Panzanella is probably my favorite salad in OKC
    Stephanie G.

Here's a polished, warm, and inviting review that captures everything you described while keeping your voice front and center: --- American Gothic Pizza is one of those rare spots that immediately feels like a neighborhood favorite. Tucked into the Wheeler District, it's hip without trying too hard--comfortable, welcoming. Their Panzanella salad is hands‑down the best I've had anywhere. No dough goes to waste! Perfectly dressed and always fresh. What really sets this place apart, though, are the owners. Their sincerity shows up in the food, the atmosphere, and the service.

American Gothic Pizza is a charming neighborhood pizza spot right down the street from Downtown. The first thing I noticed was the lovely color palette and the big windows, which give it a really nice vibe. The pizza itself was great and tasted super fresh. I especially liked the pepperoni pizza. I highly recommend checking them out if you are in the area. We had a great time enjoying some drinks and food, and we honestly cannot wait to come back again. I am definitely going to try the gelato next time I visit. Solid four stars for this place.

Pitchforks down, pizza up. I am in a serious relationship with American Gothic Pizza Co. From the inspiration (the American Gothic painting) to the respect of the Naples way (authentic Italian pizza), this place is top notch. Located in Wheeler District, it's just a stones throw away from Downtown and I highly recommend you check them out.

Great pizza spot! The decor was so nicely designed and clean. The self-serve water and beverage area was convenient. Service was pretty quick and the employees were friendly, helpful, and professional. The pizza was great and very fresh-tasting. I liked the pepperoni. The dessert selection looked great. The restrooms were clean and convenient. The only downside to the location was the parking situation, it's mostly parallel street parking.

Yes, yes and yes. Such good pizza, good people, and a fun location. The place 8s also so cutely decorated and clean. athey even used left over wallpaper to make their napkin holders cute. Their are viewing windows in to the kitchen which my daughter loves. And they make their own gelato. Bonus! A very fun find.

Great service! Visiting from California and this is the best pizza in the area! Very friendly and great happy hour deal! Will definitely be back!

I'll start by saying this place it's very cute and clean. Staff were very friendly and there were things I enjoyed. The kale caesar salad was very yummy and I enjoyed my gelato. Was it enough to get me to comeback? Unfortunately, no. I went with two other friends and we all agreed the pizza was just ok. There are many other places we'd prefer to go to. The pizzas lacked flavor and were really unimpressive. I got the cluck Norris which on the menu sound delicious and would be packed with flavor but it was just average. Everyone has their own taste in pizza so I would say still give it a chance but for me it's a one time visit.

My Daniel San pizza and my mom's Margherita pizza. Oh and my cocktail

My family and I came in on a Saturday night and enjoyed some pizzas and cocktails. This is such a cute spot, we had a great time. The ambiance was wonderful- I particularly loved the decor and the place was clean and well kept with a cute bar. Service was on point. That pizza... oh man, the pizza. It was tremendous. I had the Daniel San which has a honey drizzle and some sriracha. Delicious!! My parents and husband thoroughly enjoyed their pizzas as well- we talked about how good it was even a couple hours after we left. Safe to say it made a good impression on us. Overall- I highly recommend stopping by American Gothic Pizza and enjoying some drinks and pizza. We can't wait to come back- I will be trying the gelato next time!

    Gothic Glory pizza

We stopped in for a quick lunch. Super clean, wonderful service, great selection. The delightful smell hits you the minute you step through the door! I ordered the Gothic Glory and the boyfriend ordered the Temple of Doom. They offer 2 different sizes: 10" & 13 " Both were delicious. E will be back to try some other pizzas.

This is a fairly new little restaurant that we wanted to try. The service was fast and the staff were very friendly. We all got different pizzas. I had the Margarita pizza. It was delicious. I wasn't all that hungry so I had decided to just eat half and take the rest home. It was so good I ate it all. We all loved it

My new favorite pizza place. Cocktails and gelato are a nice addition too. Pizza is made with fresh ingredients and I look forward to trying them all on their menu. We made it for HH so it was a nice treat to have a discounted dinner but definitely worth it to pay full price.

Pepperoni pizza, margarita pizza, and ricotta ranch.

We started with the fries, then split a Detroit-style pizza and ordered New York-style slices too, including pepperoni and a chicken version. Pizza was solid -- I'd put it around 7.5/10. The space itself was a 9.5/10, and the staff were an easy 10/10 -- attentive, friendly, and clearly took pride in the place. One heads-up: they don't take Apple Pay, so bring a card or cash. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

There is a gentleman server named Rudy (I believe) who is just the absolute best. He always keeps my drink refilled and checks on me without being overbearing. The food is really good. The pizzas I've tried are outstanding. I haven't tried any of the pasta dishes yet, but someday. During lunch on weekdays, they have a special where you get a half pizza and half salad (or other combinations like pasta). The portion sizes are very filling. On Rudy's recommendation tonight, I tried the olive oil cake. It was the star of the show. Don't let the name fool you. The ricotta, honey, and fig jam is a combination I didn't know I needed in my life. Overall, this is an excellent restaurant to try. It is my favorite Italian in OKC, and it is a must-stop for me when I'm in town.

The pizza was the roasted chicken & OH-EM-GEE!!! The flavors! THE FLAVORS were out of this world. It was too much for lunch so I had leftovers for dinner. The only downfall (for me) is the open atmosphere so convos were distracting when I was trying to hear others at my table when they were speaking. But that's a ME thing, not a them thing. It is beautiful inside and not overly done with "grandma's pizzeria" vibes but more trendy, upscale modern.
