I have seen so many movies here over the years. I'm glad I can still go to my childhood movie theater.

Oh, and all it's like any experience, you would expect going to the movies. My only ongoing complaint especially with the crazy winter that we had is why are patrons walking in with blankets to watch a movie? It's because the place feels like a meat locker. I've complained multiple times about the temperature in the movie theaters yet they still don't get it so maybe this might motivate management to think about ensuring that their patrons are comfortable while they're enjoying their film. I'm giving three stars. I was here recently and I agree with many reviewers that the theatre seating is aged and there are many signs that say it's time to get the reclining seats in here. I did not have the concession food but I'm sure it's standard fare... that being expensive!!. Staff are nice and I see no real reason why not to come here. What has me sad is the current state of Neshaminy mall. I purposely walked from the Boscov department store to the AMC via the interior of the mall. What a sad state of affairs. Most of the stores are closed. Folks, give this amc some love and visit. There are only a few anchor stores in this mall. The food court only had one place to choose from. Parking near the theater was easy. We better tickets online first, so we really could walk in easily . Me went to the concession stand, got m&ms, a small popcorn and a small soda. We went to see the new Emma Stone movie , "kinds of kindness ." it really didn't seem to be what I thought it was gonna be like, but it had so many of the actors that I do like. Our seats were very comfortable and the popcorn was magnificent. We did see a bunch of previews for some very interesting movies and some of them look quite FUN! Neshaminy is an older theater that is definitely showing its age. Many areas need major updates, and some theaters don't have reclining seats. The candy counter had long waits, with high prices and surprisingly small portion sizes--don't waste your money on the chicken tenders. The employee at the counter appeared untrained and struggled to serve customers, while the manager, Tony, was unhelpful. He simply stood over the employee, yelling rather than providing guidance, letting the line build and making the situation even worse. Considering AMC is the largest theater chain, I expected much more. Between the outdated facilities, lack of cleanliness, and poor management, this location was very disappointing. Even though we live closer to this theater, we'll likely continue going to Regal instead. While their food and drinks are also expensive, the employees and managers are friendly, and everything looks new. read more

If I could give a zero stars for customer service I would. This past weekend I tried to carry in a glass of water because I'm sick and couldn't stop coughing. I understand they have a no outside food policy and threw the cup away. I proceeded to the concession stand to get a cup of ice water. All they would offer me was a one very RUDE associate that said I could have (complementary) dixie cup size of water or for me to buy a $7.29 cup of ice or $5.79 bottle of water. Sometime you have to make an exception. How hard would it have been to say "It's against our policy but we will do a one time exception" Then walk me to the soda fountain station and watch me fill it with ice water. Just pack your bottled beverages in your purse and save yourself the money and rude associates. read more

Favorite theater to go to when I want to see a movie. They always have what I want to see- the new releases etc, and the prices aren't bad. I am a member of the Stubs rewards so I get a lot of deals and there are a lot of perks to coming and seeing a movie. Staff are pretty friendly and when you are a rewards member- waiting in line at concessions isn't too long of a wait. When I came In yesterday afternoon to see Sound of Freedom with my mom- I went right to the rewards line which is separate from the other lines and was helped right before anyone else. The woman in the regular was upset but it literally is free to become a rewards member and have the same perks. read more

Nice clean movie theater concession stand was easy to maneuver and the bathrooms were very clean.

I was going to let go my feelings about how areas around the arm rest and cup holders are gross and that you advertise a free refill for your large popcorn but half way through the movie, you are not able to get it because you close everything down, essentially you are advertising something that the consumer can not redeem but with who the company is handling an item that I accidentally left there because the theater was dark and it was the last movie of the evening and impossible for me to go back right away because it would have been considered breaking and entering. Yet somehow a large wrist brace mysteriously disappeared between close when no other guests were in the theater and before the showing of the first movie. It was not an item that you could easily sweep up. The level of care this company provides in looking into something and taking responsibility of a third party cleaning company (they did not provide name) is atrocious. From the interactions and fake sympathy, it is very clear how little they care about customers and customer service. A store manager said they would reach out and call me the following day, they did not. Corporate brushed me off and I quote wrote, "I'm very sorry you lost your wrist brace during your visit. We have specific procedures in place for turning in all lost items, as well as specific procedures for holding them under lock and camera when they are found. If you feel that there was any wrong doing, you should make a police report. Please note, we will happily comply with all police investigations." That does not explain procedures of a third party cleaning company and how open these leaves the possibility for theft. Oh and lucky me, for my $200 wrist brace, they offered me a free popcorn voucher. I have zero words. The item did not get legs and walk out by itself in the middle of the night when it was closed. This is truly a horrible company that has zero oversight or ownership in companies and vendors that they use. read more

