A new company that will get your stuff from point A to point B quickly and for a very competitively low price. I would use them again if I become single again but expect a few broken items, mis-assembled furniture, screws, washers, and nuts laying around. They expect you to claim all the broken items by the end of the moving day without any days to look at all your stuff and everyone is exhausted so that's not very fair. As a guy, didn't mind too much but my wife wasn't a big fan. A young company with lots of room to grow. The only reason why it was 2 stars is because of the price. Acted like we never called and scheduled when we did Friday and never answered my calls the morning of our move! The worst business!

My recent experience with MovingHelp.com, involving a move facilitated by "American Moving Alliance" on October 20, 2023, was nothing short of a disaster. The issues began right from the start as the movers arrived late, leaving me with a delayed and disorganized moving process. It's worth mentioning that the communication was abysmal. Attempting to coordinate with the movers was a frustrating ordeal, and they arrived unprepared, which added to the chaos. During the move, my expensive marble table was damaged, and the movers, instead of addressing the issue professionally, attempted to hide the damage. I only uncovered the extent of the damage when I arrived at the storage facility. The evidence, including photographs and messages from the movers, substantiated their involvement. Seeking resolution, I contacted MovingHelp.com and requested compensation for the repair or replacement of my valuable marble table. However, the compensation they offered was either free moving services for my next move (which I have little confidence in) or a $100 table. The catch is that my table is worth well over $500, rendering their offer wholly inadequate. (Note in the screenshots he said he'd replace the table then we talked on the phone after I sent him a table I wanted and he was like there's no way he'd be able to get me a table that was $350) I was willing to even take something not as expensive! Furthermore, the disappointing part was their lack of transparency in handling the incident. To date, my concerns remain unresolved, and I've had no satisfactory response. My hope is that this review will serve as a warning for others considering using MovingHelp.com. I strongly advise against it due to my experience with tardy movers, poor communication, and a total lack of accountability. Jessie and his partner, got to work immediately and worked diligently without breaks for 2 hours and got my small job done. They took good care of my heavy, large pieces of furniture (executive desk, credenza, receptionist work station / desk) by using blankets and wrapping them in cellophane. My only aggravation is that they showed up at 10:10AM when I was promised they would start at 8:00AM. read more

The guys communicated efficiently about setting an appointment prior to the move day and were very responsive. They were respectful throughout the whole process. We were moving my 91 year old mother from an assisted living facility that was closing. I called them mid September to move her October 4th. I talked with the owner and we set it all up. Come October 4th my mom called at 9 am and asked where they were they were they were supposed to be there by now. I found out they had called my sister who was coordinating the move and their truck had broken down. Instead of canceling the move they rented a UHaul and showed up less than a half hour late! The move went flawlessly everything was done under the estimate and quickly! My sister said they were incredibly nice and very professional. Would I use them again? Absolutely. To start! They arrived an hour before my move while I was still at work from home which caused me to hang up on a client, did not come with a truck even though I asked in the comments so I had to quickly get my own the same day! The movers Work from Guatemala, which is no problem other than the fact that I do not speak any Spanish.Somewhere unable to communicate the entire time?I have to literally get one of my friends from Puerto Rico to come over.Just your translate! They also were very sexual and innapropriate with me and even tried to handcuff me with handcuffs in my bedroom that they obviously did not need to touch since they knew they were only moving large furniture! I called the manager and he said he would talk to them and get back to me and never did! Even my friend translated some innapropriate things they were asking like if I had a boyfriend and for my number! This was the worst experience I have ever had!!!!! I Scheduled a move with American Moving Alliance through UHaul. The move was scheduled for 4pm. On the day of the move, the representative called to say that the crew was running behind and asked if I could give them another hour. I waited until 5pm and called the representative back. He then stated that the crew was still tied up with the client and that he would try to find a second crew. By the time he was able to find the second crew. My husband loaded the truck and secured other help. I informed the rep. that we could not wait any longer. In which he apologized for the inconvenience and that he would refund my money since his company was unable to perform the moving service. I contacted him three different times now, and I have yet to receive a return call or my money back for the move. This is a horrible way to do business. UHaul, should not allow themselves to be affiliated with a company that do not honor their agreements. read more

