This review is strictly for the establishments poor customer service and how unfairly we were treated... Tonight, went to The Famous Bar in Glendale for some drinks, dancing and fun. Neon Slice had a mobile pizza cart set up selling single slices. We got a bit hungry and wanted to support a small business vs grabbing food from a local "corporate" food joint. My BF ordered us 2 slices of pizza. We had already paid when got asked by another of our party for a third slice. Not a problem.. When my BF asked the server/owner to please heat up a 3rd slice while we waited to pay, he was told he needed to wait because he already got 2 slices and there were a few other people in line he wanted "everyone to get a slice and taste their pizza". My BF agreed and waited... however, the employee taking orders had a customer who had then ordered 5 slices and was not told the same.. she was not cut off at the 2 slice limit like he was nor did she have to wait to order anymore slices. All five of her slices involved pepperoni which is what he was waiting for. The employee taking payments had charged my BF already for the extra slice when the owner told her they over sold and were out. Moral of the story, management does not know how to properly serve customers and makes rules and caps for some people but not others. Thus leaving us shorthanded of the extra slice we paid for while another customer got 5. We asked for a refund and the owner/brother acted surprised as if they did not handle their customer service properly. Disappointing to say the least, and because of their poor customer service, we will not be returning to their store front nor ever buying from them in any form. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Top notch pizza pie spot in the Valley on the borders of Burbank and Glendale. We had the honey burrata 16in pie and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the ingredients. It was a mix of sweet and spicy and the crust was dynomite!! Def will be back but be aware they are part of a larger kitchen filled with bakers and others so we had to go to the back alley to pick up. There was no sign but they were very gracious and brought us the order to our car. Super nice! Plus we got a free cookie and pizza charm!! Thank you!!

The top of the box with the cute little charm!

I've been wanting to try this spot for so long, and I'm so glad I finally did! The pizzas are incredible -- flavorful, perfectly balanced, and made with so much care. The team (a very sweet young couple -- I think!) couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating. I called about 30-40 minutes before closing, and they assured me it was no problem at all. They even made an exception and let me do a half-and-half pie with their mushroom and pesto vodka flavors. Then, of course, I remembered the cookies and called back to add those too -- every time, they were so kind and patient. On our drive over, we hit unexpected traffic from an accident and ended up arriving 20 minutes after closing. I called again (third time!) to apologize, and once again, they were incredibly understanding. When we arrived, they brought out our order, told us not to worry because they'd kept our pizza warm, and even came to say hi to our pup in the car -- such a sweet touch that honestly made our night. Now, onto the food: the pizza was legit amazing! The crust has real flavor and a perfect texture -- sturdy enough to hold up but never dry or bland. They even include a round cardboard insert in the box to keep it from getting soggy -- small details like that really show how much pride they take in their food. And the cookies... oh my god. We warmed them up at home, and they had that perfect crisp outside with flaky seat salt and a gooey, rich center -- just heavenly. My only tiny complaint is that they contain cornstarch (I'm allergic), but honestly, that didn't stop me. Totally worth it. I didn't take a picture because I was too excited. From the food to the thoughtful service and those little details (like the cute pizza charm on top of the box!), this place truly stands out. You can tell it's run by people who care deeply about what they do. I'll absolutely be back -- counting down the days until my next order!

    Comes with a little charm!

Really great delivery pie. I got their Detroit style which is really on point. Next on my agenda is to try the Margherita--but those round pies are huge. I'll need backup.