The line to get refreshments took over 15 minutes. I missed all of the previews. The problem was that it is also the line to get tickets, buy stuffed animals, and redeem vouchers. I was at a family movie, and they gave previews for multiple terrifying movies. I. Will. Never. Go. Near. A. Zoo. Again. I was at Jurassic park once and they showed TEXAS. CHAINSAW. MASSACRE. I wasn't even watching because they were so terrifying. But the sounds. Crunch. Drip. Slurp. Punch. Screams. Me and my sister are traumatized. They really need to watch the previews before they put them on the screens. I was at Avatar, Fire and Ash today. Same thing happened. I'm scared to DEATH to go back. Don't go unless you want your kids sleeping in your room for a month. They DONT make movies better. They make them SCARIER. That's not even it. They need to keep up with the trends and h get reclining seats in a LOT more theatres. They also never have my online order food ready. The theatre was also dirty. the theatre was also a trash bin. This was my go-to theater growing up. Probably spent more time here than I did reading during my adolescence years. The weekly trips to the theater and the simple rule that we absolutely must follow, "Always leave room for popcorn", gave me some joy during those years and as my dad stated gave him some escapism, he had a stressful job but this was our time. The theater has went through some positive changes including : a bar being established on the left side of the theater as you walk in called MacGruffins, they upscaled their popcorn flavors, installed an ICEE machine, and now serve hot food you can order at the concession stand. I still enjoy coming here but man o' man, they really do not need 24 theater screens now as unfortunately with the influx of changes to the movie industry aka movies being streamed online with a same day release and the like it is never busy here anymore. On a positive they have some decent food options close by if you want to have a snack at, On the Border (one of my personal favorites), or similar restaurants surrounding the mall. The AMC Neshaminy 24 multiplex is a perfectly nice place to see a movie with reclining leather chairs, digital projection and enough surround sound sonics to thoroughly impress a NASA propulsion geek. My complaint, as with all AMC's that I've visited, is with the smell. Forget the buttery aromatherapy at most theaters, theirs is an acrid wall of imitation popcorn flavoring that attaches to your clothing, nostrils and skin and won't leave until you hose yourself down at the nearest hydrant. Look, I'm no gastro tourist but let's be real, there's no butter to be had in their self-administered pump and dump flavoring - just a toxic cocktail of high fructose corn syrup, coconut oil and hydrogenated soybean oil. Whatever it does to diminish your lifespan, it will certainly put hair on your chest. You wouldn't know it from reading AMC's press releases on their nearly organic, customized popping corn that all but greenwashes the clear liquid sludge they've concocted as flavoring. Despite the fact that I haven't had movie theater popcorn in fifteen years, AMC's chemical romance fuses with you like a bloodthirsty tick just by being there. And they wonder why customers continue to stay away huddled in their man caves. Maybe they should tinker with the chemistry to give it a " new car smell" or my personal favorite, Coppertone tanning butter. Now that's REAL butter. Two partially hydrogenated stars. read more

I visited AMC Neshaminy 24 with my son because they were the only AMC Theatre showing ALL THREE John Wick movies (and they were $5|movie). I've been to this theatre before, but never reviewed it. We arrived ten minutes before the movie started. I was concerned because it was an R-rated movie and I didn't want to be turned away with my son. The young man at the register informed me that as long as I was over 21 AND my son was with me, he could view the movie. I had enough AMC Stubs rewards that I didn't spend any actual money for the tickets (which came to $30). First stop was to the concession area. This AMC DOESN'T have pretzel bites which bummed me out because that's my normal order at the movies: Pretzel Bites and a Regular-Sized drink. I opted for a hot dog and a regular-sized drink, while my son opted for Chicken Tenders and a Large drink. Due to COVID-19, they are NOT accepting cash right now! The total came to $29 because I had $10 in AMC Stubs rewards left over. The theatres themselves were clean and neat, but they could stand to be updated. The seats do not recline and were a little uncomfortable. Due to COVID-19, the theatres are not filled to capacity, everyone must practice social distancing and wear masks at all times (unless you're eating|drinking). The theatre wasn't crowded at all (I think because it was a Sunday), people respected social distancing and wore masks as they were supposed. You pretty much get what you pay for when you view movies at this theatre. I would definitely return if they were showing movies I wanted to see. read more

