    Pastrami
    Ligia D.

We drove by this place when heading to a concert at the forum. Had high hopes for it because knew was a mom and pop shop and would have a pastrami as an option and fried zucchini . Bag thing is didn't pass. I ordered a pastrami and we ended up having to take it to our hotel room because while waiting for our order a lady came up asking for change then peed herself in the corner when they told her they didn't have a restroom. Outside they do have seating. They apologized for what happened but we took it back to the hotel. When we got to the hotel I enjoyed the zucchini was fresh and crispy but the pastrami was dry and no sauce and barely any mustard. Had to keep taking gulps of soda to get it down. Maybe they are known for their burgers because my wife ordered a bacon burger and loved it. We're going to another concert next week. Might stop by to try the burger.

Melo Burgers. Mind. Officially. Blown. There is literally no end to their menu they have EVERYTHING you could possibly crave, any time of day. Breakfast? Burgers? Burritos? Shakes? Yup, all of it. And here's the kicker ...everything is delicious. The service is wicked fast, so don't blink or you'll miss your order being ready. This place is the ultimate go-to when hunger hits and you can't decide what you want....because Melo's has it all 24 hrs

This place is fucking awful, i had the steak sandwich and it was abysmal, i wouldnt be surprised if i die in the next couple days from some kind of stomach parasite. We also had the famous melo burger, yeah i could shit a better burger than this, the meat would be less mystery. The fries tasted good because theyre fries, however they look like a pathetic excuse for a restaurant. the strawberry lemonade was pretty good.

    all that Sausage! Disgusting

Trash! Ruined a basic breakfast burrito! It was full of dry sausage, barely any hash browns & eggs! I picked through the entire meal and ended up throwing the whole thing away! So sad because this used to be a neighborhood staple! Especially being 24hrs.

Service was great & fast, the French toast was good, bacon was nice & crispy, sausage was good but the eggs had an awkward taste. Location was cool although parking was a bit tight.

Food is crap here! I got the steak sandwich with onion rings and just the whole plate was a disaster. The onion rings had a stale taste and the steak had no flavor. I only finished half of it and the rest in the trash. I maybe had 1-2 onion rings of the 10. The person in front of me ordered a milkshake and people here said the shakes are pretty good. Maybe the only good thing about this place! They serve from breakfast all the way up late night. They are 24hrs with a drive through. I would not come back Food rating 3.0/10 steak sandwich and onion rings!

This spot was a short walk away from our lodging Choice Hotel. We passed it on the way and I have a soft spot for mom and pop shops. We took a good 20 min figuring out what to order and we finally settled on the Melo burger, chile rojo, and a PB banana shake. The chile rojo was soooo good. I am someone who cannot finish my meal and unfortunately I have picky taste. I wasn't able to finish this plate in one sitting but I did come back to it the following day and completely scraped it up. I love love loved it. My boyfriend said the melo burger was good. And I thoroughly enjoyed the PB Banana shake. Highly highly recommend this spot if you have the chance to visit.

Everything, from the burgers to breakfast burritos, is top notch. The large milk shake is a meal by itself. Many of the portions a huge.

