Small theaters (frequently sell out shows if you don't buy early - oh, and AMC charges a convenience fee for this, thanks a ton, AMC!) not enough employees working concessions (like ONE kid on a moderately busy Friday night with lines backing up), popcorn is pre-portioned in buckets (wonder when it was popped?) and butter is tasteless. I love paying more for concessions than my movie tickets and having the popcorn be bland and tasteless. Doesn't everyone? ONLY good points are stadium seating and reclining seats. read more

Seriously so dissatisfied with this place! After looking forward to going on a date with my husband we sat down for our movie. The air conditioning system was running so loud you could hardly hear the movie. I came out to inform them and they said they would turn it down. Went back in missing the movie and still nothing changed. We decided to get a refund and go to a different theatre. My husband had tossed our tickets in a trash on the way in not thinking we would needs them. They refused our refund and even had us dig in the trash for them. I offered to pull up my bank statement to show the transaction and still no refund. There is NOTHING we can do. And gave us passes to come back to their crappy theater. Disappointed in their management and 1985 swamp cooler they cool the place with. read more

The place its very nice, we love the recliners... this people need a somebody to know how to "run" correctly EVERYTHING!!! concessions stands, the line for the tickets...its point less buy the tickets on line if you need to wait like everyone else to get in... I have been to this location so many times, I've lost count. This time a Sunday 9:30pm. Bought tickets with no wait. I was pleasantly surprised to see that since my last visit, a bar has been added (unfortunately it was not open) and the theatre seats have been updated to recliners. It was so nice to recline and enjoy my movie! I will continue to keep this theatre as my backup to the closer one in queen creek. read more

We came in with our soccer team on a Thursday afternoon and everyone was very accommodating. Everyone was friendly and helpful, from Kendall who originally booked the theatre for us, to the manager on site, to the ticket taker and the concessions staff who got us all snacks. Bad experience start to finish. The concession stand had one person working so even though we came early there wasn't enough time before the movie was supposed to start. Then in the theater the screen was just off, no music or anything. 25 minutes after the movie was supposed to start they come in and say the projector broke. The theater can't give us our money back because we didn't have the same credit card on us, only a gift card which doesn't include the amount we paid in fees when buying online. Then phone customer service won't give us our money back because it's past the movie start time even though the movie was cancelled. We won't go back. We'll go back to our usual theater. read more

I have always had an enjoyable experience when going here but I am sorry to say my last experience was horrible. The show was to start at 1:30 and we arrived about 20 minutes before the start time. The theater was a disgusting mess. There was soda on the seats, no not drops but a nice layer of it. One man was cleaning and I asked if he was the only one. He took a minute then replied yes. How sad for this man. I guess I expected a few more people to clean the theater. I spoke with the manager and he said that was the only person. I told him he should get in there and help clean otherwise it would not be ready for when the movie started. He did. I just feel that this theater has gone down hill. read more

Very Impressed. I got a ticket to see The House with a Clock in the Walls in the IMAX theatre. The sound was impressive and so was the picture quality but what impressed me most was that they played Micheal Jacksons Thriller Video in 3D before the movie. Very nice surprise!! read more

Let me make this simple. My wife and I went to the opening of Venom last night and the whole time we were there we only saw 2 available staff members to help out customers. One was manning the ticket booth, the other concessions. I'm not making this sh*t up. They need undercover boss or something like that cuz this movie theater gonna shut down if they're not careful. Waited outside to get our tickets that we paid for on the app when we could've got it scanned inside, but the problem was there was no sign saying we could do online purchases inside. Our seats didn't recline so we moved seats and those didn't recline either. We went to the ticket booth to see if they could do something. The teller said he could have the seats checked but we didn't want that since the movie already was starting by that time. He had them check anyways and probably disrupted the audience. We asked for money back and he suggested we go to the imax showing. Ahahaha the imax showing was more expensive and the seats don't recline. This theater has been around for a bit now. The original owner (according to others) had really let the place go. The seats were ripped, and generally a grimy place. I went today for a movie and what a surprise. AMC purchased the property and refurbished the entire inside. All recliner seats that are very comfortable. You can't go wrong here. Each individual theater is small (about 4 total rows) and you really feel like you are part of the movie. read more

We like this theater a lot. Big relaxing seats you get to pick & reserve on a screen. The snacks are of course outrageously expensive. a big pretzel and a soda, $22.00. But you know that going in. So you plan accordingly. That's all I'll say about that ;) read more

I loved when AMC took over this theatre! I have enjoyed all the upgrades but the staff has continued to be an issue here. Make sure you let them know that you are an AMC stubs member before you order tickets or food! On a recent visit I forgot to tell the cashier when ordering my tickets and was told it was too late to add my rewards. When I reminded her she neglected to remind me or ask I was told- I got tired of asking cause everyone keeps saying no. No apologies or anything just it's too late. - Why do I pay for the membership when they won't let me use it or get my points when I buy a ticket? I'm not sure that I will be renewing it in the future as they don't let me use it half the time! It's too bad they keep hiring teenagers that don't care about the customers. read more

This review deals specifically with projection issues encountered with today's 6:10 P.M. showing of "Aquaman" and not with the facility itself which was an overall pleasant experience. In short, the audio and video tracks "sputtered" (for lack of a better term) throughout the presentation which turned out to be a real mood killer in terms of our potential enjoyment of the film, hence two stars. read more