AMC Neshaminy is an old theater that is definitely showing it's age. I remember it being here for a long time (and I was a kid when the mall was built, I'm now in my 60's). Anyway, most of the theaters need a major update (new chairs/carpets etc. the sound has gotten better, and believe me I have complained several times about how load the sound is, especially during the previews (which are way too many) I mean i almost fell asleep on the previews, therefore making me almost miss the movie. And I know it's not only Neshaminy, but I hate that some movies are taken out too soon. And, way too expensive to the concession - honestly $10 for a kids popcorn (which includes small pack of candy, and a small cup for soda, icee. and before that I bought a pack of pb m&m's that was $7! Yeah, a dollar store right across the street and I stupidly pay that much for candy! And last, the popcorn isn't worth it. It's popped fully, but it doesn't taste fresh. Save your money and bring in your own snacks! (yeah, forget the sign saying no outside food) what can they do? read more

This is a great movie theater! I honestly don't get anyone giving it a bad review?? Prices are high at all movie theater chains, so have to expect that! Always clean & well lit, plenty of free parking, friendly employees & mgr.'s! Not sure why some write on here that they came early, then killed time in the mall, then came back still too early...& were upset had to still wait to into their specific theatre, so went back into the mall...then returned, still 25 minutes early, were let in, earlier than the 15 mins. early they were told to return at...then say they "Couldn't get snacks", as the lines them were too long!!??? You went in to the mall...twice!! To kill time!! Why not het your snacks then?? Amazing!! Anyway, yes, sometimes there are long lines, like everywhere, not always, &?Rewards members have a separate line that is much shorter! Nice, reclining seats in most, (if not all?) theaters, always something you want to see, usually more than good option, & at showtime you want, as 24 choices!! They even have a full bar inside, if you're into that), where, yes, you can sit & wait for your show to start, w/out buying drinks, if you're early!). I've even heard you can order drinks & they will be brought to your seat, (though that may have been for a special reason?) Excellent, multiple concessions options, now including many actual dinner options, not just snacks. More soft drink & iced, etc. options than you can imagine! Delicious popcorn, where you can put your own butter on, (even halfway thru it if you ask, when it's mot busy!), & now several different flavors of popcorn as well! The popcorn butter is to die for!!Really nice & always clean, updated restrooms, nicely located. My friend (a veteran) who is in a wheelchair due to ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease, came to theater with his children to see Minecraft movie - and the wheelchair elevator to get to handicapped seats was still broken (also broken in Feb). He sat in the lobby for two hours so his children could watch the movie. NO EXCUSE FOR THIS. Fix the elevator and invite him back for future complimentary movies. read more

I went on a Wednesday afternoon to the AMC at the Neshaminy Mall to watch the new Grinch movie with a few family members. This AMC is located on the other side of the mall that is close to the Boscovs and on the other side away from the food court. Towards the front of the AMC is the ticket booth. When I was there only one person working the counter. However, it wasn't really a problem because the theatre was not too crowded. The theatre also had a touchscreen ordering section. Price-wise, I thought the tickets were not too expensive as it came out to be $21 total for tickets to a regular showing. However, I found the snacks to be fairly expensive at $18 for a small popcorn, m&m's and a water. However, I did appreciate how fresh tasting the popcorn was. I was in theatre 23 and I found the theatre to be very nice. The seating was stadium seating and the seats were large, clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space and leg room as well. Also, I especially liked quality of the image and sound. Across from the concession stands is a bar, which is something I don't usually see at movie theaters. I found that to be a nice touch. Altogether, the AMC at the Neshaminy Mall is a good place to catch a movie in a nice environment. read more

The movie theater is located in the mall. You actually go in a mall entrance to get to theater. The parking lot is big. There are several places to eat in the mall. I had complimentary tickets for I Still Believe. It was about Christian rock singer Jeremy Camp and his first wife. I'm not familiar with the music but It was enjoyed it. I enjoyed the movie. Parts were sad like tear y eyes sad. Thank you Yelp! The staff at box office sent me right through. It's a large theater! A bar is located inside the front of the theater. Only one snack stand was open but it was a Tuesday and not crowded. Of course it's not a movie without theater food. The food is expensive but comparable to other theaters/stadiums. There's nothing like movie theater popcorn!! The theater was clean. The seats were comfy. The sound was good. Several bathrooms were located throughout the theater. The Dolby Cinema screen in this theater is HUGE and is an amazing place to see a brand new movie. The IMAX screen has been updated to IMAX Laser 4K and is a very good sized screen. The rest of the 22 screens have good to fair image and sound presentation. The concession prices are high but what movie theater does not have high concession prices? Overall, this is a much nicer place to catch a flick than the AMC theater at Philadelphia Mills, which is truly awful on many levels. read more

