    My mother & I flew American to visit my sister. We were delayed flying out to Omaha for ELEVEN hours. Lost an entire day of our trip. Upon arrival, my mother's suitcase was beat all to hell & has to be replaced before we can fly back. My new bag was ripped, and the handle is coming off. We tried to change our flight back for a later time to spend more time with family and got told it would be another $200 per person to change those. My mother refused and asked for a full refund, and she was hung up on. The person's name is Sylvester. She called back to try the process again and was given the "correct" number to call to fix the problem. The number she was given was to United Airlines customer service. Beyond the worst customer service and staff experience. I would not post a single star, but it won't allow me to post without one.

    My biggest concern with this airline is their nut allergy policy. The photo below is their policy and as you can see they just encourage passengers to take the necessary medicine. Which in my case there is nothing i can take prior to boarding a plane for my allergy. I have only flew with them three/four times but if possible I choose Delta or Southwest. Those two companies make my flights "nut free zones" and broadcast to the plane that a passenger has a peanut/nut allergy. When flying I would rather pay more with other companies then jeopardize my health with the possibility of coming in contact with peanuts. Besides their nut allergy policy I just haven't had the best experiences with the flight crew. I might just have the bad luck of having the crew who doesn't want to be at work that day because a lot of time they aren't engaged or happy.

    Face-masks; I flew from 9am to 4pm on this airline wearing a face-mask with a oneway valved exhaust vent with no issues. Flying back today an attendant at the gate tells me that the same mask is not allowed by this airline. She goes on handing me a mask with no metal forming band over the nose, meaning the exhaust air passes freely both ways through the large openings around my nose. I asked when the policy was enacted and after calling someone she answered, "19 August 2020". My photos are of my original vented mask and what they provided to me to pose as a superior replacement for my ACC approved mask. Vented FaceMask By this reasoning the US military's field protective mask, the M50, is completely inadequate to prevent the spread of a virus pandemic. Anyone who has served in the US Military has seen the way the M50 or M40 mask works. Bad air is filtered by a canister and oneway valves exhaust air directly out of the mask. Logically, if you are sick this allows the release of some airborne droplets in the exhaust air. But if you are not sick it is nothing but clean filtered air exhaled from an uninflected person. Since everyone in a compromised environment would be wearing a mask then the risk of infection would be much reduced. Enter the flimsy cloth mask. A cloth mask does not even have the form fitted nose bridge. This design failure allows the free exchange of air both while inhaling and exhaling, thus offering no protection for the wearer or those who would be exposed to the unfiltered second hand exhaust air, even if the wearer was uninflected. A vented mask would still provide more protection than an ill conceived, none form fitting, cloth mask. A none form fitting cloth mask like the one I was provided by American Airlines as a replacement for my form fitting, active carbon filtered, three cloth layers of filter media (outside layer disposable/replaceable and inside layer washable). So it would seem that if I was wearing my military field protective mask that I would be asked to remove it and in its place use a completely inadequate DIY unapproved and impossible to seal leaking mask. A DIY, cloth mask that apparently the CDC approves of wearing in place of even a military mask proven to stop nuclear, biological, and chemical contamination for the wearer. I guess we are going to ignore the fact that DIY cloth masks, like the one I was provided by American Airlines, leak air in both directions, ultimately protecting no one.

    Had a good experience with AA. As seats are assigned it's not a mad dash except when they run out of overhead space. I did see them enforce the size of carry on and limit the bags and purses which helps. I mean , come on people just check your bags if you are not packing light!!! During flight they passed out Biscoff cookies instead of pretzels which is super cool. I think we are all crammed in like sardines no matter what airline you take but the seatbelts on this flight were a little longer and not having to suck it in to buckle up! Thank you!     Light is still on after an hour. No one has come by. Just want some headphones. Worst service ever on a plane.

    Took off at 1:25 pm, tvs weren't working so they rebooted it. Had my attendant light for the past hour asking for headphones. As the one male attendant walked by me I asked him and he ignored me. He came by again and I asked again. He never came by with the headphones. It's 2:55 pm, no one has come to my row or the lady across from me. Worst service ever on a flight. Still no headphones.     Very poor service from the moment I got on the plane. So I am flying to my grandma's funeral. I fly from San Luis Obispo to Phoenix which that leg of the flight went very smooth. In Phoenix there was a 50 minute quick layover and by the time my luggage came from under the small plane I basically had to walk straight to my next gate. So I walk up and board the plane. As I am getting on a flight attendant said that I could not carry on my suit jacket that was in a zip up suit bag. I explained that I would put it on and that it was for my grandma's funeral and since American Airlines has lost my luggage before that I needed everything with me. She basically gave major attitude and said there was a place to hang it in the front. Not a single other thing was in there then or at the end when I picked it up. So on to the flight. It was going to be bumpy so they delayed drink service. Not a problem. So when the resume when they get to me I order a water and a Heineken. I go to pay with cash as the first flight was cash only and she states only credit. So I get my card out and hand it to her. She gives me the beer and on doing so tells me to turn down my music. Thus us where I wish she or anyone would have put them in their ears because the volume was so low that I could barely hear it. You see my kids gave me the broken headphones and they are not loud at all. Anyways I start to do it and she says turn it down now which I did. Then she proceeds to start lecturing me about how if she can hear it it is bothering everyone around me. Keep in mind this is over and hour into the flight. So I basically called ge out asking why she is giving me a hard time. That is when she turned into crazy mode asking how many drinks I had had, answer being none. Anyways after she kept running her mouth I simply said Shut Up please and she said she would not serve me, which I was fine with and actually didn't feel like giving the airline any of my money after her comments. So I think it it is over and 20 minutes later she brings me a piece of paper. Still unsure which violation she thinks I broke?

