This place is so disgusting. I am here on vacation with my husband and 5 children from Chicago. We decided to see the new Jumanji movie and this theatre was the only one around that wasn't sold out. But this place is sooooo nasty. Dirty and nasty. Popcorn and garbage everywhere, and I mean everywhere. There was one person walking around with a broom, but that's all they were doing, walking around. They weren't actually using the broom obviously. The employees at the food counter were also moving in slow motion. I mean, how long can it take to purchase a popcorn and coke? Unfortunately, a very very long time. A word of advice, don't come here unless you really want to see a movie and can't get tickets anywhere else. read more

Yeah it's in the hood but the tickets are so cheap if you purchase through the AMC app. I'm talking like $6 most days without restrictions. True the theaters are mostly dirty and the lobby is always in disarray. But the food and drink is comparable to any other AMC I've been to. Parking is never an issue. Restrooms are normally well stocked. Theaters are a bit on the chilly side but the seating arrangement works well. There are at least 30 good seats in each theater. Great movie theater. The seats are very comfortable and new. The place was also very clean. We went to a very late show for Rogue One and left the place at 3am or so. The ticket was only $6.83 for the show on a christmas night! Great way to finish off christmas and such a great movie. read more

I'd give it no stars if i could. Terrible service! To begin, my friend purchased two tickets online along with two sodas and popcorn for a 4pm showing. The charge was $42. That's ridiculous for starters. When we got to there, they couldn't find her reservation. Two teenagers that were clearly bothered that they had to do some work had no resolution. Got tired of that wait, so I went ahead and purchased two more tickets. we walked into theater 4 only to find that the movie was almost over. When we checked our tickets, she had sold us tickets for the 2pm showing. Now there's a manager involved. He apologized while acknowledging the less than stellar employees he's stuck with. Now we went to the bar to purchase one cocktail each. Had to show ID's (I'm 69 and she's 50-something), but no problem. Happy to oblidge as many places have their policies. Just over an hour later I grabbed my credit card and went to purchase two more cocktails. He asked to see my ID. THE SAME GUY!! doubtful he had many if any more customers after us, so it's not like he couldn't remember me. Told him I didn't bring it with me as he already checked it. Said sorry, it's policy. A great theater with the misfortune of being room mates with dying stores in Mall doomed to extinction. This theater services Ocoee quite adequately with an abundance of clean theaters and movie showings. I have been coming here since the mall was open and at one time a busy locale. It has ALL the trappings of a modern theater with typical theater fare. The self service kiosk is also a nice touch for those with credit cards who want to avoid the lines. If you attend movies frequently, then joining the AMC Moviewatcher club is a MUST. It awards you often with free movie passes and freebies/discounts at the concession stand. It is totally free to join and the benefits our worth it. Don't let the malls appearance discourage you. Nestled on the back side, hidden from view, this theater is clean, modern, and worth visiting. There used to be a respectable food court just outside the entrance. However, it no longer houses anything of note so eat before you arrive. I usually visit the West Orange Cinema (which serves beer/wine) but I would not avoid this theater if there was something I wanted to see. read more

I went to see Avengers: Infinity War. The service was nice. I didn't go to the concession stand to get food or candy because I was running late. The ticket price was very affordable. I don't have anything bad to say. I will definitely come back again and also recommend this place to others. read more

This is a 'no frills' and older theater. The big key is the price. CHEAP! Like $3.99 early day cheap. The food and concession is till regular price and is more than the actual movie. But do the smart thing, bring in a backpack, heck a whole pizza or chicken box. They don't care. That might be the problem. This theater is situated in a failing mall and the clientele that frequent know it and don't care. The theater itself is run down, seats are torn, floor is sticky, some of the screens are rough. The remodel on this theater was great. However, they operations team needs help. Got the the theater yesterday 15 minutes before previews. This was 2 pm. The place was extremely busy, due to new Avengers movie. Wanted to get popcorn, very long line, and only one person working the register. Couldn't believe they only had one person, when it was extremely busy. Spent 25 minutes in line to buy popcorn. They finally got another person working. When we left the line, there was at least 40 people still in line. Very poor management. read more

This was a clean theater, offering your typical AMC food fare. The theaters itself are clean and easy to get to. Sound quality and picture quality were on par and nothing unusual has ever happened in any of my visits. In the words made famous by Anrold Schwarzenneger, "I'll be back" :) read more

This is a great theater. No Dolby or Imax, but every screen has reserved leather recliners. The screens are big. I especially like the more open layout of the common area. They have self serve Coke Freestyle machines. I had no problems at all. Tickets prices here are the lowest I've seen around, which is surprising considering the seats and screens are so nice. I'm guessing it's because the mall it's located in is declining. read more

