I haven't enjoyed a movie theater experience in some time, but that all changed tonight. I showed up 5 minutes after the movie was scheduled to start, opening weekend ... Part of the purchase is you get to pick your seat... The theater was completely sold out except for one seat. Unlike a traditional movie theater though, I knew exactly where I was gonna sit. Sipping on my beer while I raised the electric foot rest and sat back in my recliner, I felt like I was home... I challenge you to find a theater where you can buy the last ticket on opening weekend 5 minutes after the movie starts and still have a great experience. read more

As if the movie experience wasn't good enough, the staff was exceptional. I left my phone behind after a late showing (well after closing hours) and the guy on duty for closing met us at the door with the phone and even made sure to confirm the passcode before handing it over. AMC recently took ownership of this theater, and I went there again for the 1st time in years. This is the future of movie watching !! Every seat is a plush leather, with your own mini table, and has a power recliner that goes flat ! Each seat is numbered, so you get to pick exactly where you sit from a seating map. Absolutely love this theater and will be going there exclusively from now on. Hope they can keep it nice and clean over time. read more

I finally decided to check this place out after it was finally renovated and I gotta say, I'm impressed. The theater is now being ran under AMC and they've really improved the place. While the appearance of the theaters haven't been changed much, they are complete with incredibly comfortable reclining seats that are similar to a lazyboy! Incredibly comfortable! As far as chain theaters go, they also have a great selection of food items at the concession stands! Select seating is also nice to ensure you don't end up with crappy seats. The only negatives are that as with all AMC theaters, it's pricey. Also, it only has 9 screens and at least two are normally being used for obscure Bollywood movies. This means they normally only show larger studio films and sometimes not middle-ground films and not a whole lot of independent films either. This sucks for people like me who love indie films! All in all, it's a very nice theater that while isn't my go-to, I wouldn't hesitate ever going here either. read more

I love this movie theater! They have nice leather seats that recline and offer good food(not just popcorn and candy). Prices are the same as everywhere else. I took my daughter here to see "my little pony" and they even gave her a "my little pony" certificate to commemorate her first time at the movies. Whenever we are wanting to see a movie, we check here first to see if they have it. read more

Suuuuper comfy seats, always clean. Staff seems pretty good too! The only problem is that it's a relatively small theater so they don't always have a deep selection of shows. If you're going, log in to Fandango to choose and buy your seats before you go - there's always a line at the one box office window and by the time you've gotten there all the good seats are taken. read more

I used to visit this theater a lot about 10 years ago, it was kind of a dump but it was still better than most theaters in the area. Once they got bought by AMC, though, this is easily the best theater in the area. Reclining, reserved seating, lots of food choices, a bar, and good quality projectors (I remember audio cutting out a lot before AMC bought them). AMC is awesome, I actually prefer this theater over imax because of the seats and reserved seating. read more

