple months ago that I have to give the staff huge kudos for because it was awesome! I was having dinner with a friend and due to that restaurant's service being extremely slow, we were going to miss our movie since we had bought the tix in advance so we wouldn't miss it. When I walked over to the ticket office, the guy working was happy to give me tickets for the next showing without charging me again. That was really, really awesome. Parking at the mall isn't cool, as you have to pay to park, the theatre doesn't validate, and standing in the lines to pay isn't my idea of a good time. read more

Daughter and I decided to go to the movies on christmas eve and again on christmas day. Theater was open and we saw night at the museum 3 and hunger games 3. The theaters are nice size and designed nicely so not matter were you sit there is no problem seeing. The seats were really comfortable. Staff were friendly and nice. Worst seats I have ever sat in. This theater is in dire need of a renovation. While the Regal Cinemas 16 a block away has all theaters equipped with full reclining leather seats and personal tray tables at every seat for a relaxing experience, AMC 11 has 20+ year old seats that make you feel like you're watching a movie on a cement bleacher. We sat in the very last row and you could see everybody squirming in their chairs every 10 minutes trying to get comfortable. Was my 2nd time at this theater as I assumed my first theater was just a dated one... nope - all of them. Go to a different part of town or wait until the movie comes out on another platform. read more

I love the theatres with the big screens and this place fills the bill. I came here and saw 'Dark Knight". Aside from the long lines and having to pay for parking, I liked the huge screen and not having to be crammed next to someone in the theatre. Plus, we got there way earlier and were able to walk around before the movie. The place was so big and we had so much time to kill, she gave me the low down on at least three different bathrooms in the place. I came here last night to watch (500) Days of Summer with my roommates. The last time I was here was for a free screening of "I Love You Man." I like this theater a lot but the only downside is having to pay for parking in the garage. Lame. Even Lincoln Square has free parking... Anyway, the theater we were in was super huge, that was nice because there weren't that many people watching the movie. But I do remember the seats being kind of fuzzy, like the material was worn from too many people sitting on it and I felt kind of gross sitting down. I also kept fidgeting throughout the movie which kind of sucked because there wasn't enough room for me to lay out my legs or for me to lean back. I was a little uncomfortable in terms of the seating but the sound and screen were very good. read more

I'm the Duke so that should say enough. It's my second favorite theatre. Mainly because its close and convenient. I'm always watching screenings and stuff here, It's just my local theatre. My favorite is Cinerama but they always have limited runs. Its a weird place tho. Which I kinda grown accustomed too. It looks like a native American casino lodge like from a movie like that crappy Ben Affleck flick Reindeer games. But its all good, It just so easy and no hassle for me. Staff and everyone are fine. They always try to sell you on the Stubs card but I don't think I'll ever get one. read more

I'm not sure if this is just this theater or if all theaters in the area charge this much, but one evening ticket for a movie in 3D cost $15.50 - I don't remember paying this much in Manhattan... Anyway, the seats are okay. I think the back could be higher but eh, I'm usually on the edge of my seat anyway. I thought the acoustics were pretty good. If you come out of a late weekend showing you can see the lines of clubbers outside the lounge on the same floor upstairs. read more

I have been back here many times for movies and advanced screenings. For regular movie tickets, I think it is $6 before noon on a weekday. Student discounts are on Thursdays. With your movie ticket, you can also get up to 10% discount on restaurants at Pacific Place. For advanced screenings, my experience really vary. One time, I was with our yelp elite group. Right when we were about to let in, this female staff walked by us and kept asking, "what is yelp?" Then as we headed upstairs, she was clearly VERY upset and pissed off and told another staff, "Hey, you have all these people come in. They are not press!!!!! THEY ARE NOT PRESS!!!" The other time, they made sure nobody could bring in cellphones. They only had 2 staff to help with the line of over 100 people. The line moved very slowly and it was not efficient at all. I was able to have my cellphone return safely after the movie, so that was good. read more

AMC Pacific Place 11 - Maleficent. - Cinema Near Me - Seattle, Washington

I like coming here to see a movie, very centrally located to take a bus to. Its on the top floor of Pacific Place. I like the fact this place show some more of the independent movies and offers pre-screening advances. Inside is pretty clean from the bathrooms to the theatres and snack bar. Interior is pretty new looking too. Glad they have video games you can play if you get there early, but $.75 cents to $1 a game, good lawwwd!!! Stadium seating and the seats are upkept pretty well. The only con is, I wish they would have a few more people working the box office to get the line moving faster. Anyways, a nice theatre to see a movie. I recommend. Dont be the A-hole and forget to turn off your celly ringer before the movie! Happy Movie'n!!! read more

Whenever I'm in town, I go to regal but they weren't showing what I wanted to see. This one takes forever to get to on the top floor of a mall so make sure you leave extra time to get to it. First of all, I don't think I've ever been charged tax to go to the movies. As if the tix aren't pricy enough. Then getting concessions I was taxed as well. Then I had to take the elevator to my theatre because the escalator was out. I feel for a physically challenged person or a kid going there. Needless to say, I won't be back. read more

I like that this place is right on the mall, where you can wait for your movies shopping or dining. With the addition of the self-help purchasing booths and the now free membership to AMC's rewards program, this can finally compete with next block's Regal cinemas in basic services (not, however, against Regal's 4DX or super wide and comfy seats). Another point for offering an extended variety of snacks (including Nachos, yummmm) and alcoholic beverages. Also cool, that you order drinks by the cup, and you can use the Coke self-mixing machines, where you can mix drinks such as a decaf orange Coke Zero :P Definitely a good downtown location to catch most films if you don't care for extra options like 4DX or IMAX. read more

