Followed my long time nail technician from another salon to this cute and stylish salon. They have about a thousand colors to choose from in gel and dip. They even recently got glow in the dark powder! They are fast and friendly! 10/10 would recommend!

Went in on a Thursday for a new full set. I showed the nail tech a picture on my phone of a pink & white ombré. I also asked for "coffin". Nail tech used only pink from the pink & white gel, and said that's how it's done, "it's not white, it's clear". It looks NOTHING like the picture I showed. Sunday, I notice the gel is bubbling, on every single nail, so I call and ask if I can come in to have that fixed, they tell me to come in to be assessed. I go in, nail tech tells me "that's just what happens when you use the pink gel only instead of a colored polish" and I said "but I didn't ask for this, I showed you the original photo and this is what you decided to do.." She tells me it'll be $10 charge (after already paying $45 and tipping $10, making it $55) to PAINT OVER the pink gel with a color.. and then I was pressured to leave a tip as well... What I left with.... Still not coffin. It's upsetting because just a few years ago I used to come to this salon with my friend and Tram always did an AMAZING JOB. But anyone else... we're similar results.

I've been seeing Nina for nearly 10 years and can't say enough good things about her and her work. You would be hard pressed to find a better nail artist anywhere let alone in Sacramento. Her attention to detail and compassion make me a regular and one that had followed her from salon to salon. Overall, American Nails has the best nail artists around. They have put together a team that is the best in the business. Highly recommend!

My coworker recommended me to Kristin and I'm so happy I gave her a try! I was able to make an appointment the same day and the minute I walked in, I was greeted & seated. The salon is fairly big and very nice inside. They have an endless amount of colors to choose from and this is really what had me excited! I loved that they had cat eye, chrome, pastels, reds, etc. all swatched. It was hard to choose a color but also, perfect for me to create a list of what I wanted during my next visit. LOL Kristin did my gel deluxe pedicure and she really took her time trimming and cleaning my cuticles. I have ingrown toe nails that really bother me and she took good care of those as well. The paint job was good and the massage was even better. I also had a full set done by a gentleman and he was finished in less than 45 minutes and my nails looked good! That's unheard of. The only complaint I really have, is that I chose a cat eye color and design but my nails didn't have much of the cat eye affect and the cat eye was at the end near my cuticle rather than the center of my nail. The staff were all really friendly and their prices are actually cheaper than surrounding salons. The location may seem a little suspicious but it's a great salon and I can't wait to be back! read more

My friend does my nails but I have always gone to another salon for my pedicures since 2012. I will drive to the other side of town and make 2 different appointments for nails and pedicures because I want specific nail techs for separate appointments. My favorite pedicure nail tech "Christine" has recently joined American Nails & Spa and I love the ambiance of this salon. The decor is bright and modern. I love the grey and white colors. The salon looks very clean and is pleasing to the eye. There is even a room with 2 pedicure chairs that is slightly separate from the other chairs . This room would be perfect for an appointment with my sister and besties. I'm glad I have followed Christine to this new salon. Christine is meticulous with cuticle care, the massage is heavenly and my polish is always clean. Some techs can't even clean up your cuticles or polish your nails evenly. I don't feel like I'm asking for to much when I don't want that I polished my own nails with my left hand look. I really enjoyed my deluxe pedicure with the volcano spa box upgrade. Yes that upgrade is worth it. I didn't feel rushed at this new salon and was able to really enjoy my pedicure. Do yourself a favor and give this salon a try. Ask for Christine but don't take my appointment! I know I'm not the only client that has followed her. read more

I am updating my review because I find myself coming back to this location time after time. I have now found a nail tech that I really like working with and she is super sweet and gentle: Hannah (Hana). I really appreciate that American Nails always squeezes me in and I rarely have to wait to be seen upon arrival. I suggest that you go in the mid-afternoon hours as it tends to be quieter then, so you can get your nice relaxing massage chair and pedicure action at the same time :) read more

I have been going to American nails on and off for 15 years. I recently could not get in and went to a friends daughter instead. She found that I had MMA on my nails which has been illegal since the 70's to use on nails. We also found in removing my toe nail polish that I had contracted nail fungus . I always believed they ran a clean and honest salon . I was very wrong. I have already filed a complaint with the board of barbering and cosmetology and would like all consumers to beware . read more

