I needed some parts for my car and i couldn't find it cheaper than $3,000 any where. I called American Imports and talked to Hooshi and he face me brand new OEM parts for toyota for $1,000 total. Wow. I couldn't be happier. He also found some mechanics to do the job for really cheap. Dealer quoted $10,000 to replace all the parts and with Hooshi's help i got it all done less than $1,800 total with labor for OEM PARTS. Hooshi explained to me that toyota get the same exact parts from china and put toyota stamp on it and sell it for 10 times more. If you want someone that really cares for you, check out American imports. I talked to the other gentleman that's behind the counter and he was super nice guy too. This review relates specifically to the Bay Area Quality Management District's voluntary vehicle "buy-back" program. We recently took advantage of this program through Environmental Engineering Studies, Inc. and American Imports. The first part of the process, which involved document preparation, was done by phone and email. We had a title issue to resolve, so it was not as fast as one might think, but Antoine was extremely helpful in guiding us every step of the way. Once that's all settled, the second stage involves bringing in one's vehicle for surrender. At this stage, we found Maryam and her husband to be extremely gracious. It felt more like dealing with old friends than a business transaction. In our case, it was actually not easy to say goodbye to our car of 30-plus years, so the compassion they demonstrated was also very much appreciated. We promptly received our check by mail, preceded by a helpful voicemail from Antoine about the envelope it would be arriving in and a reminder to mail in the transfer slip to the Sacramento DMV. I took my car there for repairs. The mechanic, Gary, took great care of my car and the cost was so much less than the other locations in the area. I've been taking my car and family cars there for the past 15 years. Gary really knows his work and he's always honest with me in regards to the necessary repairs, any potential issues that might come up in the near future if I don't get it fixed, and he thoroughly explained everything to me. The owner is really nice, but his mechanic made him loose a lot of customers. Never come back for reparing my car again, he fixed 4 times and the issue has not been solved. read more
