The shop sits next door to LePeep, so after LePeeps, take a second to pop in. I am so excited for Brooke who continues to make her dreams come true. She started painting furniture in her home, and now her business has grown into this beautiful shop. Brooke still paints furniture if you are considering updating an item. She painted a small cupboard for me and did a nice job. The shop is filled with gift items, home decor from furniture to soy candles, vases, greenery, pottery, mirrors, table lamps to floor lamps, Artisan tea towels, wooden lazy susan, artisan dessert plates to framed watercolors to name a just a few items. They even carry a few gifts for a new baby. You can purchase an adorable, sweet swaddling blanket and a precious "My First Snuggled Bunny." To cute!! I was surprised to find the ever popular Taylor Swift designs with tee shirts, stickers for a phone, cooler, notebook, or laptop. As you can imagine, they sell out fast. If you are interested in Indy 500 decor, then you most likely have seen Justin Patten's artwork. His cavased printed artwork comes ready to frame. I received one as a gift from folks staying at my home, and we love it.

It really held up very well and the cushions were just like when I purchased the sofa and chair the dinnet set I really hated to let it go because it was a one of a kind and I wanted to get the bar height table and chairs. Foundry 317 is along the canal right on Westfield Boulevard. Foundry 317 focuses on home decor and furniture. I clearly arrived right at the tail-end of the holiday season and a good number of the items either had a holiday theme or fit within the holiday season. Items included antiques, one-of-a-kind furniture pieces, festive accents, candles, and other overall housing items. Foundry 317 has a parking lot, though I was actually wheeling there. There's a small ramp up to the sidewalk if you approach it from the right (facing Foundry 317). The doorway is pretty workable and I found the interior to be surprisingly accessible (though I will admit I was taking extra caution given some of the prices!). As I was wheeling, I knew it was pretty unlikely I'd actually buy anything on this visit as it would have been difficult to carry back to my car. However, I definitely saw some items I loved and can easily see myself returning in the near future. The employee I encountered was friendly, the environment was warm and inviting, and I really loved some of the smaller items. I'm a candle freak and definitely would like to return for those. I've always found this section of Westfield Blvd. a little hit-and-miss. The sidewalk is kind of cracked and it's somewhat uneven, however, there's much to love here and I loved the efforts toward accessibility. This is definitely a little gem. I'd seen it before, however, I've never been by when they were open. I finally got the chance to visit, and I'm definitely impressed. I'll be back.

We bought a heavily discounted refrigerator online that was listed as "open-box, like new". Pictures online looked fine, so we bought it and also paid additional for delivery. Their delivery window is ALL day, so be ready for that... I took off work on the scheduled deliver day, and after waiting the entire day, got a call at 5:30 PM that the delivery was delayed and would not be delivered until the next day. SO, the next day I work from home and got an email with a link confirming the delivery was set and it provided updates on status. The expected delivery updated throughout the day from 2:15 at first to 3 to 4 to 5 to 6----Drivers finally show up after 7:00PM. The refrigerator was on the truck, and inspection revealed significant dings on virtually every panel and big scrapes down both sides. The drivers didn't even have a dolly---NOTHING to unload/move the refrigerator. It didn't matter, I refused the delivery. WARNING TO BUYER: ONLY buy if you can inspect the unit and pick it up that day!

There are all kinds of beverages to enjoy. All kinds of hors d'oeuvres are served. It puts people in a holiday spirit. I always finds something to take home. The stall owners are very helpful. Each stall is so personalized that you can find something special hidden in corners. Discovery is fun. The prices vary. I found a lovely candlestick for $5! Just what I was looking for. Of course I've been back several times. Once I walked in the door and within a minute I saw the exact Christmas tree I was looking for. SOLD. I hope people check out this quirky shop.

Ahhhh...finally some "me" time and I found my happy place at Roots to Wings. The locally-owned…read moreshop, an old barn, is filled with a mix of antiques, artisan objects and decorator items. The clerks welcomed me when I entered and asked if they could help me. They told me about sales in many booths. Most booths were had clearance prices with prices up to 50% off. A friendly old shaggy dog makes its way past customers. The shop is filled with soaps, candles, jewelry and primitive antiques. I searched through every nook and cranny. Each room is creatively decorated. I found a Christmas ornament that I couldn't live without. Actually, I found several, but settled on one. The shop was filled with laughter, as clerks removed ornaments from trees. This made me happy. There is a restroom filled with whimsical antiques. The shop is a little difficult to see from the road, but they had banners out to pull people in. Parking is somewhat limited, but I didn't have trouble finding a spot. Well worth a visit.