I am so incredibly happy that I chose this company for our move. Jose, Pedro and Edward were amazing! We had a FULL 4 br 2700sf one story house to squeeze into a 3 br 2300sf 2 story house. They were very efficient and didn't complain once, getting the job done within the 6 hours I scheduled, only going over by 20 min. So I purchased a piece of furniture through market place and I show up to pick it up and to my surprise it didn't fit in my suv! My bad :/ anyway it also turned out to be extremely heavy. Unfortunately I didn't have anyone to help me out, so I gave these guys a call. Man what a life saver! We set a time and they met me at the lady's house. The item had a glass door and they took the propor measures to make sure that it wasn't damaged in the move. We then met at my house to drop it off. They did enter my home wile I was alone and I didn't feel uncomfortable about it. I know many time this can be a issue for me, but they were super friendly and polite which was a huge plus for me! The price was reasonable and I will definitely be calling them again whenever I get a crazy idea to buy furniture off of Facebook market place! Lol read more

Please don't use American Moving Alliance. These guys aren't professional at all. My daughter and her husband, who is legally blind, booked them for an in town move. They stated they would be at my daughters apartment at 10:00 am. They called and said they would be there the following day at noon. At 1:00 pm they called and said they were in the car 10 minutes out. At 4:00 pm they still hadn't shown up. The supervisor, Marco, stopped answering his phone at 4:00 pm. Another guy, Ben, said that they would be at the apartment the following day at noon. They never showed. They stopped answering the phones for my daughter or me when I called from my phone. They had promised to cover the rental of the truck due to their not showing up. That didn't happen. We ended up spending $200 more dollars to get different movers to come. These guys are a joke. Don't hire them. Also, uhaul, who we booked them through didn't help in the least. Hire some friends or teenagers before you hire these ass hats. read more

Very unpleased from the start to the finish with this company. First I got a call to confirm my time at 9am! I was ready and waiting for 9am... nothing. Had to call to make sure they were still coming and then I was met with "oh it's between 9-10am. Still they didn't get there til 10:30! During this move I got a hole in my wall from this guy dropping my table down the stairs. They sent someone to fix the wall but had anyone addressed my broken table. No!!! Not to mention many items were left and I took their word that they got everything from upstairs.. not!! I have to get a friend to help me move left large items!! So what did I pay $800 for??? These guys also got my new mattress completely dirty. One of these guys took a crap in my bathroom and left the lights and vent on. They ate lunch on my time! They locked doors without me knowing it. After a lifetime of dealing with the nightmare of military contracted movers, I was more than a little hesitant to use any moving company, but with this summer heat and my work schedule I had to risk it. I heard about American Moving Alliance through another veteran friend and I took the chance. Ryan and his guys moved me from my old place to my new place and it was nothing but exceptional. They went above and beyond for my family and I couldn't be more thankful for them. Marco kept in communication with me up until the day of my move. You probably can't find more hard working movers than Jesse and Paul, and to my very pleasant surprise NOTHING was broken, any veteran out there knows the contracted movers ALWAYS break something, so I was very relieved to find all of my stuff in one piece. If I could give more stars I would because they absolutely deserve it. I will call Ryan and the guys everytime I need to move from now. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I scheduled 2 movers for 3 hours from the u-hail website, within a few hours a supervisor called me to get more information on my house size and what time I wanted the movers to arrive. I selected the morning and was told due to my location it would take them 30-40 minutes to get there and they would arrive between 9:30-10am. at 10:15am I called because no one has shown up and I hadn't heard from anyone, but was only able to leave a message. I called again at 10:30am to cancel my resevation because at this point we were almost done, and was only able to leave a message. I received a call at 11am staring they just finished their job and they would be on their way (30-45 minutes) so again I told them they were no longer needed. I have called 5 more times leaving a message and emailing twice without a response. I didn't receive any services and can't get anyone to return my calls. very disappointed and would not recommend. read more

Yes I have been they every box before I wrote the review. The boxes that weren't miss like my brand new 4cylinder weed eater. Commercial grade and very expensive. Still in the box on the TOP of my boxes I saw it that morning. No I packed everything but YOUR Team wrapped them. The shoe box with the Vodka I told them to leave. Yes I hid my ring under a very heavy dresser. Yes I forgot to get it out. It would of fallen out when They lifted it. They would of seen the huge bottle of vodka when they bent over to pick it up. Jackpot !!!!3 for one. I have not Asked or insinuated EVER I was asking for one Penny from your company. I will file a report . I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. Now with my coolers and my weed eater which I saw the day of my move there is no doubt in my mind where they are. Thank you for you service. You were not on my move. I'm a nurse and I don't lie and with 2 handicap children I treat all people the way I want to be treated.
