He mentioned that chloramine is the corrosive chemical in municipal water that eats through thin copper pipes (type-M) & that a catalytic carbon filter system would remove all chloramines. I also called a number of other companies & it was clear they weren't interested in spending the time texting & on the phone with me that Mike did. He set me up with a great dual catalytic carbon filter (to completely remove chloramines) & a soft water filter ( to treat hard water & remove calcium & magnesium). She told us to try drinking tap water and see the difference, she never cared about our concerns and never got us any service. We had been long-time customers. We eventually had a technician friend come to look at it and he showed us how there was crack in the system, the water pressure was too high and one filter had to be changed. It shocked us because we just had Professional Pure Water come a few months ago, paid almost $400 for maintenance, new filter and everything. PPWS is not professional at all. The landlord wouldn't allow the R/O faucet install. Everything was great. Phil cleaned up. Made sure his install was fine even though he had another big job in south OC yet to drive to after my job. I was in IE. I highly recommend CWS to those who want filter clean water for just their kitchen fellow Yelpers. My cooler has 3 settings. Hot, cold, regular.
