I brought tickets for Munity on my Apple Pay. We got to the movies about 15 minutes before the movie is suppose to start and they were cleaning up on top. After he went to two rows, he just left. Never cleaned any other rows or chairs. I have wipes in my bag and wiped my husband and I areas down. That was something I shouldn't have to do. Then my husband thought he saw a mouse. He ignored it but then it ran out from under our seats. We got up and went straight to the manager. He wasn't surprised at all. Didn't even question it. Immediately offered up a refund but since I used Apple Pay I can only get a gift card to another AMC. Why the hell would I want to go to another one after experiencing this? That place is not old but yet they don't take care of it. You pass by the bathrooms and you can smell the dirtiness. It's gross while you carry your food to the theater. I was more shocked at how the managers didn't even flitch when we told them. Never will I go there ever again. Be aware!!!!! I had to make sure to check my purse to make sure nothing crawled in side. I wanted to update my review because the first review was based off on my first experience when the AMC Dine-in in Staten Island just opened. I've since been here several times and I can say that the place has updated their service although you still can't order alcohol beverages from your seat, there is a bar you can pick them up from before you go into your theater. The place is not as big as other dining locations but the staff are nice. I don't expect it to be top-tier clean all the time because it is in a mall, but it's not bad. For the first time I ordered food at the AMC and it was absolutely delicious. I had the Cobb salad wrap. It was very big and full and extremely filling. It had grilled chicken, bacon, eggs, tomato's, blue cheese, & ranch dressing. The tater tots were so crispy and delicious as well. $15 wasn't bad for this great meal during my movie!!! read more

They don't care about A-list members here. You will wait in line for all other people to be called without any reference to A-List. Part of the membership perks and the reason for the independent line is to be able to "skip" to the front. That's why there's an independent line. The employees either aren't being trained properly or they just don't care. And let's not forget they never ask to scan to make sure you're actually a m A list member when you are on the line. It's an unorganized free for all with a lack of concern from the employees that are there solely to carelessly get through the day. Do better AMC. PROS: The workers here are very nice and this is considered a luxury AMC. They have a full bar, they bring the food to your theatre as well, and the seats are heated. Parking is plentiful and prices are as usual CONS: This is a bad area so you're going to get people that aren't the nicest here. The theatre is messy with popcorn on the floor, so they don't really clean well. They also did not let me get my food and bring it to the theatre, they forced me to wait for them to bring it OVERALL: Not the best amc that I've been through, but it's the only one in the area read more

As much as I enjoy coming here there always seems to be some minor problem that needs to be fixed. Whether the lights are still on or like last night my recliner was just not working. Every problem I have encountered, the employees always correct and do it with a positive attitude, which is why I don't really mind, but it does seem to be an ongoing thing at this theatre. However, I think it's the nicest and cleanest theatre on the island and I love the AMC A-Lister plan so I will definitely continue to keep coming back. read more

This movie theater, right in the Staten Island mall, is a perfect spot to watch a movie before (or after) a shopping trip to the mall. It's location comes with a lot of pretty vital amenities- plenty of parking in either the mall parking lot or parking deck, public transportation to and from the mall, and if you're not into eating the dine-in food at the theater, a whole food court and set of restaurants in the mall. This location offers $6 movie tickets on Tuesday's if you sign up on the AMC website, but the movies sell out pretty quickly because of the price. The seats were the nice, comfortable kind that decline and have seat warmers, and are incredibly spacious because they don't have a ton of seats per theater. The staff was incredibly friendly, and they offered plenty of movie times so I was able to be pretty selective on which movie time I wanted to see. Right now, this is probably my favorite theater in Staten Island, and will certainly be returning in the future. read more

This was a pricey outing, for two people for movie tickets ($40) and food with a shared drink ($40) I won't be coming back often. However, the film was head and shoulders better quality than other movie theaters on the island (our film was Dolby, not imax so I can't speak for the latter). Says it's a Dine in but offers very little compared to the Alamo. Also, they charge you to have the person bring it to you. Isn't that the whole point of a Dine in? I haven't taken advantage of the dine in service but I was at the mall and decided to catch a movie. The theatre itself was really tiny but the movie playing itself was good. The tickets are slightly cheaper than the tickets at Regal Theatres so that's also a plus. What I really loved about the movie theatre though...were the seats! They freaking reclined! You press a button and the foot rest rises. Press another button and you're seat can go all the way back! So freaking cool! The seats heat up too which come in handy cause it gets really cold in the theatre. I saw a on Groupon they sell tickets to the AMC theatre on Staten Island so you could probably find cheaper tickets or deals if you're interested in savings. read more