    You can tell the Phoenix Airport is a major American hub. The airport itself perfectly reflects it airline. Cheap cheap cheap cheap cheap!

Then I continued from SLC to Ontario Airport in California. I am proud to be a frequent flyer for Delta. The boarding of both planes at both airports was very organized. The flight attendants were all super friendly. I like that drinks, snacks, and a carry on luggage are all included for me. The cost can be a little bit higher, but well worth it because it is a really clean and professional airline. I was hoping my nephew was working this night for Delta, but he was not. I am so glad he works for a great company! On my last flight on the way in, the Karen in front of me had her seat all the way back as soon as the flight barely got off the ground. As soon as the flight attendant said all seats forward and tray tables away, I quickly pointed out that she needed to be woken up and the lady woke her up and pushed her seat forward at the same time! She told me, don't worry, I gotcha !!! Lol . All the peeps around me were laughing so hard . All was great! I couldn't complain as this was a free flight for me!!! Thank you Delta! See you again soon!!!

They took forever to offload my stroller and wouldn't let me board after disabled and military, when I had a stroller , car seat that needed to be strapped in the plane. It takes time to wrangle a toddler and put in the car seat, fold the stroller etc. I didn't want to delay anyone because I had my hands full with a carryon and children items. Delta and American Airlines were so understanding and helpful when you have children. Especially American Airlines. Will not travel with southwest again with children.

When that's not even what we were asking. Passengers beware, because she does not seem professional or competent enough to do this job. Didn't catch her name, but she is the bigger woman with a metal front tooth. Awful. The crew on the plane made everything so much better and even helped us make our connection, and we are so grateful. But to the obnoxious gate agent, hope you have the life you deserve. It costs nothing to be kind, especially when you're there to HELP PEOPLE. Management for United at Omaha airport, please take these reviews and concerns seriously and hire people who genuinely care or can at least comprehend simple questions. PLEASE.

With the construction detour through the garage a person in a wheelchair must be pushed or walk a long distance! Yet construction crews are RIGHT IN FRONT of BOTH terminals for their CONVENIENCE. I had to sit my 85 year old mother on a bench in the parking garage. Return the rental car and then FIND a policeman who called the wheelchair assistance group to pick her up! NO information posted anywhere, NOTHING ONLINE. Their website was a JOKE! Their map for the airport does NOT SHOW SECURITY checkpoints! DO BETTER! THINK! WORK HARDER! I had a specific time for a vacation, a budget and higher expectations to satisfy a birthday trip. She checked all the boxes, all while having the upmost of patience with me while I whittled thru the possibilities. She is already looking for another trip for us for Christmas. We have referred friends to work with The Vacation Superstore and I forward the weekly emails to all my friends looking for a vacation. The service Shawn provides is top notch! Can't wait to see what she has instore next.

    Not the service I expected from a travel agency. I started booking with Vacation Superstore 6…read moremonths before our travel to Cancun at the end of May. I did not know that this agency does not book directly with the resort; they use a larger agency, Funjet Vacations, to book. In January, I called to ask how to access my reservation on the resort website so I could confirm my request for double beds and have our 4 rooms located close to each other. Barb was out of the office. John answered my phone call. He told me he would get back to me with the answer. Even after follow-up with him, he did not respond to my request. At 3:30 a.m. on the morning of travel we got an email notice that our flight out of Omaha was delayed 4 hours which meant we would not be able to make our connecting flight. I called the agency for help. The on-call agent told me that she called American Airline and was put on an 8-hour hold. She told me to go to the airport and work this out ourselves. There are 11 of us traveling. She did not help us look for other options. We looked online and could not find any flights for 11 people that day. I called American Airline and made travel arrangements myself. I was not on hold for 8 hours. Unfortunately, we had to reschedule flights for the next day. Barb told me that because we changed flights without their help, they would no longer help us with the airline booking.
