At first, I was a little hesitant to try this place because of some of the reviews, but my boyfriend really wanted to try the carne asada fries--and I'm so glad we did. Even as someone who doesn't usually go for carne asada fries, these were honestly the best I've ever had. Everything tasted super fresh, and the portion was perfect. The meat-to-fries ratio was on point, and I loved that the cheese was melted directly onto the fries--it made everything come together without feeling overly greasy. The chopped tomatoes and onions were fresh and perfectly diced, so you could actually taste every component in each bite. Surprisingly, I didn't even feel heavy afterward like I usually do with fast food. I also ordered a double cheeseburger, and it did not disappoint. Every bite was delicious, and the meat tasted like really good quality--fresh and flavorful. At first glance, it might look like your typical burger spot, but the taste definitely sets it apart. The service was excellent--quick, accommodating, and super patient while I took my time looking over their huge menu. They were also really nice about giving me extra condiments. Solid Breakfast Burrito... Yeah, yeah, yeah... I know! The irony... getting a Breakfast Burrito at a Burger Palace. Weird, but it just works. My mate frequents this place on a regular basis, he lives about 7 minute drive away. This is his go to spot when he needs something quick... aka fast food with a bit better "quality" than the regular fast food venues in the area. Pleasantly surprised at how tasty this place was. Must've passed by here 100 times and never had any desire to stop. Regular burger stand ambience, no frills but don't let that deter you. Ordered the bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg last night and it was very good. The typical burger stand fries and big REAL onion rings were a treat as well. Service was impeccable. An older gentleman met us in the drive thru and took our customized orders without a notepad (strictly by memory), and didn't miss a beat. This really was a great visit. I've been going to this place for over 20-years with no complaints; however, recently, the food is no longer tasty. The cooks can't make a simple bean, rice and cheese burrito. The cheese is never melted on anything you order, and it's way too much! And for the first time ever, I was missing items from my order. I doubt I'm the only one who's been experiencing issues. I must say this was great! I ordered a club sandwich and the combo came with fries and a drink. Loved it! Portions are quite generous. I was only able to eat half the sandwich and fries. The fries are perfectly seasoned. We also ordered a chicken quesadilla. Again, and the seasoning is on point. Ordered a side of chili cheese fries and a vanilla shake, and it's not fancy but they sure are good! Service was quick and very friendly! Any time staff welcomes me with a smile and is happy to recommend some of their favorites, I love, and will likely visit that place again. Also i don't know how many people dislike when they order any type of sandwich and it's smothered with a ton of mayo. Makes me almost not want to eat it. This place shocked me completely when I realized how I didn't have to take any mayo off my sandwich. I use to go to Horace Mann down the as a teenager and walk to Burger Palace every day after school. I haven't been here since about 15 years. Always would get a hamburger with extra seasoning salt on my fries. Nostalgic moment, same fresh simple burger and fries from more than a decade ago. I don't understand why people are crying about the prices. If groceries are more expensive for us that means everyone including restaurants have to pay more for them as well, so they need to raise the price in order to make a living. I haven't been here in a few months but the food is still awesome. They've added a few gates next to the drive thru which is cool becus it keeps away people begging for change/ money. The menu is still pretty much the same. I don't like that you can order breakfast at anytime. Which is cool. I've been coming to Burger Palace for a couple of years. The thing is, the the chicken tacos at Burger Palace are the best, in my opinion. They are filing, they taste good, I think its the red onions. Hey Burger Palace, if you read this, DO NOT change your recipie for your chicken tacos. I understand if you raise the price, but do NOT change the quality or the size! Over the years, Burger Palace has been pretty good about not changing the quality or size when they raise prices, EXCEPT on their Denver Omlette. Hey Burger Palace, my mom used to send me to get your Denver Omlette every Sunday, but she says its too expensive since you raised the price AND cut the size down. DON'T make the same mistake with your chicken tacos or your shrimp plate. Also, the pineapple shake, although expensive, IS worth it. I usually order two chicken tacos and a large pineapple shake. Very disgusting, they don't use gloves they don't even wash there hands. They touch all of the condiments and toppings with their bare hands. The guy made sure our order was correct. We ordered a kid cheeseburger meal, a regular burger meal and a cheeseburger meal. My total bill was $20 and it probably could have fed 6 people. The kids cheeseburger was a "smaller" version of their cheeseburger only plain, I could have just gotten this and would have been full. It came with a drink and regular size fries, my daughter loved it. She said she'd rather go there than in n out, and this girl looooves in n out. Lol I had the cheeseburger meal and my lil cousin had the hamburger meal. Ours came with the usual suspects, lettuce, onion, tomato, mustard (we substituted because we're not a mayo/thousand island family). It was so good. The burger was fresh along with the toppings.
