Once I went to pick up my food, it was wrong and they made me pay for another meal / the correct meal. I had several issues with my food at this location. we ordered a hamburger my boyfriend said it tasted funny. we asked to switch for a cheesesteak at first he acted like it was an issue. then we get it I sit down to eat my gyro I ordered and they put Philly cheesesteak meat on it. try to get my money back at this point and the man who barely spoke any english refused and told me he didn't know the manager. so I had to call the cops and they acted like they weren't the police. but the got the manager on the phone and I still only got half my money back. i think there should be at least a English speaking manager at any establishment. then the food was nasty also. I am very disappointed. I have never had issues with my food at any other American deli. they all need to be fired and replaced. read more

The American Deli on Milton Rd is the worst place to order food. Customer service is horrible! They talk over you when you're trying to explain things to them. I placed an order with them through DoorDash. They gave my order away to someone who wasn't DoorDash and my order was cancelled. I reorder the same order through DoorDash and they gave my order away again to someone who wasn't Doirdash. Not my fault. Who spends around $15 for a sandwich and drink only to leave before it is even ready for pickup? I do. Call me stupid, but it's more a case of impatience and the observance of ineptitude. I ordered a Gyro and small drink. That's it. I should have taken better note of at least 15 people all standing around when I walked in. Seemed odd. What they, too ,were doing, was waiting on their food. This is supposed to be "fast food". It is anything but that. I waited 27 minutes (I clocked it), and still no food (not even my drink while I wait). In fact, there were still people who came before me STILL waiting. The employees seemed indifferent. The new customer line (those that hadn't even ordered yet) was still long enough I couldn't even ask for a refund. I can live without $15 for my own sanity. Their system sucks, the employees seemed indifferent, and absolutely, positively, would not ever return to this place again. Today was my first time eating at American deli. I ordered the cheese steak, wings, and fries. The wife ordered the same thing without the wings. As we ordered this, the cashier was awesome. She was very personable and appeared to love her job. I didn't get to talk to any other staff members but they seemed upbeat and worked well with each other. The restaurant was very clean and well kept. The seating was adequate but i could see it being uncomfortable if there was a good number of people in there. Now here comes the negative aspects. My wife did not care too much for her cheese steak. She was not a big fan of the type of cheese used and thought it tasted a bit off. As for myself, i thought it was just "ok". I would have preferred a bit more cheese. I liked the fries but i made the mistake of telling the cashier to add the seasoning salt to both plates of fries. It was decent in my opinion, but my wife absolutely hated it. My wings were decent although i wouldn't order the lemon pepper type again. I'm more of a naked wing type of guy. In summation, America Deli did not wow me. It wasn't terrible by any means, but definitely not the best. But this is just my humble opinion. read more

Hello friends, I didn't know this location was open. Luckily it was/is... unluckily the food wasn't as good as the other locations that I've gone to. I don't stray away from what i've grown to love off the menu. However, this day i got the burger (1st time), shrimp fried rice, wings (Mild & LP) and salad. All was good except the shrimp fried rice. It was not good at all. The rice was not done at all. Unless the new trend is crunchy rice i'm not sure. Good thing is they are consistant on giving you enough and that was a good thing. All the other items were good as usual. I had to throw the rice away. It was inedible but the burger was decent. Truly a delight to have experienced this location! This location isn't nearly as close as other fast food places are to my residence, but it is definitely worth it! This team has it down pat, they know exactly what they are doing! Words cannot explain how unhinged and disturbed I was by the way the older cook talked and treated the young cook. I believe the cook, who looks older in age, has been working this for quite some time and the younger cook just started working there. He was asking questions about orders and the man was humiliating him by yelling and calling him names in front of all the customers waiting there. This was Saturday night March 6, 2021 around 8:00pm. I don't expect anything to be done. I am not advising firing the man, but having a word with him would be nice. It's 2021 nobody deserves to be talked to and treated that way; Especially in a work environment where you should be professional. It was so uncomfortable hearing him talk and I thought I was the only one, but I noticed another customer looking at them and just nodding his head in discomfort. If I see this happening again I will have to report this situation to corporate. And I understand this is an app to review their food.. well actually I believe it's more about overall experience and feedback about everything. Thank you so much for your understanding. Yummy for my tummy. Got the Reuben and had it made with Pastrami and Corned Beef. This place has been talked about to me for a good bit. Awesome menu selection, friendly smiling faces.
