Their selection of flower bouquets are amazing! And the prices are so affordable! Walmart had some horrible choices and their flowers were half dead. I was looking to buy some for a friend and was about to give up, but my boyfriend insisted we stop by Home Depot. I didn't want to go at first because I've never seen flowers there but I thought well what the heck... There isn't any other place I can think of. Upon walking in, there were so many great choices! All healthy looking. I was very surprised. Worst customer service ever! The night manger Renee wouldn't even come out to speak to me after he told me some customer service number to call and once I called the representative on the phone told me the store was responsible for the issue, I went back inside the store and Renee told his workers he wasn't dealing with me or coming back out to speak to me, I asked for a store credit and the guys working at the return said that only Renee could make that call. I want to say this Home Depot in Baldwin Park opened up a little over 20 years ago. When we bought our home in West Covina, they didn't have a Home Depot back then. We were so excited and here daily. It was conveniently close to our home, and so great especially when remolding. They have everything and anything for inside and outside of your home. In the beginning, everything was great. Most of their employees were knowledgeable and helpful. If they didn't know the product (location or about it) they would ask another employee or look it up on the computer to help you to the fullest. Today, they hired a bunch of kinds that are ignorant and rude. You ask then a question they just stare at you confused and say "we don't carry that item anymore." when you walk over a little more and find it right there! So disappointing they let go of all the good ones. It would be great if they can actually train these guys more thoroughly. read more

The cashier at this Home Depot charged money randomly. A female manager named Inez locked the door and detained a Chinese elderly man and two children for an hour, demanding $200. She threatened that if the elderly man didn't pay, she would call the police and restrict his personal freedom. The next day, the Chinese family went to Home Depot, but the manager of another shift refused to provide video evidence and only returned the $200 to the elderly man. The manager named Inez refused to apologize. This is serious racial discrimination and has caused serious negative psychological effects on the elderly and children. Though they have improved this part a lot, there are still times that you can't find anybody within that dept., and if you do, it's not their dept, and they will call somebody for you.
