Yesterday was a very bad day! i can say that Steve showed up and was very patient and understanding while I was trying to work through some details with my insuranc! come to find out State Far Insurance only covers up to 16 miles per tow! I was 143 miles from home!! So we dropped it off at the Nissan Dealership Gate and my awesome daughter in law drove an hr to pick me up! Today I found out that my Transmission went out! I scheduled an appointment for a tow with a flatbed for an 82 Cadillac. They were late but called me so that was good. They were a bit more expensive than other places but they also went above and beyond for me. Was assigned Amery RTS as the vendor for my Roadside assistance towing from my insurance company. The initial ETA they provided me was 18-23mins... Almost 2 hours later, after MULTIPLE ignored calls from myself & my insurance company the RSA was transferred to another company due to American RTA lack of communication/commitment. I am all for supporting small businesses but when you leave me & my 2children on the side of the road for almost 2hours after you started you would be here, you leave me no choice but to inform the public of your lack of business commitment skills!! My mother recently passed away and my father wanted to donate their car to KLRN. The auction company assigned American RTS to tow the car. I called to schedule a pickup and right away, Marcus was a bit rude. I thought it was strange but then he scheduled a pickup for the afternoon. I gave him my father's number and the gate code. Marcus never showed. I called this morning and Marcus said he got busy and would go get it today. He then got even ruder to me so I pointed that out. He proceeded to tell me they don't need it, they have plenty of cars broken down on the roadside and they don't need to worry about cars sitting at home. When I said I was confused, he said, "Thank you, Miss California" and hung up on me. So, I guess he didn't like the fact that my cellphone number is from California and that's why he was so rude. It's not a great way to do business. If Marcus had picked up my father's car, he would have seen the USMC decal in the back and maybe he and my father could have talked about their time in the Corps. Or maybe Marcus would have just been rude to my grieving father. read more

We got a flat tire on the side of the road in New Braunfels and were already waiting hours for a tow truck provided by the insurance. We were just visiting Austin/ SA for July 4th weekend and needed to get back to Houston but didn't know the area very well. It was getting close to 5pm, so we needed to find a tow truck immediately to make it to discount tire before they closed at 6pm. Thankfully I found American RTS on google. I called Marcus and he answered right away and was there within 15 minutes. I felt comfortable immediately after meeting Marcus. He was so quick and efficient, and he was very friendly and took care of everything. Marcus was such a blessing and turned a very stressful situation around. I was driving home to Austin last night when I realized I had a flat. I was stuck in San Marcos at 12:30am and called for roadside assistance. Got in contact with American RTS and they came to the rescue within 20 minutes. Marcus (the owner) was the one who came out to change my flat. He was super nice and even taught me how to change my tire, since I have never experienced this before. He was extremely helpful and got me on my way in only 15 minutes. Definitely a blessing. About 30 minutes after phone call Marcus from American towing company was at my location in Canyon Lake . He was very professional and kind. He knew his job and pulled my truck out from off road without any damage to my car. His fee is way less than other towing companies I called before calling American RTS Towing company.
