This review is strictly for the establishments poor customer service and how unfairly we were treated... Tonight, went to The Famous Bar in Glendale for some drinks, dancing and fun. Neon Slice had a mobile pizza cart set up selling single slices. We got a bit hungry and wanted to support a small business vs grabbing food from a local "corporate" food joint. My BF ordered us 2 slices of pizza. We had already paid when got asked by another of our party for a third slice. Not a problem.. When my BF asked the server/owner to please heat up a 3rd slice while we waited to pay, he was told he needed to wait because he already got 2 slices and there were a few other people in line he wanted "everyone to get a slice and taste their pizza". My BF agreed and waited... however, the employee taking orders had a customer who had then ordered 5 slices and was not told the same.. she was not cut off at the 2 slice limit like he was nor did she have to wait to order anymore slices. All five of her slices involved pepperoni which is what he was waiting for. The employee taking payments had charged my BF already for the extra slice when the owner told her they over sold and were out. Moral of the story, management does not know how to properly serve customers and makes rules and caps for some people but not others. Thus leaving us shorthanded of the extra slice we paid for while another customer got 5. We asked for a refund and the owner/brother acted surprised as if they did not handle their customer service properly. Disappointing to say the least, and because of their poor customer service, we will not be returning to their store front nor ever buying from them in any form. DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

Top notch pizza pie spot in the Valley on the borders of Burbank and Glendale. We had the honey burrata 16in pie and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the ingredients. It was a mix of sweet and spicy and the crust was dynomite!! Def will be back but be aware they are part of a larger kitchen filled with bakers and others so we had to go to the back alley to pick up. There was no sign but they were very gracious and brought us the order to our car. Super nice! Plus we got a free cookie and pizza charm!! Thank you!! read more

I've been wanting to try this spot for so long, and I'm so glad I finally did! The pizzas are incredible -- flavorful, perfectly balanced, and made with so much care. The team (a very sweet young couple -- I think!) couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating. I called about 30-40 minutes before closing, and they assured me it was no problem at all. They even made an exception and let me do a half-and-half pie with their mushroom and pesto vodka flavors. Then, of course, I remembered the cookies and called back to add those too -- every time, they were so kind and patient. On our drive over, we hit unexpected traffic from an accident and ended up arriving 20 minutes after closing. I called again (third time!) to apologize, and once again, they were incredibly understanding. When we arrived, they brought out our order, told us not to worry because they'd kept our pizza warm, and even came to say hi to our pup in the car -- such a sweet touch that honestly made our night. Now, onto the food: the pizza was legit amazing! The crust has real flavor and a perfect texture -- sturdy enough to hold up but never dry or bland. They even include a round cardboard insert in the box to keep it from getting soggy -- small details like that really show how much pride they take in their food. And the cookies... oh my god. We warmed them up at home, and they had that perfect crisp outside with flaky seat salt and a gooey, rich center -- just heavenly. My only tiny complaint is that they contain cornstarch (I'm allergic), but honestly, that didn't stop me. Totally worth it. I didn't take a picture because I was too excited. From the food to the thoughtful service and those little details (like the cute pizza charm on top of the box!), this place truly stands out. While I was waiting for my pizza, the guy who took my order was incredibly friendly and even gave me a drink while I waited. That level of customer service is rare these days. Food & Price - 1.5 Stars... $90 for 3 pizza's cool now i am prepared to taste a top nudge pizza who competes with those who are able to charge these prices. Honestly it is not worth it, we were 5 folks and we all without exceptions hated the pizza; the cheese was terrible, the flavor combo was bad, crust was mehh.. it was so bad that we did not want to keep it for second day leftover. the margarita was dripping in sauce, i mean you pickup a slice you tilt it and you get dripping sauce. the honey pepperoni was terrible too the flav. combo was with that melted "cheese" was just not it, felt heavy and creamy but missed the pizza flav. I see many have added 5 stars for the pizza flavors, honestly i am shocked, i get friends and family usually help out with initial reviews and 5 stars, but please listen to me, you need an overhaul quickly before more low reviews pile up. Also - do not charge $90 (tax incl.) for 3 pies, that price point is not for dominos nor Neon. I wish the owner the very best, i hope they improve and succeed, but as it stands its a no go. read more

No doubt in my mind, this is justifiably 5 stars. No question about it. Here is why. You truly get an amazing quality of pizza for the price. I have been wanting to give them a try for a very long time and it was absolutely worth it. I ordered the Sweet Heat (w/ pineapple) and boy, oh boy. Let me start off by saying that the ratio of toppings on the pizza were perfectly balanced. Most pizza places half ass it when they add toppings and each slice was filled with the right amount of toppings. Brownie points for me there. But the star was the Fibonacci Pesto. BRAVO!! This is one of the most solid slices of pizza on the west coast we have ever laid our lips upon. Thin crust. Not crispy or wispy, and foldable like a NYC slice. The slices are NY style in that they are on the bigger side, but with no flop on the undercarriage. So so delicious. I hope they can open more nights because there are some Wednesday's when we really want pizza haha. Ordering online is super easy and the pickup spot is really novel too. Neon operates out of a shared kitchen, co-op type space so there's 20ish other restaurants cooking there. Park around the back and walk into the pickup area. They bring the pizza out right on time. Because of the quality I feel really good even after having a lot, since it's huge it's a great value! They are operating out of a shared commercial "ghost" kitchen space, producing LEGIT Brooklyn style pizza. We ordered the Fibonacci adding pepperoni. It was sensational! The tomato sauce is bright and zesty, with high quality toppings, and a crust that is perfection.