My bestfriend and I went into the salon this morning and it was a terrible experience. I showed them a picture of what I wanted ... and came out with something totally different. My nail technician also cut me with the drill bit and I was bleeding. She also added the wrong butterfly on one of my fingers. Their not matching. And then My bestfriend got a pedicure and her nail technician didn't tell her about the $10 extra for a gel pedi and didn't even talk to her. I was literally only 1 inch away and I didn't hear her nail technician Say anything. And then the nail technician was arguing with us saying that she did but she obviously did not. When you go here you are paying for atmosphere and not good quality!!! Highly recommend you pass by this salon! read more

I brought all my own supplies and stones and not only was it My birthday , they over charged me and messed up my designs and tried to make me pay $150 on something that should've been no more than $110 with both feet and hands. They change the price every time and my nails start popping off at week 2 !!! Never been so unsatisfied with this salon. They will try to give you a coupon instead of your money back . I will never spend my dime here again. Gone start going to the traveling nail artist because they care more !! read more

Honestly I used to really enjoy coming here. I started years ago with them and a 5star review, that changed to a 4,and now I'm just done with them. In short this is what has changed: - they overbook appointments so are always late. Ex: my appoint was at 4, it is now 440 and I still haven't been seated - they do not do designs - they are always talking so loud in such a small place - their card reader will broken and they don't warn you before the appointment - they don't respect your time and money Do yourself the favor and go somewhere else. Came to American nails for my friends birthday, staff was very friendly and my nails came out AMAZING I got a full set of ombré stiletto acrylic nails, the women I had worked very quickly (done in about 45 min) and they came out perfect! This salon provides all the latest nail trends like gel, metallic, ombré and even the new dip nails! The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because the price was a little up there, my regular place would charge 37$ compared to this nail salon that charged 50$. read more

It's extremely chill the second you go in and PERFECT when you want to relax after work! My manicure tech first told me she wouldn't cut down my nails shorter after I had asked her to which she responded "it'll look ugly". I understand for specific nail shapes like almond a specific length is required to achieve that look but not for square. I then told her about how my family owns nail shops and she proceeded to make a comment about how it's a chop shop based on its location. In any circumstance when is it ever appropriate to make that comment?? This salon is nice and it is on the pricier side but the service does not meet the price point. I had multiple witnesses as well who can attest to these comments since I went with my friends. My square shape also came out wide, bulky, and ugly. I had to refile and reshape themselves. I can't speak for everyone but that was my experience at Blush and I won't be back.

Yes I understand it's been awhile as well and inflation is a very real thing. I was excited to come back and Andy was sweet and did a great job. I just can't understand the pricing when at other places it's $40 for a pedicure and $35/40 for fills for the same services. There's no pricing online so maybe that's my fault for not asking ahead of time. Definitely feels like a bit of a rip off and I don't think I'll be back anymore unfortunately.

I made an appointment for 9:45am and was immediately greeted and seated at a pedicure station - I was also offered water too. I went with the Deluxe Pedicure which was $42 + extra for the Gel polish. The lady who did my pedicure was very friendly while taking her time - she did a great job! They're very personable at Monet Spa which I also like - the owner remembered my name and that I'm married and have a daughter. The staff is always so grateful to see you back too! Overall, I'm glad I decided to come back and give them another chance. This is definitely my new favorite nail salon!

This man is amazing!!! My poor ratchet feet have not been touched and almost 8 months and he did some work on them like brand new skin. So if you need a manicure, a pedicure, microdermabrasion, facials, waxing, they do the whole shebang!!! I mean eyebrow tint, eyelash extensions everything!!! This place is so professional. They are the BEST Nail salon I've experienced in a while. For a while I've been only to two nail shops in Sacramento that I go to all the time since I was fourteen I'm now 48 and this place was an awesome experience. I had a pedicure and had my nails done. I was recommended by a friend to this location about few months ago. nice staff, clean, friendly. Kim is good what she does. Hahn is also good with designs if you have to provide your own. Both are great. Price is reasonable. I know people have their own opinions on other's review so far with my experience I had no issues. IM happy that I found a nail place that is awesome. Hannah is the best ! My first time here and she's cracking my toes!!!! Omfgg I'm so happy! I've never had my pedicure lady crack my toes. Omfg she's stellar. She even gave me a foot massage and that' never happens even when I get the upgraded version. She really really outdid herself. I would recommended her over and over again. Thank you so much. I have been here twice and been able to get in same day which is important to me. Kim has done a wonderful job on my nails. First time I got the silk wrap and the second time I did the dip powder with gel polish. Both have looked wonderful. Kim put beautiful snowflakes on my red nails for a holiday party. I love coming here to see Kim she always does a great job on my nails and eyebrows. They have a great selection of gel nail polish.
