READ BEFORE PURCHASE, If you are looking to buy a vehicle here for personal use strongly do not recommend. These guys will try and get over on you. I had a bad experience with Mo. The first day we went to see the car we wanted he was nice obviously trying to make the sell. Since it was a Sunday, He insisted we sign for the car and the (Loan processing) will be later processed through there chosen bank preference. He pulled out a "contract" that had loan terms yet no loan was even finalized. Also I mentioned my credit union bank and he kept making excuses how their chosen bank is better. The next day I called him and said we changed our mind, (keeping in mind NO loan agreement was even settled to purchase vehicle) He quickly went from 100-0 with a high pitched voice and said "Do you know what a contract is you already signed one, you owe us the amount of the vehicle, don't you read contracts you sign." Instead of trying to make the situation work he went straight to "You signed a contract." Matt proceeds to tell us to come in and he will fix things. We went in and presented us other vehicle's and we still weren't satisfied most vehicles are extremely high mileage. Later on he states this is your last option and pulls out a truck from the back, which I though was weird they hide the "better" vehicles for specific individuals. I honestly thought this was presented to us as a final option because they just wanted close a deal with us. We proceeded in purchasing that vehicle the mileage was ok still not a satisfactory buy but at this point we were done mentally as well. We signed a "new" contract and went on. In the contract it stated an additional charge to them for DMV processing and he even reads it to you when signing. Till this day we still have NOT received the license plate and its been 5months. Sent an email to an email were they were quick to email me prior to purchasing vehicle and no response. This led me to right this review, I don't wish this experience on nobody. I want to trash these guys mercilessly but I would rather warn you that if you expect them to take care of something that they have promised you they would do, my experience is that they won't do it. Through absolutely no fault of my own, my title and registration were messed up because of a mistake they made. But that isn't the problem. Everyone makes mistakes. They asked me to write them a good review the day I bought the van. I do not write reviews until a transaction is finished. As a salesperson myself, I know that follow through is half the story. I bought the van in August '18. I never received the pink slip or registration through any effort of Direct Buy Motor. Call after call was made to the salesman, the money guy, the manager, I left at least 12 different messages on their answering machine. Each time (the times I got to speak with someone) I was told that someone would call me back or that they were working on it and that I should be patient. There never were any return phone calls. In order to demonstrate to me the nature of the problem, they sent me a text with a picture of the registration that was incorrectly filled out(which is the source of the 'problem'). My last call to them when I spoke with someone was in January '19. I was told the paperwork was on Matt's desk and that it could still take weeks to resolve, implying that the DMV and the banks were their only course of action. I was never mean or abusive. The glowing reviews here on Yelp are undoubtedly people who drove off the lot and didn't need any more from them. If however, Direct Buy Motor were to make a serious mistake in transacting your business and you need them to rectify the problem, DO NOT COUNT ON THEM TO DO SO, no matter what they tell you. It is March 2019 now and I still haven't heard from Matt or Mike or anyone from Direct Buy Motor. Buyer beware. The tags on my van had expired 3 months ago. Mo and his associates were wonderful. I purchased a 2019 Ford Transit 250 Ecoboost Turbo. It had the extra features I was looking for; partition cage behind the seats, no windows in the back, side step on the side slider door and grab bars to help climb into the van. There are a lot of vans out there but none of them met my criteria like this van. I drove from Pittsburg to San Jose. I was willing to drive to Modesto, Merced, Elk Grove and Sacramento to purchase a van. After the test drive I knew this was the perfect van for me. WoW!!!!! Man these guys really know what they're doing. I drove by and noticed a 2011 Lexus IS250 pearl white parked on the lot, I went in and inquired about it. Matt helped me out and showed me the car, I feel in love and just had too have it. The only problem was my credit. Man I just wanted a chance to prove I can par this car off, Matt said " buddy the credit is hard to work with and the banks don't want to risk it". I was really sad bit understood and knew he tried. 3 days later Matt called me and told me to hurry and come talk too him. I raced down at 8pm and Matt was there, " my friend I tried and hustled as much as I could and I got you approved for the lexus", I was So happy and shocked. Last December (2017) I was looking for a van for my business. Direct Buy has a great selection of vans and trucks. I purchased an E-250 from them in mid December 2017. Almost one month after the sale Glen wanted me to drive back from Oakland to sign a form he forgot to have me sign during the transaction. I asked him to mail it to me. I finally received the registration in the mail one week after the 90 day dealer registration expired. No license plate sticker was sent and I was driving on a 2017 sticker. I then started making weekly calls to Glen asking for the license plate sticker which he said was 'in the mail". It has been nearly five months since I purchased this vehicle from him and finally I went to the DMV and purchased the 2018 sticker on my own. These people cannot be trusted for their word. The workers are friendly. I when with my wife to but a ($22k-25k)work truck, and we have 700 credit point with $5000 dollars as a down payment. Furthermore; the guy run the credit and come back and said can you give $10,000 as a down payment? I told him no! Not posible. They when inside and takes 1 hour or more and i told the guys we need to go because we have another appoinment to go. Therefore; I ask them to call me. They call 24 hours later and said no?