First time at Martin's and we will definitely be back to try some more options…read more Food: ° Taco Sampler - you get 6 tacos (2) Al Pastor, (2) Asada, (2) Chicken with guacamole, pico de gallo, cilantro, onions, and lime. These tacos were so good. Great flavor on all of them but my favorite was the al pastor and pineapple. Great choice for small groups. ° Ceviche Camaron Con Mango - this was my favorite of the day. The flavor was so good and it was a large portion, it came with sliced cucumbers dipped in tajin on the side. The dish had avocado slices with mango sauce smothered on top. The Tostadas were made fresh. Loved this dish. It's a must try. ° Chips and Salsa - the salsa is everything. You can literally put it on anything and everything. I cant believe how good it tasted. It's smoky, mild heat with a good mild consistency. We put it on the tacos and it changed everything. I would buy this salsa!! We also added guacamole and heads up it could use some salt and lime to enhance the flavor so we added it in ourselves. ° Steak Fajitas - This plate was so hot and stayed hot the entire time. The meat was well seasoned and they give you plenty for one person. The tortillas come wrapped in thin paper to keep them warm and you get rice and beans with sour cream and pico. It's a must try. Really good. ° Baked Salmon Roll (Sushi) - The roll was big and had flavor you get about 8 pieces and the salmon is cooked table side with a torch. This gives you the option to cook the salmon to your liking. I chose medium toasted. It's a really cool experience. The flavor was great I would order this again. They do need to get better soy sauce cups, the ones they have are too deep and its really a salsa bowl. ° Combination Plate - you can choose 2 or 3 items so of course I chose 3 items. A chicken Enchilada, Hard Shell Taco (chicken), and a Chile Rellano with red sauce, and Rice and beans, the red sauce had a strong tomato base that I didn't really like too much but the Enchilada, and Chile Rellano was still pretty good. The portions are just right and the plate stayed hot. ° Drinks - we ordersd a Strawberry Frozen Margarita, and a Cadillac Margarita both can be ordered in large sizes which we did and when i say those are large drinks, those are large drinks. The bar tenders was quick too and the drinks was made just right. Service: The staff did a great job and seated us quickly, he was polite, attentive, and checked on us when he saw plates empty or us looking for assistance. The staff was great!! Atmosphere: The restaurant has a good vibe with plenty of TV's to watch sports, the bar is big and their is plenty of seating its a pretty big restaurant but it is split into two different sides. So if your looking for a place with space for big groups they can accommodate. They also have music playing but not too loud so conversations are easier. Location: It's on La Brea Ave in inglewood CA near the corner of Regent St. Price: The prices are fair. It's about $20-$30 per person. Parking: The parking sucks. It's really bad but you can park around the corner on the street. It is paid meter parking.

This place is a gem. Of course, I had to start with a margarita served in one of those huge goblet glasses, and wow--it did not disappoint. Strong, smooth, and full of flavor. My wife, who's pregnant, ordered a virgin cocktail, and honestly, it was just as impressive. It was refreshing, well-balanced, and fairly priced (which is rare for non-alcoholic drinks). For food, we went all in. My wife ordered the fish taco meal, which was generous and packed with flavor. The portions were no joke. Our son got the kids burrito, and it was massive--definitely not your average "kids meal." I went with the quesabirria tacos from the appetizer menu, and they were perfect for my appetite. Rich, flavorful, and satisfying without being too heavy. The ambiance really stood out. It strikes a great balance between authentic Mexican culture and a modern, clean dining experience. It's the kind of place that feels lively and welcoming without being overwhelming--perfect for a casual night out or even a small celebration. Service was top-tier. The staff was attentive without hovering, quick with recommendations, and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about the customer experience, which goes a long way. Parking is a bit limited right in front, but there's plenty of street parking and nearby lots, so it's manageable. Bonus: right next door is Drobe Stogie Cigar Lounge, which is a great spot to check out if you enjoy cigars. It's the perfect way to wind down after a solid meal. Overall, the pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and this is easily becoming one of our go-to spots for nights out. Highly recommend.

We were staying near LAX and I didn't want to drive too far, so we stumbled upon this Mexican spot in the cutest little downtown area ever. El Segundo, you are THAT b*tch! We arrived around 5:30 on a Saturday and were seated immediately (thank goodness). Our server was super duper friendly and even had multiple conversations with us throughout the meal, sharing anecdotes and talking to my tattoo artist friend about getting a tat from her LOL. We quickly ordered some chips and queso (not free) and were blown away by how creamy and tasty the queso was. The tortas were also delicious and easy to scoop a lot of cheese on to. On to the menu, they had a good variety of Mexican dishes, but the price point, man. I thought $4-5 a taco at Barrio Queen in Arizona was steep, but this place charged $7-8 for a single small taco. I would've been okay with any menu item since it's Mexican and nothing under that cuisine could be bad, but seeing each enchilada over $30, made me steer clear of the main entree dishes. I also knew I wanted to try fish tacos, so I just opted for one fish taco and one grilled taco, with a side of mashed black beans. Crazy that some black beans also were at least $5. The fish taco was nicely battered and the guacamole was ripe and creamy, but the grilled chicken taco was nothing spectacular. There was also cauliflower tacos and beef brisket tacos ordered among us. My friend who ordered the beef brisket taco rated it 7.5/10, whereas the cauliflower tacos were rated 9/10. The food also took at least 20 minutes to arrive at the table. Both sauces my tacos came with were extremely spicy so I didn't even touch those. My friends enjoyed their meals, and the side of green rice two of them got was rather tasty. Overall, our server was the best part of the experience.