I use to love coming to this theater. Wtf happened?? The bathrooms are disgusting, half the sinks didn't even work and most of the toilets were horrible!! No one is monitoring the theater... we had a large Indian family in front of us at least 3 adults with about 10 kids and they let them run and climb on seats , talking and kept leaving and coming back! I literally told one of the kids myself to sit down! Kids shouldn't be allowed in past a certain hour... and when they are because there's parents out there that have no respect for everyone else watching the movie they need an employee to tell them to control their kids or leave!!! #Amcneshaminy do better!! read more

Lost my car key in the theatre after watching a movie. Called to ask if someone could check. They said it wasn't there and hung up. Called back they said a movie was playing and call back at 10 and hung up. Came up to the theater to see if someone would go in and look and was told the same thing. Called the cops and when they came they tried to see if they could go look. Thats when they were told they would have to flip the whole row of chairs to do so which is way more info than i was given. Waited til 10 and go look and the key is almost in the center of the chair. My popcorn from my show was still there. So no one looked no one even bothered. This is how they treat their customers. I usually don't go to this theater because AMC Woodhaven has my heart but it's the closest IMAX movie theater to me and when Aladdin is playing in IMAX 3D, you have to make sacrifices. I rushed into the mall tonight because I was running late due to the storm. I already pre-purchased my ticket since I'm an AMC Stubs A-List member -highly recommend this if you go to the movies often. The ticket attendant quickly scanned my ticket, gave me my 3D glasses, and luckily Theatre 1 was right on my left instead of down the massive hall. The IMAX theatre has comfy, leather seats that recline more than the usual theater, probably so you can immerse yourself in the IMAX experience but it was neat. I did think the sound was unusually loud, more than other theaters and movies but maybe I'm just old? Haha Just a FYI, non-IMAX/Dolby playing movies at this theater do not have the nice, leather seats and their seats are gross. I always keep AMC Neshaminy as a last resort if movies aren't playing in IMAX/Dolby. read more

Nice, clean and friendly theater. Although this theater is far from my home and work I like visiting for the space and ample parking. AMC Neshaminy 24 because it's located in the mail offers a lot. The location makes it very convenient when I want to take in a movie, lunch or dinner and some shopping. I joined AMC A- List and this makes my travel more appealing. In the lobby the have a bar that sells overpriced drinks but if you need a beer you need a beer! You can take your drinks in theater. read more

AMC Neshaminy is among the top movie theaters. They have IMAX and Dolby with recliners. Both of which really make the movie experience come to life. My favorite thing about AMC Neshaminy is the fact that they have 24 theaters, which means that have such a wide variety of movies. Special showings happen only at certain theaters around the country and here is one of the few places you can see most of them. I buy my tickets ahead of time and pick my seats out. Makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable when you don't have to wait in line. The movies are one of my favorite things to do and this place is where I spend a lot of my free time. read more

Good theater. Especially like the Dolby Atmos theater with assigned leather recliners. Amazing sound and picture quality. IMAX good as well but not crazy about 3D movies. Concessions ok. Sometimes get crowded but stubs members get a priority line. They never have the back concessions which is disappointing. Also overpriced but that's every theater. Some of the non-main theaters are smaller. It would be nicer if they put the assigned recliners in al 24 theaters. Bathrooms could use some updating read more

My go to movie theater in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. I've been coming to this place since it opened, and it is one of the biggest theaters I've ever been in. The theaters inside this place are very big. The stadium seating goes up high and the seating is very comfortable and allow you to spread out. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to watch a movie, but I just end up falling asleep because of how relaxing the chairs are. The place is relatively clean for a movie theater, and they maintain everything decently well. I've seen hundreds of movies here over the years and will keep coming back, it's always a good time here. Beyond just the theater, the location of AMC Neshaminy 24 is a major plus because it is attached to the Neshaminy Mall. Now, the Neshaminy Mall isn't the biggest or best mall in America, but it is a nice place to walk around while your waiting for your film to start, and to get a bite to eat. Also, their is a candy/convenience store right by the theater so you can buy snacks and drinks before you go in (make sure if your going to do this to hide it well, because they will catch you). The only cons about this place is that it is starting to show its age. When it first opened years back, it really was the crown jewel of theaters in its time, but now it needs a bit of updating. First off, by the concessions area, the menu boards are small and static. Unlike other theaters which have installed TVs to make that area more dynamic and change their options, AMC opts to keep the same stuff it had years ago. Another thing that needs updating is the bathrooms. While their is nothing wrong with them, they were very high tech years ago when having electronic sinks was good, but now they really need to get in some new equipment. Also, the elevator smells like popcorn grease that has been there for 15 years, please somebody clean it out! These aren't really that bad of issues, but some things that I really think could re-energize the theater. read more
