The sale and finance team at Mercedes Walnut Creek could not explain the finance rate & APR for the lease and could not do a cost trade off analysis of buy vs. lease. I expect more. I asked them to help me with getting billing statements online from Mercedes Financial and they essentially told me that I was on my own. It is virtually impossible to get through to customer service at Mercedes Financial. Good luck. I have tried 4 separate times and after about 20 minutes holding I hung up. There was not even and option for a call back. I have set everything on my Mercedes online account to receive online monthly bills. I not only don't get them but I don't get a receipt from them when I send them the monthly money. If I don't pay for 2 months, guess what, I here from Mercedes Financial. I suppose they are determining if I am a default risk and are preparing to do a repo. I just want to receive online invoices and receipts. No luck. Never a problem with Audi.

Before the sale, they assured me the car had gone through a full inspection and maintenance service, something they charged $2,499 for. This fee was supposed to cover new or serviced tires, brakes, fluids, and other major maintenance items. However, when I got home, I immediately noticed the tires had severe dry rot -- something that would have been obvious to anyone performing even a basic inspection. I brought the vehicle back to the dealership expecting them to take responsibility, but I was told "the owner doesn't care and isn't going to pay for new tires." This dealership completely misrepresented the condition of the vehicle and refused to honor the very maintenance they charged thousands of dollars for. Their lack of accountability and customer care is alarming. If you're considering buying here, do yourself a favor and stay far away. There are plenty of honest dealerships that stand behind what they sell, unfortunately, this one clearly does not.

The amount was too big over the phone, so I set up a wire transfer from my bank to my TDECU account with help from one of their wire transfer people. My bank sent the money, but TDECU rejected it. To make this payoff reliably happen, I had to drive 100 miles to a branch bank and write a check. Just do business with a major bank.