I used to love this place I went there probably on the average of 1 to 2 times a week! they have a manager now who looks like he's about 17 years old a little blonde guy with boils all over him and I say this because I found it to be somewhat alarming! it did not look like acne to me it looked like something else but the worst thing was I got a large popcorn and while I'm used to devouring the whole bag I got about halfway through and bit into something that was very bitter much like as if you bit into a pill! I got an aspirin taste in my mouth till the end of the movie! I took the bag of popcorn to the concession counter and told the girl and she said that it was probably just a piece of burnt popcorn I said no I know the difference between a piece of burnt popcorn and whatever it was I bit into! so I left the remainder of the popcorn with her and told her to go through the bag to see if she could find anything odd and it's driving then went to the service desk and asked the manager for my money back on the popcorn he ask for a receipt and I said I didn't get one because I typically don't need one you can look it up with my number and he said well I can't give your money back without a receipt! and they could've looked it up he said we don't have pills in our popcorn and I said I understand that but whatever it was it tasted like it! Many times I have gotten stale popcorn and under cooked pizza and I have never once asked for my money back so it's not like I just wanted the money! I will never step foot back into that theater again as I don't know what's going on with the place but it's not like it used to be!! instead I go to the regal at Dulles town center even though I have to drive six extra miles to get there! the people there are super nice chairs are very comfortable and I have yet to get any concessions there that was bad!!! My home theater wasn't playing Parasite, so my dad and I drove 45 minutes to watch here because they have a wider movie selection. I said, "Wow, reclining seats... much nicer than ours." As my dad got up and went to the bathroom, I sat relaxing in my very cushioned chair, scrolling through Instagram. Out of the corner of my eye, I thought I saw something move, so naturally I look over... and there on the seat next to me, scurrying along his way... was A MOUSE. So of course, I jumped up, my heart pounding, my hand on my chest, staring at the fiend. I scurried out of there as fast as the mouse scurried into the crack of the leather. My dad returned to my dismayed and frantic "THERE WAS A MOUSE" complaints. We told the employee at guest services who said they'd "tell a manager." The manager nor any employees did anything about it or even came into the theater to check it out, so I spent the entire showing (in a different seat) stressing about a mouse crawling across me (he didn't.) read more

We used to come here only on Tuesdays for $6 movies. There were too many other nicer choices for regular days. I've been spoiled by Alamo's reserved seating, comfy seats, and the Cobb Leesburg dBOX motion seats so I hadn't been to this one in awhile since they stopped doing $6 movies. The new Worldgate is definitely worth the little bit of a higher price now. I probably will never go back to a regular theater between Worldgate, Alamo, and dBOX at Cobb! The new seating here is amazing, I loved the ability to literally lay all the way down and recline in the huge comfy seats. The tray is also helpful if you are going to be eating there. Everything in here is an upgrade after an old theater with poor screens and sound. Can't wait to go back! read more

Wow! I accidentally picked the wrong theater for my movie so of course my ticket didn't work. I used Fandango, not AMC. The manager, Alina, was so nice and just gave me a ticket. She could have given me the AMC corporate number to try and get a refund which would have meant I had to pay for another ticket. Alina knows what customer service is all about, rare these days. Just coming out of watching Despacable Me 3 from auditorium 4 on this day 7/8/17. Screen resolution was SO BAD . There were lot if white dots on the screen. It was like watching in a old plasma TV . The seats are awesome. The ability to choose ahead of time is even better. Last night, concessions was a joke. I spent 22 minutes in line with less than six groups ahead of me. When I ordered my complex popcorn and soda, I was informed they were out of popcorn. They don't even pour soda any more.... You had or job! The people ahead of me ordered a hot dog and a soda, only to be told they had to wait 20 minutes for it to cook. See a pattern? So, if the seats are worth it, give yourself so extra time at concessions. read more

I have not been to this theater in a few years and I was surprised by the $16.00 entrance fee. I had to purchase my ticket on a ticket kiosk and we though we ordered tickets in the back only to find out that we were 2 rows back from the front. Lastly, there was a lot of talking during the whole movie and no one from the theater staff monitored the theater. They wanted to know why I did not bring it to their attention. When I am spending this kind of money I expect the staff to monitor the theater and not expect me to do their job. Their lack of attention ruined our movie experience tonight. read more

Would give this 5 stars except the fact they're renovating the shopping center. Halfway through the movie last night there was extremely loud jack hammering. When pay parking started at Reston Town Center I decided to give this theater chain a try and now after 3 films I'm wondering if I need to move on again. Free parking and leather recliner seats are nice and deserve 4 stars but each time that I have gone to the theater to purchase my reserved seat tickets a week in advance, a staff member can's seem to find a way to do the transaction or the system does not provide an easy way to do the transaction. That and the amusement that the staff members seem to be having just seeing someone asking for something. They seem to lack any genuine enthusiasm for helping the public or doing their jobs well. There are better theaters. read more
