    Horrible experience at the Home Depot located in the city of Baldwin Park. We were in there for 15 minutes when loss prevention was right on our tail nonstop did not make us feel very comfortable shopping. Is a discrimination homophobia I really wish I knew but I do not recommend this Home Depot in the city of Bowen Park. Spend your money somewhere else people but not at this place.

    Saturday 9/24 morning visit, Amy at register was extremely nice and patient with our purchase. I didn't get the guys name, but he helped us on aisle 16 with our plumbing needs. He was knowledgeable, quick and was such a pleasure. He was able to locate additional material we needed and brought it down for us. If you have their credit card, they often send coupons for 10% off or no interest for a few months making it easier to pay on big projects.

    For day me review will only be a three star and only because the guys out in the tree lot were very helpful and friendly so the service gets a 5 star ! But Home Depot itself gets a two star because in order to buy a Christmas tree from them you HAVE to pay with a credit card! You can't use cash, your debit card or even a Home Depot card! Wow! Good thing we had a company credit card with us! They did have it decorated very nice and super clean with music and a movie on the projector playing for the kids.

    Service was horrible they couldn't get any one to help us to load a Tool box. The manager was a female and kept telling us that without getting measurements to see if it would fit she couldn't send no one to help. She told us that her employee was at lunch while we were there for about 45-50 minutes While her other workers were just standing around a forklift talking. This is the last time I shop here.

Best part of story is mattress delivered in third week by very courteous gentleman who set up new mattress and hauled away old mattress. From my personal experience, go elsewhere for a mattress. At least for freestanding gas stoves. We picked out a fridge. Did some research on it. Good deal. Half off. Great! Now for the oven.. again DO YOUR RESEARCH and go with your gut! Once you pay with them, your money is gone forever. They had two identical gas stoves with a model number that did not match up with the actual unit itself. It said it was a $3800 oven with wifi, dual fuel, etc. for $1600 and all these specs that didn't come close to describing it. Online was describing one thing but the unit itself was another. Yes it's my fault for even going ahead with the purchase and I couldn't even tell why I didn't shut down the deal. Sheer desperation? I really needed a stove right in that moment I guess. Let me repeat. Do your research and say something. If I could ever feel so bad about a purchase, it's this stove. Paid over $1600 for a convection oven, no wifi, no bells a whistles. Just a plain old gas stove made in 2019. Plus, it did not come with the griddle so there's another $80 and the small simmer burner cap is for a different stove so it doesn't light most of the time so there's another $20 if I can find the right one. Look up what $1600 gets you in the gas oven world. Bitchin' ovens with air fryer and some with sous vide. As someone who enjoys cooking, yea this hurts and in a bad economy every dollar counts. Oh well. But don't trust this company to be totally accurate. Stuff happens. Would I buy from them again? 100% I would! The service was fabulous! No complaints about it.

I found the item wanted online with American Freight- West Covena, CA location. The website is easy to navigate and place your order. As with all American Freight locations be sure to research what you want and what damage or cosmetic issues the appliances may have. While reaching someone by phone is difficult - The staff at the West Covena location are very friendly and helpful. Daniel in the loading dock area was especially helpful! Definitely recommend this location!

"If you really do the most for your customers and "deserve a medal" you would have ordered the damaged part. But you didn't. The first thing you did was informed me we would have to pay for it. So yes you deserve 1 single star. I'd put 0 if I could!!!

    We were having a few issues with our Kitchen Aid refrigerator. The freezer would accumulate frost…read morebuildup and water would leak out onto the kitchen floor. We called Covina Appliance as they were fairly local and had good Yelp reviews. We scheduled an appointment and they came out to inspect. They diagnosed the problem as a clogged drain, but they also recommended changing the drawer slides to allow for better closure. We agreed and waited several weeks for the parts to come in. Once the parts came in, the technician came out to replace the slides and clear the drain. He confirmed that the work would now resolve the issues we were experiencing. Within a few weeks, we noticed that ice was continuing to accumulate in the freezer. Given that we were out of town during the holidays, we figured we'd deal with it afterwards. We called the office and had the office staff look up the work order. They confirmed that frost buildup was part of the original request that was addressed. When we explained that the problem was not satisfactorily addressed, we were told that the labor warranty was only good for 30 days, and we were 5 days late! Unbelievable! The only offer we received was a waiver of the service triage fee, but would still be liable for the frost repair, which had already been quoted and paid for during the previous visit. Why would I even consider paying for them to come inspect it again in the first place? Not much of an offer. No thanks. Bottom line, they upsold us on drawer slides we really didn't need, but failed to resolve the actual problem. I would have expected some consideration given that we've done business with Covina Appliance a few times this past year. But given this latest encounter, I am forced to take my business elsewhere.
