We've loved Charleys for years and they rarely disappoint. We visited on a Sunday late afternoon, so they were busy, in fact, the whole mall was busy. That means there were lines everywhere. Food was great. Not sure about the pricing of the food itself. I got the #2 combo with the Philly Cheesesteak, Fries, and a Lemonade. My bill came out to $20.14... which honestly is quite ridiculous. For food court mall food... Would much rather go spend $20 on other food, but it did its job. Steak was good quality but lacked flavor. My husband and I won a coupon valid this weekend for a free fries and soda with the purchase of a sandwich, so we decided to give them a shot. He had the chicken philly and I had the traditional philly. We paid extra and got the lemonade. The lemonade was delicious! Fresh and real, not the from-concentrate stuff a lot of places sell. We were very impressed by the quality of the food, especially from a mall food court. The sandwiches were hot, fresh, not greasy, and delicious. The fries were soft and golden. This location I should say is not good. I placed an order with door dash and of course was dissatisfied. My order was wrong of course. The bread was cold and soggy sandwich was filled with mayo gross at the other place they used this special sauce I don't kno why I didn't get that. WOW!!! YUM!!! We stopped here at this plaza for the Tesla supercharger. Hungry we entered the shopping center via Penney's which brought us straight to escalators ascending to the food court. My husband had eaten a Philly cheese steak in Philadelphia and loved it, so we tried this place. The taste was spectacular, the service was swift, and shady outdoor dining was provided. This is the worst place to go for good service. I was just there today, place my order, and then three other people place the order after me as I see each person walk up as the number called to get their order I'm still wondering why I can't get my order so I was told that I have to wait for the fries to be cooked when they just cook some and drop them into the order. They had a lower number than I did when ask why it was because the last order was a larger order and they wanted to take care of that order first. This is located in the Dining Terrace of the Westfield Culver City mall (the place where Ashnikko had Olive Garden). The employees were friendly and the service was quick. I got the ~$8 small chicken sandwich and fries combo. The fries were crispy and tasty but the sandwich was a little underwhelming since there wasn't a lot of chicken in mine and the Buffalo sauce has a vomity aftertaste. Please do not go to this restaurant because they simply don't value food safety or their customers at all. I am single father and I went there last night with my two children and I would also like to mention that I am diabetic. I placed a simple order of a vegetarian sandwich, kids meals, and a philly cheese steak. After I placed the order I told the cooks just to make sure they understood the order. They were very dismissive but assured it was correct. I notice that they were NOT WEARING GLOVES OR PROPER HAIR COVERINGS. I noticed one cook scratching his long hair and his bear and then continuing to touch the food. This is a HEALTH CODE violation. After I received my order no surprise it was completely wrong. They were unwilling to make me a new meal which is all I wanted. I told them and they proceeded to argue with me rather than apologizing. I went to the cashier who also didn't apologize and she told her employees that you got the order wrong. She said she would refund the order but she choose to nickel and dime me and not refund the drinks. Despite me telling her that I am diabetic and I am getting very low and I am a solor parent. Then the employee starting arguing me and telling me that he didn't appreciate the "little" comments I was making. My little comment being that I told the cooks to ensure our order was right and it came out wrong. I remained very calm and polite and the employee went on and on. To the point that the cashier had to tell him to stop. They simply don't care about food quality, safety, or customers at all. Please do not patron this restaurant. There are a lot of options at the food court and go where you are valued as a client, and you know you will be handled safely and accurately. read more