I am so happy they redid this theatre to the heated recliner chairs. I love that I can get my tickets and pick my seats online. No more waiting in line or trying to rush in to get a seat that isn't right under the screen. It is so comfortable. I love that I can get a glass of wine and my guy can grab a beer. I'm not sure how there is a review that the seats are falling apart because they are all amazing and have been for at least this entire year. Love this place! read more

If you plan on going to this theater leave 1 hour+ 30 mins+ in the front line and we reserved on line only one person working the front booth. Then 30+ mins at the concession counter again only one person working the concessions. While we are waiting in-line the movie has started. read more

It's hard to have a bad time at a theater but it is possible. We went to go see the new Deadpool but when we arrived there were zero little computers to pick up the tickets we paid for online. So we waiting in line. One person doing it all in the box office. Once we got our tickets we walked in no one tore our ticket stubs or directed us where to go. We could of got in free Damit! Okay so then we find our seat and the husband goes to get a drink. He's been gone for a really long time and just texted me that this was the worst theater he's ever been to. Only one person working concessions. Lmao #harkinswouldneverbelikethis. AMC you need to shut this place down and reopen with new management who ever is running this mess isn't doing their job. Honestly I was pretty disappointed. I typically go to the AMC on Stapley but the movie time I wanted was @ Superstition. We went early so we could sit at the bar and enjoy a cocktail. Unfortunately the bar area was closed and when asked we were told it's barely open. The seats were smaller than some other theaters and the buttons on the chairs didn't work. I think AMC has a little more work to do @ the Superstition location to get it up to par. read more

Went to see Jurassic World fallen kingdom and Food counter and drink stand was filthy!! The chasier was in a bad mood, and after purchasing my $7 drink there were no lids!! NO LIDS!! My $12 sliders were bland and I Dont know why the imax chairs don't recline. But the movie screen was great and the sound was super loud which I oddly enjoy. read more

Personally I like the theater. Yes, only the normal theaters have recliners, not the IMAX; but I rarely do IMAX anyway and the normal theaters are so pleasant. The chairs are huge, the arm rests are wide giving you lots of personal space from the person next to you. You can save your seat so there is no rush to "get a good seat". I order my tickets online all the time, and just scan when I get to there. The food is plentiful, there's all kinds of drinks. It's just a good time. read more

This has to be THE WORST experience we've had in our entire movie theater experience. It happened consistently, 4 consecutive times. From "Captain Marvel", "Avengers End Game", "John Wick" to now "Aladdin"...ALL 4 openings had some sort of delay, malfunction, technical difficulties. How things were handled for most of these issues, were ok. But it's still unacceptable that it keeps happening. We came to watch "Aladdin" tonight and all the previews up to the first 2 to 5 minutes of the main showing were completely blurry which completely ruined the entire experience. We asked to speak to the Manager on duty (Amber) about free tickets 'cause we wanted rewatch it another time since the beginning was ruined. She had no sense of urgency about our concerns, while attempting to offer us "popcorn" because she couldn't provide any other solutions after we made it very clear to her that we didn't buy those movie tickets in order to be delayed from the beginning and have an unpleasant existence. She was very dismissive and didn't show any genuine concern on trying to adequately resolve the issue. Otherwise we would've stayed home and waited until it's available for purchase. The first time experience of an opening night of ANY big showing is a big deal for people. 4 times in a row for big opening nights, is WAY too many times. And it was handled tonight especially membership reward customers is extremely poor. And rarely give a 1 star. I would give A ZERO if I could. read more

This was the first time I have been to an AMC since the early '90s. My wife and I usually go to Harkins. The front Marquee sign wasn't lit and they had one person working as a ticket taker. The price was the same as Harkins. When I walked in, the lobby was dirty. I didn't see anyone cleaning the lobby. There was popcorn everywhere and candy wrappers scattered about. We got a medium soda, when we went to get our soda, all of the machines were pretty much empty and didn't have much of a selection. Went into theater 7 and went to our seats to watch Mary Poppins Returns. The trash bins were full inside of the theater and there was trash and popcorn all over the ground and some in the seats. A little ways into the movie, I went to the restroom, as I walked out of the theater, there was trash all of the way from the door to the bathroom area in the lobby. The bathroom area has signs on top that say Men's and Women's but the doors themselves aren't marked. It is easy to mistake the cleaning closet doors for the bathroom doors. When others would walk out of the theater, you could hear them walking due to the false floor. You could tell it was wood. It disrupted the movie each time. The picture and sound wasn't bad and the seats did recline, that is all I can really say about the good things. I regret all of the times I have ever purchased a AMC gift card and have given it away as a gift for the Holidays. I will not be seeing anymore movies at any AMC theaters. I was so turned off by the theater that I almost left before the movie even started playing and would have happily eaten the cost of the movie. For AMC, First impressions are huge. People are willing to overlook certain things when it comes to hospitality and customer service. A well lit, clean theater is inviting and will help attract customers. For the front lobby, there should always be at least one usher to clean it and its respective side. All bathrooms should be checked and cleaned if necessary every 15 minutes. Soda machines should be checked and restocked every 30 minutes and there should be a team of people cleaning the respective theater after every showing. There should be a manager to oversee each area of operations and these managers should be visible by guests and easily approachable. Invite people to fill out comment cards and see what they have to say. read more
