Dear American Airlines, I am writing to formally bring to your attention a very concerning incident that occurred during my daughter's recent flight from San Diego (SAN) to Miami (MIA) At check-in, an American Airlines employee behaved in a manner that is extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. My daughter, who is 15 years old, was initially assigned a seat next to an adult male passenger. My sister requested that she be seated closer to children her age. In response, the employee made a comment to my daughter stating that she was "dressed inappropriately" and should cover up "if she didn't want attention from a grown adult & if she was touched that was was looking for it". This statement was completely unacceptable. First and foremost, my daughter is a minor. In the United States, a child is not considered an adult until age 18. For a staff member representing American Airlines to speak to a young passenger in this way is highly unprofessional and deeply concerning. No minor should be spoken to or treated in this manner. While my daughter was ultimately reseated, she was placed directly behind a morbidly obese passenger, which severely restricted her space and made her six-hour flight very uncomfortable. She also reported that the conditions were unpleasant due to odor, making the experience even more distressing. My two main concerns are: 1. The inappropriate and unacceptable comment made by your staff member. 2. The lack of care in ensuring my child was seated in a safe and reasonably comfortable environment for the duration of the flight. I would like this matter to be fully investigated, and I am prepared to provide photographs of both my daughter's attire (which was entirely age-appropriate) and her assigned seating conditions. I expect a written response regarding how American Airlines intends to address this issue to ensure no other child or family experiences this type of treatment in the future. Thank you for your attention to this very serious matter.

Significantly delayed flight with no refund offered.

--Everything was on time, easy boarding, easy exit, no frills and no fuss!--…read more This is my third flight on Spirit. I previously flew Southwest, but their prices have been getting more ridiculous so I finally tried out Spirit, in 2025. I am now a fan! I have flown one other budget airline (in Europe) before, which left a super bad taste in my mouth, so I was hesitant to fly another budget airline. Flying from socal to norcal (flight time: 1 hour 6 minutes) for $30, I wasn't really expecting much, just that it got me there on time in one piece. I expected them to nickle and dime me and measure my luggage, but none of that happened! The personal item size allowance in America (18x14x8) is way more generous than in Europe. My giant tote bag easily fit in the designated box. I didn't see them try to give anyone a hard time about luggage size at all. What surprised me the most was the flight itself. Planing and deplaning was easier because most people didn't have carry-ons. There were also no snacks (unless you bought some from them), so there was hardly any trash and the seats were way cleaner. Sure the seats don't recline and aren't as cushiony, but it's totally negligible for my short flights. I'm short so the legroom was plenty for me. Not really sure how they make profit charging $30 a flight (during off peak hours), with $20 of it going to airport/government fees, but nonetheless I enjoyed 3/3 of my flights with Spirit!

Kudos to Spirit Airlines for having a last minute flight for me to be able to catch Monday Night…read moreFootball at the Bay Area! No drama, just a basic flight, with a seat and seatbelt. The staff on board the plane were friendly and helpful. However, my one major critique was that they only had one staff for general curbside check-in and luggage drop off. Despite using the kiosk to print out our tags ourselves, we still had to wait in a long line to have them weigh our luggage and check our IDs, easily remedied by having at least one more staff. The first class staff did call us over once she was through with her line but I really thought a second economy staff was needed, especially since half the passengers were waiting to check in until they reached the front of the line, old school style, so that the guy had to print out their tags for them and their boarding passes... Thank goodness for TSA precheck which made the security portion of the morning go super fast. In any case my overall impression of Alaska Airlines was improved by the efficiency and comfort of the flight itself.

My last trip was memorable for sure! I suffered a terrible fall and tore my meniscus on the last day of our trip. It was quite the experience! The next day we took a red eye back to San Diego. My wife checked us in and explained that I was going to need a wheel chair. Not only did they provide me with a wheelchair, but they also assisted me and my family with our luggage. With the help of Alaska, they guided us through TSA and directed us to the main gate. They also upgraded my family to business class while upgrading me to first class. From start to finish the process was seamless! Thanks to Alaska Airlines and their superb customer service! I will forever be indebted to them!

