Unfortunately the…read moredrink selection for mixed drinks was very poor, only had 12 bottles total! mostly vodka from the looks of it and only one whiskey aka Jameson. Whiskey sour wasn't doable, bartender didn't even know what it was so my fiance got a vodka and cranberry. A double cost $6 and my soda was free (someone's gotta drive) Interesting crowd of what I assume were regulars. Definitely a dive bar with a dim lit interior of Christmas lights and a few ceiling fans. Music machine BLASTING. Good music playing and had a cheers tv show like atmosphere but with a smell of smoke in the air. Pool table and a dart board but you couldn't easily play both at once without being in each other's way. Glad we tried it once but not for us unfortunately based on mixed drink selection. Definitely a beer joint. And it's cash only but they have an atm. Had a drink and went on our way.

He was rude and drunk and I even saw him spit in a woman's face for no reason. When the lady next to the woman expressed concern about that a man claiming to be the owner said pretty much deal with it or get the fuck out. There were women offering prostitution services and dancing with their pants down. The bartender took 4 times to make a drink correct that had ingredients in it. This, in my opinion is not a safe bar to be in.

This place is perfect for the Sport's enthusiast as there are TV's on every wall pretty much, for fans to catch their favorite teams playing. There is also, a separate room off the bar area for large gatherings. Our waiter was warm and friendly. He took our order promptly.... we waited and waited for our food to come out. Mind you we ordered two sandwiches and a bowl of soup. The soup came out and again we waited. Unfortunately, all we got to try was the soup as we had an event we had to get to as our sandwiches when asked were not prepared. Sometimes things happen when you run a business and it is how you handle them that is the difference between just a restaurant and a great restaurant. This restaurant would earn five stars on just how things were handled. Kudos go to the staff there.... The French Onion soup we had for me was not my cup of tea as it was over seasoned and had way too many croutons which between the seasoning and bread overpowered the soup. My partner in crime thought it tasted OK and proceeded to devour the soup so will leave that up to you to decide LOL !!!!

Over the course of dinner, the place never really filled up. And as the evening went on, I found out why. I will say that the food was very good - we asked for the Clams Casino and the Mozzarella Wedge. Soup of the day was New England Clam Chowder, it was nice and thick and loaded with both potatoes and clams. Definitely one of the better ones I've had. Dinner was the BLI Burger, which my wife tells me was very good but no better than quite a few deli's in Syracuse. I ordered the Truffle Gnocci and Scallops, which was expensive for the portion I got - they tried to make it look bigger by serving it in a large bowl but no one was fooled. About 6 gnocci and 3 scallops with some mushroom risotto. Pathetic. Then came the coup de grace... two filet au poivre with the Lazy Surf and Turf. What does this really mean, you might ask? Well, instead of getting a lobster tail they pull the meat out and serve it in a bowl of butter for you. Hence, "lazy" - you don't have to do any work. And they charge exorbitantly for this service. So the price was $74 for the steak with an additional upcharge of $28 for the "lazy" lobster tail. One guest got the lobster tail, one didn't. Was it good? Yes. Was it worth the price? Absolutely not - I've been to Chicago and gotten a better, larger cut of steak for far less than this. So for dinner the bill came to a little over $300 (not including tip). Ridiculous to pay for 4 dinners and a few appetizers, especially when one of them was a burger and fries. I could have gone to the Grotto in North Syracuse, gotten bigger portions, better quality food and spent about half as much. As it stands, I won't be back - not because of the food quality or the service, but because the prices are far too much for far too little.

I was worried at first because they had live music, but it was far enough away that we could hear it faintly you were still able to have a great conversation and enjoy a great meal. The service was top-notch. Our meals came out in a timely manner, giving us enough time to enjoy each course after we die and we went to see the music. I definitely will be back and book a table closer to the music and enjoy a casual meal.

We started with chips and salsa and the salsa was extremely spicy. Our waitress didn't mention this before we ordered it and my entire party couldn't even eat it. I ordered the birria tacos and asked for coconut rice instead of yellow rice. My order came out and they gave me yellow rice and no consommé. Someone else in my party got coconut rice and I tried hers. It was cold and clumpy. (Definitely not like their old location, where everything was fresh and delicious). Another person in my party said her food was cold and mentioned it to our server. Our server told one of the other workers and he rudely replied "the food was hot when it came out". Unfortunately the owner wasn't there and she ran a tight ship at the previous location where I never had a bad experience.