I recently went in and ordered a Philly cheesesteak over the counter. I waited patiently, tipped well, and about 20 minutes later an employee looked me directly in the eye, handed me a sandwich, and told me my order was ready. I got home, opened the sandwich, and found a turkey sandwich. Completely different order. I immediately called the store and explained what happened. Instead of an apology, I was told I needed to bring the sandwich back and that the entire sandwich needed to be there. Of course the entire sandwich was there. I hadn't touched it. I was also told they would start making my correct sandwich while I drove back. When I returned, the person I spoke with, who appeared to be a supervisor, manager, or owner, told me, "You must have taken the wrong sandwich." No. Your employee handed me the wrong sandwich and told me it was mine. When I explained that, the response was essentially, "Well, I was on break, so I don't know." That attitude bothered me far more than the original mistake. Mistakes happen. Handing someone the wrong sandwich is an easy mistake to forgive. What isn't so easy to overlook is treating the customer as though the mistake was somehow their fault, requiring them to drive all the way back, and showing virtually no apology or concern for wasting their time. Then came the replacement sandwich. The original cheesesteak I watched them prepare went through the pizza oven. The replacement did not. They also used American cheese instead of the cheese I ordered, and the sandwich was noticeably underbuilt, with very little meat, as shown in my photo. After the interaction I had just experienced, it was difficult not to view the replacement as passive-aggressive. What should have been simple was, "We're sorry. We handed you the wrong sandwich. We'll make this right." Instead, I felt accused, inconvenienced, and then handed a lesser sandwich as though they were doing me a favor. I've been coming here since the previous owners, going back to the late 1980s. Unfortunately, this also isn't the first time recently that I've received substandard service or a substandard product. At some point you have to stop judging a place by what it used to be and judge it by what it is today. For me, this experience did exactly that. I'd keep the photo of the underbuilt cheesesteak attached. It supports the part of the review people might otherwise dismiss as subjective.

Hello Pizza brings Korean-inspired pizza to the neighborhood. Love the unique flavors (bulgogi,…read moreBuldak, potato) and pizza styles (ie. sweet potato mousse gold crust) they serve up here. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because I wasn't really a fan of their pizza dough, which to me, has a consistency of thin, dried, stale bread - that's just my personal opinion though. It didn't seem to bother anyone else in my party. I guess could round up to 4.5 stars 1. Bulgogi Gold Pizza (4.5/5) The bulgogi was marinated well and were evenly spread throughout each pizza slice. The base of this pizza is tomato sauce and it is topped off with onion, bell pepper and cheddar cheese. The gold crust of course if a layer of crispy melted cheese. The inside of the crust contains sweet potato mousse, which adds a slight sweetness to the palate. The combination works well. 2. Buldak Pizza (2/5) This is the newest item on their menu, so we had to try it. Love the concept of the flavor, but it just wasn't our favorite because it was too sweet. The bulk sauce is a Korean sweet and spicy sauce that kind of resembles BBQ sauce. We felt that the sweetness of the sauce overpowered everything, including the spicy part. The chicken was also too dry. I did like the stuffed cheese crust though as it had a decently cheesiness to it. It was good to try, but we will skip it next time. 3. Bulgogi Taco Pizza (5/5) What is there not to like about bulgogi and taco, let alone, in pizza form? The toppings are Korean marinated BBQ beef, chopped red onions, cilantro, and hot taco sauce. It was pleasantly savory and packed with flavor that's truly reminiscent of street tacos. 4. Potato Gold Pizza (5/5) If you are hungry and looking for a carb-heavy, yet satisfying bite, this is the pizza to get. It has tomato sauce base, topped with cheddar cheese, ground beef, strips of bacon, corn, onion, mushroom, sour cream and a slice of potato wedge on each slice of pizza. Of course, the crust contains the sweet potato mousse. The bacon and seasoned potato wedges really adds savoriness to this pizza. The corn and sweet potato mousse crust adds a tinge of sweetness. The combination of all the ingredients made our taste buds dance with happiness. Overall, I recommend Hello pizza to anyone who is wanting to venture to try new pizza flavors. It's a palate experience to remember!!!

Thanks Eddie for your service and help. During my order, I found out that their pizzas have a base cost which was about $19+. Depending on what flavors you want, they will charge $6.00 for each flavor you build your own. I wanted half Hawaiian and half Vegetarian. Custom Medium would have cost me $31+ rather than $23+ for Medium Hawaiian Style only. I ended up with the latter and also got a regular Vodka Sauce Pasta. Total bill came to $38 including tax + tip. I enjoyed the pizza very much. Crust was thin. Sauce was tasty. Plenty of ingredients on pizza. Square cuts versus slice cuts. As for the Vodka Sauce Pasta, it didn't taste the same as before. This time it tasted bland as if it had plain marinara sauce only. Slightly disppointed about that, hence, 4 stars! I don't know when I'll be back to La Canada Flintridge as I'm usually not in the area frequently. When I do visit again, I'll have to try their other pizza flavors and pasta plus chicken wings.