AMC missed the mark on this one. The popcorn is really bad. Felt stale (although it was fresh) and very under-salted. You order at the stand and they deliver the food to your seat. I had a cheeseburger and the beef was thin, dry and not good, although the bun was pretty good. French fries came in a small quantity and were ok. The seats are terrible. Not very wide, pretty uncomfortable and barely recline, which defeats the whole purpose. Overall, the seats are better than seating at a regular movie theater since you're not sitting shoulder to shoulder with everyone. I visited here previously to watch movies but my most recent movie was Wakanda forever (the second movie in the black Panther series). I pre ordered my tickets online and reserved my seats. The seats were comfortable, heated and I was able to stretch out. Average pricing is around $17 for a basic movie ticket. I didn't get any food but I did get a coke ICEE that I had to fill up in my own from the machine. They have a bar and lounge area that's actually decent looking. Bathroom was clean. The first thing that stands about this theater is size. There is a lot of space and areas to hang around before your movie starts including a lounging area and bar. This AMC is a Dine-in-Delivery-to-Seat. This theater is not an AMC Dine-in-Full-Service. This means you need to wait in line at the concession stand, tell them your order and your theater & seat number and then they will deliver it to your seat. You cannot order food at your seat with a waiter. Regular concessions you bring to your seat yourself like a traditional theater. The IMAX theater does NOT have a table to put your food on, so you're eating off your lap. Also, no reclining seats in IMAX. All the other theaters, including Dolby, have reclining, heated seats with tables to eat off of. The food, though a bit pricey, was delicious! The French fries were way too salty though. This theater, as with most AMC's has the self-serve soda and icee machines. The staff is incredibly nice, helpful and friendly. I'm hoping this theater features some AMC Independent films and documentaries a few nights during week. Definitely my new go-to theater! read more

Where do I start? Seats:My friend's seat was broken, couldn't make any adjustments, as dine in theaters you can kick your legs back and just stretch out. Over heard someone had a broken heater in the seat where it can't be turned off, wondering why he was so hot for 2 and a half hours. Food: I ordered an ranch burger, my stomach hurt for the whole movie after eating it. The patty didn't even taste like meat, just dry and burnt. Soda was also very watery.... Movie: The worse of it all. I've never been to a theater this loud. I had a headache and my ears hurt just from the previews. My friend almost walked out of the movie. We went complain a few times to lower the decibel, they didn't. Since we paid $19 dollars and $20+ on food we stuck it out. I myself, my friend and a few people I saw in the front had to cover hair ears in half the movie (action movie). I took a restroom break, and heard the movie very clearly from there (about 30 feet away and). I never had such a uncomfortable time watching a movie. read more

We didn't eat so I can't speak for the food. I have been going to the dine in in Menlo for years and have noticed that it has deteriorated with time. This new theater Is so nice. It's huge and beautiful. The Seats are smaller than Menlo and don't recline all the way. So it's a bit different. That was disappointing but aside from that it was so nice. Well it felt so good being able to see a movie in the movie theater. We decided to come here early in the day to avoid too many ppl. We got the tickets online so we was directed up stairs after the young lady checked us in. Due to the pandemic you have to order your food at the snack bar and wait for it be ready and the you head to your seat. We were thrown off so all we ordered was a drink, popcorn and mozzarella sticks. I am giving it 3 stars bc the staff didn't really give clear instructions on the changes. And when we got to our seat it was a little dirty. They do provide disinfecting wipes so I able to clean me and my husband seats. My husband was happy to recline his chair and relax. So here I am excited as well and my seat doesn't work (rolls eyes) I wasn't able to change seats because there was ppl a seat over from me which I didn't care for. I feel there should be at least 2 seats in between ppl. Despite all of that the movie was amazing. I'm Hoping as time goes on they will have a better flow of things. read more
