I think I was trying to find aisle 60-something, walked all the way to the other side and then only realized... There's lots of workers NPC-ing in various aisles, info desks, etc. here so I can always at least have someone to answer my basic questions. I've gone here to get timed power strips, basking slates, etc for reptiles, and a reacher gripper for my destroyed back. Love the holiday decor that they have in the front and it's a clean store. When I say full I'm talking OVERFLOWING of the carts. As a plant lover it's so sad to see. I went to try to save a few as well as purchase a kiddie pool and they refused to let me save some plants from getting tossed out. You'd think it'd better to mark them down to 90% and make some money for the vendor but they'd rather throw out $1000s of dollars. 95% of these plants just needed to be watered but they'd rather just take them to the trash. Today I drove here from Rancho Cucamonga in search of torque screws for a shed of mine. When my number came up, the tall guy with pimples and a goatee came over to me and just looked at me...no "hello" or "can I help you." I showed him the bolt I needed and even brought him a torque or star bit I preferred the bolts have the fitting for; I asked for six such bolt replacements. All while I was explaining what I needed, he was holding a conversation with someone else behind the counter. He returned from the back with one bolt a different length, a phillips head instead of a torque head, and no attention was given to my request that it be a flathead bolt. Generally, he treated me like crap. Maybe I am the wrong color or ethnicity for this place. He clearly showed me that he didn't give a damn about me as customer. I have several friends who frequent this place. I will be relating this experience to them; King Bolt might want to consider that those working at their counter represent them and the great quality of service they've been respected for over the years. One jerk really can negatively impact their hard-earned positive reputation.