This line is available to connect with a live agent anytime, including for urgent issues. General customer support options can also be explored through their website. **Effortless Booking & Clear Travel Setup** I chose Copa Airlines primarily because of its strong reputation for customer service, convenient West Coast route network, and competitive fares. Compared with several competing carriers, Copa Airlines offered the most practical itinerary and convenient departure times for my trip. The booking process was smooth and easy to navigate. Fare options, baggage allowances, seat selections, and upgrade opportunities were clearly displayed, making it simple to customize my trip according to my travel preferences. **Priority Airport Experience & Efficient Flow** My airport experience started positively. Check-in counters were well organized, and airline staff members were courteous and efficient. Security screening moved smoothly, and boarding commenced close to the scheduled departure time. Although the gate area became crowded shortly before departure, the overall boarding process remained relatively organized and stress-free. Copa Airlines customer support can help with flight reservations, ticket changes, cancellations, baggage inquiries, seat upgrades, check-in assistance, and other travel-related services. **Comfortable Cabin & Calm Environment** Once onboard, the aircraft appeared clean and well-maintained. Most flight attendants were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the journey. Their positive attitude contributed significantly to the overall experience. However, seat comfort did not entirely meet my expectations. I paid approximately $140 extra for seats that appeared to offer a more comfortable arrangement during booking, only to discover that the actual seating configuration onboard differed slightly from what had been displayed online. My assigned seat, K6, offered limited cushioning, forcing me to use additional pillows and blankets for lower back support during the flight. While manageable on shorter routes, improved seat padding would certainly enhance comfort on longer journeys. **Reliable Journey & Smooth Arrival** The flight departed with only a minor delay and arrived close to schedule. Inflight snack and beverage services were delivered efficiently, and baggage delivery after arrival moved relatively quickly. Unfortunately, customer service before departure proved frustrating. I initially contacted a representative in Seattle regarding flight details and aircraft information. I was then transferred to another department, believed to be located in Portland, where I was informed they could not assist and provided another contact number. After several transfers and repeated explanations, I was eventually redirected back to the original department before finally receiving the information I needed. The aircraft itself looked attractive, and the majority of cabin crew members worked hard throughout the journey. However, cabin cleanliness declined slightly as the flight progressed. A few passengers were loud and inconsiderate, while some lavatories required additional attention after several hours in the air. Although Copa Airlines provided excellent customer-focused service, convenient route options, and professional cabin crews, the inconsistent customer support, disappointing seat comfort, and minor cleanliness concerns overshadowed some of the positives. Would I fly Copa Airlines again? Yes, particularly for travel along the West Coast and across North America. However, before future trips, I would also compare fares and schedules with Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, Alaska Airlines, Latam Airlines, Wizz Air, Priceline, Air France, Lufthansa, Copa Airlines and American Airlines to determine which carrier offers the best overall value and onboard experience.

My boyfriend walked up and asked if we could be moved closer to the front of the plane given the circumstances and she waved him away without even looking at our itinerary. Told him the gates were close together in Boston. The plane had several open seats closer to the front, so this would not have been a burden on her. The flight attendant on the plane was much more helpful, and the pilot made an announcement that a few folks had extremely tight connections so please remain seated unless you were one of them. Every single person in economy stayed seated, but I guess the announcement didn't reach the privileged, self-centered folks in first, as they ALL stood up and a woman told my boyfriend to move so she could grab her luggage. He said no, and I explained we had an extremely tight connection. A man in an Aloha Brewing shirt barked at me that everyone had tight connections. He started becoming very irritated and the woman in front of him told him that it was too early in the day to fight me. So that was fun. I hope dude felt really good about himself for going off on a girl. Anyway, he said he was going to New York so I checked the flights to New York. His connection was not tight. He was just rude. I recognize this is unrelated commentary but it's helpful context in the grand scheme of my experience. Our connecting plane was nowhere near the gate when we disembarked, so we had to run through the airport to another part of Terminal C in Boston. A JetBlue agent there asked where we were running to and said she'd call the plane to ask them to hold it for us. They did. JetBlue in Boston was stellar. All's well that ends well in the end, and the FA/pilot really did save the day, but I really wish the gate agent in San Diego had cared even an ounce to help us as a touch of customer service would've gone a long way. It could've been a different outcome if economy hadn't acknowledged the pilot's announcement.
