Talk about going ABOVE and BEYOND! First my phone conversations with Joe were very informative and he stayed true to his word. In fact he was able to procure a replacement key for my SUV so fast, I had to ask him to wait a day before coming over to program it! When David arrived the next day, he was very friendly and professional. He programmed my new key only to find out that the battery in my SUV was dead. Out of the goodness of his heart, David gave me a jump start! I let the vehicle idle for about 20 minutes and then took off to Walmart. Waited from 6:20-9pm for lockout service with an eta that changed three times! I could have called someone else had they just been upfront with me but instead they let me sit there with the wife and kids for almost three hours! My youngest managed to lock my keys in the truck so I called Usaa around 6:20 they contacted American Lock & Key for the service. Got a confirmation text at 6:30 for an eta of "within 90 mins". Called them for an eta at 7:45 for an update and they told me around 8:30! Called back at 8:30 then they told me 9pm! I was in the middle of a dreadful last minute situation on the multifamily property we managed that resulted in me not having keys to any of the units we needed access to the next morning. I was able to set up an appointment at 10:30pm for the next morning. They showed up right on time, got right to work, and were very thorough. They are super nice people and work very hard to solve the problem or do what needs to be done for the situation in the appropriate steps. Their pricing is very fair with a base price for travel (completely reasonable and expected), and then the services added on as needed (also a reasonable price). Very professional, reliable, and honest guys. I added them to our company's list of home vendors to refer to my clients should they ever need a locksmith. FYI, these guys go all the way down to the 56 freeway for work, and for a slightly higher fee south San Diego. Ended up creating keys for door locks I did not have the keys to, replacing a lock assembly on a garage, and making a few key copies on the fly. read more

They are honest and repaired only what was broken. My key would not turn in my honda, the other guys wanted to change the cylinder & entire ignition wiring, Joseph troubleshooted over the phone and found valet key works fine, so issue is the just a new key as it was worn.