Great value for your buck! Food is overpriced but that's expected if a movie ticket costs less than 5 dollars. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Staff is courteous and have good customer service skills. I'd recommend this theater. read more

This is a nice movie theater inside of West Oaks Mall. West Oaks has a bad reputation, so I haven't been here before, but we had a good experience. The ticket prices at 1:25 were $8/each and the theater has super comfy reclining seats which I LOVE. I thought the theater itself was relatively small, which was unfortunate while picking seats because it was hard to find enough seats together. I didn't get anything at the snack bar, so I can't comment on that, but the interactions I had with the guest services staff were all good. I had bought three tickets online, but someone bailed and they were super good about refunding me the third ticket before the movie started. Also, we went to watch Detective Pikachu so I wanted the Pokémon cards. They were out, but when I asked about it, the lady took the time to go double check instead of just dismissing me, which I appreciated. The fact that it's attached to a mall food court is definitely a plus! read more

Huge theater with power recliner seats! Price for the tickets were pretty inexpensive especially for matinee show. We got their hot dog and BBQ chicken flat bread pizza which unfortunately wasn't very good. But then again, shame on me for ordering those at a movie theater. I should've known better! We were here to watch 'How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World' which means that there were kids in attendance. They did talk and make noise, but I expected that and was totally fine with it. The size of the theater made those additional noise tolerable and a non-issue. Other than the food, we had a great time here. read more

Purchased tickets in advanced for Toy Story 4 however had to cancel a week later and called for a refund. They didn't hesitate to issue me a refund however they didn't mention it would only be for a partial amount. I called back when I noticed the amount on my email confirmation and they stated it was because they don't refund for the processing fee on reserved seating. The movie still hasn't been release and they've already charged someone else the same fee for the seats I was refunded. I can't call this anything other than stealing from the public. I'm so happy they did an upgrade the whole theater. All seats are new. And carpet nice. But the problem here are always the staff seems dont know what they are doing especially the concession stands. Always ringing me up wrong price then I need to correct them. Plus I supposed to be A List and still I don't get called priority. AMC need to get their act straight. Then I check in and the ticket taker didny give me my 3D glasses after I got inside then I have to walk back. As list member sometimes I just pick the times. I used to love coming to this theater in the early 2000s. I used to take the bus up here, when I was a teenager, and I just loved it! It was never too busy, and in a mall that was enjoyable to visit. Then, over the years... this place changed. The mall went downhill, most of the stores moved out, and the clientele got worse. This place is not at all what it used to be. This has turned into an awful theater, with awful patrons. The staff are friendly and nice, but you can sense they know what an awful place this is. I feel bad, because this place was somewhere I really enjoyed coming to, and to see it go downhill just makes me sad. I have my concerns about safety, as well. (I wouldn't see a movie here at night.) The reason why Im given it 4 stars is because of their concession stand it was easily about a 20 minute wait just to get popcorn and soda but the awesome thing about it they have their own soda machines So you can pick any flavors that you want which is pretty cool and unlimited refills the pricing for tickets was pretty good as well I can definitely see myself coming here again read more

Quite possible my least favorite AMC. It's very noisy, a little old, and attached to one of the saddest malls around. I will give it one huge bonus star though for the arcade game selection. It is home to the most amazing arcade game ever. Ninja Assault. Really, it's worth going just to play this thing. read more

I'm very disappointed in the new bar. I never write reviews but being a bartender myself this was something that bothered me . First there was no bartender then about 3 people had to radio and summon a bartender , the manager also was present and tried to help but didn't even know what a two ounce pour or 1 and 1\3 was I just wanted two shots and it took 15 minutes to figure out while our movie was already playing . Just some more training for management to get people on they're way would be great so people don't waste there time on waiting for something so simple . Urgency is key. read more

I use to go to this theatre all the time as a kid! This place was amazing back in the day! But now if you go see a movie, prepare to have kids crying, teens yelling and giving you a free step by step commentary of what's going on! I saw shark night 3-D here and seriously a group of middle schoolers came in and started yelling (don't go in there! Oh snap she got ate! Stupid stay out of the water!) I reported them twice and no one did anything! I saw the new Spider-Man movie and a group of teens were kicking the back of our seat and talking on the phone. I reported them and still nothing! I saw the croods and everyone brought a crying baby! I once again went to the manager and nothing was done!!! Oh my favorite was when I went and saw the last exorcism and a group of girls had screaming fits that lasted up to 30 seconds. Plus they threw popcorn over seats and screamed warnings for the characters like (don't go in there! I wouldn't do that! Stop stop!) and what did I do? I went to the manager and still nothing! I don't see myself going here again soon. But I would like for theatre security to come and check up on the movies and see. But I have lost faith in this theatre. :( read more
