We drove by this place when heading to a concert at the forum. Had high hopes for it because knew was a mom and pop shop and would have a pastrami as an option and fried zucchini . Bag thing is didn't pass. I ordered a pastrami and we ended up having to take it to our hotel room because while waiting for our order a lady came up asking for change then peed herself in the corner when they told her they didn't have a restroom. Outside they do have seating. They apologized for what happened but we took it back to the hotel. When we got to the hotel I enjoyed the zucchini was fresh and crispy but the pastrami was dry and no sauce and barely any mustard. Had to keep taking gulps of soda to get it down. Maybe they are known for their burgers because my wife ordered a bacon burger and loved it. We're going to another concert next week. Might stop by to try the burger. read more

Decent spot if it's late and you want a quick meal. I ordered a double hamburger with cheese combo: I would like this place more if the burger was made fresh, they serve frozen hamburger patties cooked on the grill which I don't ever like spending my money on, the fries were over cooked and the strawberry lemonade was disgusting. It tasted watered down with some kind of strawberry's with syrup on it. If I ever go back it will be to try something else , hopefully they make other items better on the menu. read more

Decided to try them recently as i have a spot i love locally but my fiancee wanted to try something new. I wont be going back tk Melos. Pros: drive thru, extensive menu, large portions. Cons: No Quality. Over priced. The chili cheese fries were huge but I think they use nacho cheese on them which gave them an odd flavor and texture. Chilaquiles were soggy the rice was old and dry, the beans felt straight out of a can. The cheeseburger was ok at best. They've been around since my childhood and I never tried them so I'm glad I gave them a chance, despite my disappointment. read more

Food is crap here! I got the steak sandwich with onion rings and just the whole plate was a disaster. The onion rings had a stale taste and the steak had no flavor. I only finished half of it and the rest in the trash. I maybe had 1-2 onion rings of the 10. The person in front of me ordered a milkshake and people here said the shakes are pretty good. Maybe the only good thing about this place! They serve from breakfast all the way up late night. They are 24hrs with a drive through. Came today after a long time -- I had the Guacamole bacon burger last time and I remember the guacamole being very runny and bitter making the whole burger soggy, not very appealing. Told myself "ok not ordering that ever again". Tonight I had the double bacon cheese which btw they tape the price at the drive-in menu, am I not allowed to know how much something costs? it was average at best -- and again!!!the bitter after taste was extremely noticeable!!! this time after maybe 6 plus months since my last visit. I literally told myself no more jack n box and to venture out looking for a legit mom n pops burger joint but this unfortunately just ain't it. I got severe food poisoning from the carne asada burrito. RUINED my work trip, literally in town for a huge work operation & on first day of convention I had to miss it because I was on toilet dying all day! AND I ordered my colleague a vegetarian burrito (he hasn't eaten meat in 20 years) and his burrito had meat. This spot was a short walk away from our lodging Choice Hotel. We passed it on the way and I have a soft spot for mom and pop shops. We took a good 20 min figuring out what to order and we finally settled on the Melo burger, chile rojo, and a PB banana shake. The chile rojo was soooo good. I am someone who cannot finish my meal and unfortunately I have picky taste. I wasn't able to finish this plate in one sitting but I did come back to it the following day and completely scraped it up. I love love loved it. My boyfriend said the melo burger was good. Melo's is probably the worst place to eat in Inglewood. Ordered here on Friday and had the worst experience eating here. My boyfriend ordered a double cheeseburger and I ordered a club sandwich, both of which were drier than anything I have ever eaten in my life. There was no sauce on the burger, no ketchup, mayo, or anything and the sandwich also had no type of sauce or flavor. I've been passing this for years and every time I drive by there is always people here. Sometimes alotnof people but there is always someone there. It looks like a regular hood burger spot but there is one thing I've seen so far that makes them really different. They have 21 flavors of shakes. That right there got me. I had to find out what were all these flavors. I stopped everything I was doing and made my way back and was amazed at the lost of flavors. So I ordered a peanut butter and butterscotch shake. Man it was delicious. So to get this concoctions it doesn't come at a cheap price. I ordered a large and it was almost $10, very worth it but not cheap. So there is the proce of the shake. Small medium or large I think. 50 cents each additional flavor then they get you for 75 cents for using a debit or credit. Next time I go back I will try other flavors and probably get some food. 1st time customer. Service and food was not very good. First of all they got my order wrong. I ordered 4 breakfast burritos (2-sausge, 2-Bacon as the proteins). When I got home, I only had 3. I called and mentioned it to them and she asked me if I came through the drive-,thru or walk-up window. I said window and I gave her the transaction number and she said they don't have transaction numbers. She said she doesn't remember me, then when I told her I was the Asian woman who came with her son, then she began to look through her tickets and said, "oh, 2-bacon, 1-sausage and 2 med Jamaica drinks" I said Yes that's it. She said oh we only charged you for 3 burritos...$41 for 3 breakfast burritos and 2 med drinks. I didn't know how much those burritos were so I couldn't contest it. It was her word against mine. No apologies or anything for getting my order wrong. These fastfood workers demand higher pay but they do NOTHING to EARN it! Customer service these days is completely in the crapper. read more

Allergic reaction from eating burger The customer service was really good but the burger had a really weird taste. It was not nasty but it did taste kind of fishy like they may have cooked it on the same grill as seafood. The meat had a funny taste, the buns were stale and too many onions. I started having an allergic reaction after I ate the burger with my throat getting very itchy similar to what happens if I eat shellfish. I was scared, fearing that I would have to use my epi pen. I checked the menu again to see if there could be a possible cross contamination with my food, but there wasn't because the only things that I am allergic to are shellfish and roaches, and there is no shellfish on the menu. read more
