A carry on and a personal item are free that's always nice. They walk thru one time and offer a drink out mini snack. The movie list and WiFi on the planes are great! I've Always had great stewards. Well, this is my first review of 2024! Last week, I took a flight that originated from Omaha Airport in Nebraska to Salt Lake City Airport in Utah. Then I continued from SLC to Ontario Airport in California. I am proud to be a frequent flyer for Delta. The boarding of both planes at both airports was very organized. The flight attendants were all super friendly. I like that drinks, snacks, and a carry on luggage are all included for me. The cost can be a little bit higher, but well worth it because it is a really clean and professional airline. I was hoping my nephew was working this night for Delta, but he was not. I am so glad he works for a great company! On my last flight on the way in, the Karen in front of me had her seat all the way back as soon as the flight barely got off the ground. As soon as the flight attendant said all seats forward and tray tables away, I quickly pointed out that she needed to be woken up and the lady woke her up and pushed her seat forward at the same time! She told me, don't worry, I gotcha !!! Lol . All the peeps around me were laughing so hard . All was great! I couldn't complain as this was a free flight for me!!! Thank you Delta! Delta Airlines gate agent followed proper boarding protocol this morning. She gave clear and concise directions thos morning. She even thanked each person personally after their name appeared on her screen once the boarding pass was scanned. Flight attendants were professional, friendly, and provided consistent directions to those waiting for the line to move on a crowded flight to MSP on an A320 plane. read more

My first flying experience since COVID began was pretty good. My bags weren't lost and came out quick. No delays. Though my flights were changed several times before I actually left. I was impressed they have mini clif bars as a snack item now and proudly brew Starbucks coffee onboard. The check in process was super fast and easy. read more

After a horrible experience of a Delta manager not being able to understand the difference of visa, border entry paper work and lack of international travel this manager wanted to argue, was not capable of luggage math and with Delta status members and luggage wanted to charge rather then knowing how to handle the status members. Further discriminated on knowing myself from tv rather then focus on the luggage is not to be charged. I used my delta card and it's free regardless. This is the worst I've ever seen Delta in Omaha.. if managers are this uneducated on international travel and not knowing what documents, reports and discriminating towards their known travelers THIS IS ALARMING!!! So here we have today's hero of the day. We had an original flight out of delta at 621. Our flight got delayed 2 hours and on top of which our connecting flight in Atlanta takes off at 1032 and we weren't landing until 1030. We asked the employee at the desk, I didn't catch her name, but nice African American lady. She was busy so I know our added stress didn't help. She called Ms. Linda to save us. Ms. Linda walked up as a beacon of light was shining on her back. The glare was almost too much to look at. We told Ms. Linda our situation. My wife by chance found a flight with American airline. Ms. Linda called Charlotte to make sure we had room on their flight. Ms. Linda got us on our flight to Charlotte with our final flight in palm beach. I can now make work tomorrow thank god. The crew was very friendly, and we left and arrived on time. I sat in first class, was offered a soft drink. After take off was given hot wash cloth, a soft drink and a bag of cheezit or nuts. Usually on a flight you get a sandwich or something. I guess Delta doesn't do that. I thought the plane was somewhat dirty. I will never fly with Delta again! Our flight was to leave at 6am. We got to our gate with 8 minutes to spare along with 10 other passengers. Those other passengers had been standing their longer. Theres nobody at our gate so someone goes to another delta gate to see why we cant get on. Nothing happens a lady comes out the door at 5:58pm telling us we missed our flight but we can visually see the plane right there. I guess it will be a day drinking at the airport! read more

Flew Delta leaving Omaha recently flying out of Eppley. Don't have anything negative to say here, so from an airline perspective, that's pretty good. Flight was on time, staff was polite, and the trip was uneventful. Plusses in my book is that I can check in, view gates, and get updates from their app on my phone, and the ticket can be used in Passbook on an iPhone. Makes life easy. read more

Tried to book a flight to Italy for two on line using www.delta.com. Website was glitchy, after 20 minutes of entering information, airfare doubled at checkout. Figured I was doing something wrong, started over from scratch. The same thing happened, the fares were as expected until the very final confirmation screen before your credit card is charged, at which point they had inexplicably doubled again. Start again, same thing happened. For some reason, the site code or formula read two travelers as two trips each, instead of two travelers with one trip each, somehow exactly doubling the fare. Was trying to match the travel plans of friends on a shared vacation, wanted to fly at the same time. Took an hour to get a rep on the phone. His headset equipment made it almost impossible to understand what he was saying-although from what I could make out he was polite. (don't know if he could hear me very well or not, but he didn't seem to understand the issues. He kept saying throughout the conversation that the price might go up while you are making your reservation, but didn't understand that the flight doesn't double at checkout. His primary language was American English, so that wasn't the problem, it was just the equipment he was using made his voice sound very muffled and indistinct and perhaps he was working off a script that he kept reverting to which didn't include my situation). In the end, the fare went up by hundreds while we were talking, and the rep said there was nothing he could do about that, and we lost our seats anyway. Rep said he checked with a supervisor, and there was nothing we could do but take the higher fare. Went to Expedia and booked similar flights for less than the Delta , took only a few minutes, there were no glitches on Expedia. Although there is no chat feature on the Delta website, you could direct message them through Twitter if you happen to have an account and if you follow them. (Don't forget to unfollow when done.) They did respond quickly via Twitter, but all they were able to do was post a phone number to call. Kind of odd way to run a website chat function, but since I have a Twitter account I was able to make it work. The people were nice enough, but I would classify this is a pretty thorough technical fail. Website awkward and glitchy, web chat function was a strange workaround, and the rep's telephone equipment sounded like 1990.s Radio Shack clearance stuff. read more

Hey Delta. I want to first thank you for ruining our luggage on our recent trip. Secondly, I think your representatives at OMA either skipped or slept through customer service day at training. Typically, when anyone walks into any office they are at least greeted with a hello. Not in Omaha, just blank glazed over looks. Don't worry, I greeted myself only after a long awkward silence. Then, you would think I would be asked, "how can I help you?" No no that's too easy, I had to inform them I was there for our replacement luggage, I was told to come down and get anytime. Apparently, it takes a doctorate degree of some sort to look at the wall of new luggage and hand me my replacement. I can only guess this because I was asked to wait outside until the rep that called me returns. They apparently had some Important things to gossip about, which required them to shut and lock the door behind me. I would like to Thank Laurie (sp) for her excellent service and caring attitude.