I like! This theater is located on the top floor of the Pacific Place mall. You have to pay for parking, which sucks, but at least it was only $6 after 4pm on weeknights. Very clean theater with comfortable seats. There are two stories to this theater which is really cool, and there are concession stands on both floors. They also play Asian movies here which is pleasantly surprising. $14 for an adult ticket on a Friday night. read more

This place has declined to a zero star, if I could make a zero review. The main escalator is broken, and has been broken for a long time. I bought a ice cream drumstick that was probably pre Covid. We went to see a movie here and were less than impressed. Compared to Regal, AMC has a lot of changes they need to make. The place was dirty, the concession stand staff was not very friendly to us. Also, the theater needs a major renovation to keep up with the times. The movie/picture quality wasn't all that great either. I recommend searching for other theaters, such as Regal in the area to see your movie unless this is your only option. read more

Easily accessible, but not my favorite theatre. This AMC location has not yet upgraded to the cushy recliner seats of many other locations. As such, it's quite uncomfortable to watch a three hour movie such as Avengers. The movie sound and picture quality was perfectly fine, but the bright floor emergency lighting was distracting at times of darker scenes. I'll probably try out some other area theaters before returning, but if you're around for a movie in a pinch then this place will do. read more

AMC Pacific Place 11 - Cinema Near Me - Seattle, Washington

Parking is a SCAM! Double charging everyone, so the line was very long and we were held hostage until paid "toll" or a double charge to be allowed out of the garage. Told to come back (downtown to the garage and pay another $12 WTF??) to get a refund when I called. The guy was rude and unhelpful. Pacific place parking makes it impossible to ever get a refund, after they give you the run around on the phone, claiming you have to come back to the location at specific times ( when I called but was given times that didn't even make sense). Unfortunately this AMC will be losing my business because they don't validate parking, and I'll end up cancelling my AMC A-list membership. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. read more

Surprised to find this theater lacking. From the get go the boys at the ticket box have no idea what is going on and instead of getting proper answers to questions they half ass send people to the wrong places. Second was the guy behind the register who could not seem to listen. Finally get pop corn and it tasted terrible and old. Go back to get a hot dog and fries and they are out of buns. Only saving grace was the second guy behind the register was kind and attentive. He tried to make things right. Would not be inclined to come back into this Theatre for quite awhile. I feel someone needs to train the staff better and walk thru basic pr skills. read more

I don't know why so many people hate on this theatre. Stop acting so privileged, the seats are nice and don't recline oh noooooo lol. They have cheddar popcorn mixed with hot fries?! Umm hello that's the only reason I go there and that is reason enough in my book. They also give you free refills on soda AND slushees?! In a city where it's expensive as hell to consume sugar, that's another win in my book. Theaters are super loud and they're never packed which is awesome. read more

The theatre is your standard AMC movie theatre. For me that is a good thing. I usually go to an AMC theatre when I want to see a movie. My hometown doesn't really have any movie theaters that you can get alcoholic beverages! I was excited to partake. I was under the impression that I could enjoy in the theatre while watching the movie, but this is not the case. There is a designated area to enjoy your drinks. The theatre was clean with friendly staff. You can buy your tickets online and have it scanned on your phone. This helped us skip a long line. Highly recommend. I did think that the movie screen was small and the room felt like I was very far away from the screen. The AMC theatre back home seems much larger and no matter where you sit, you feel close to the screen. Theatre was in a mall. If you arrive to your movie early, you can do some shopping. Easy for Uber/Lyft pick up. read more

I think I'm getting too old to enjoy going to the movies. I paid $13.50 a ticket for what should have been an amazing 3D movie experience. The chairs here are staggered just so, providing a great view from almost any seat in the house. Unfortunately when you go to the movies, you also run the risk of sitting by assholes, who choose to noisy rustle around with their candy wrappers for the duration of the movie. You may also sit behind some guy who answers his phone during the movie. I HATE YOU, btw. If you're reading this, you better hope I don't recognize you in the day light. For the group of 20 somethings who thought it was clever to pay for kids tickets at the machine in front- I'm on to you. Next time I see you at the theatre, I'm publicly outing you. As for UP, it was incredible. The 3D glasses made all the difference. It's a shame I can't choose my fellow movie goers. I know the theatre can't control this, but still. I spent $27! Because my guy loves going to the movies and I love my guy, I will return to this theatre. And I'm sure I'll see many more movies here. This is one of the nicer theatres downtown... and while I prefer The Big Picture, this one will have to do for those big blockbusters they just don't do at the BP. read more

3.5 Day one of the weekend SIFF viewings (thanks yelp and Michelle!) brought me here. This theater is nice. Very shiny and pretty and even "themed" like..a..hunting lodge? Cabin? Whatever, it fits in Pacific Place. Two concession stands on the different levels of the theater, although they aren't both always open. Even from the 'far front', the viewing is good. The seats are again pretty standard, too low of seat backs for me to be super comfy for the entire length of a movie. Sound adequate, although soundproofing could be improved. The "rumblings" of the movie next door came through more than once and at a higher volume than it should have, IMO. I would not go out of my way to go here, just because I dislike malls and the parking here. If, however, I was spending the day downtown shopping or felt like dinner and movie and was already in town, I wouldn't say no. read more
