I am so thankful that she was able to help me get that taken care of even though the store was busy and I was extremely embarrassed (just my personality - the staff was great). I specifically asked if it would all fit and if they would make multiple trips. I was quoted a price for six hours including tax. They did bring most of the large, heavy stuff but took NONE of the boxes. Now I am left to empty half of a 10x25 unit in MANY trips in my car. Not only that, but one of the movers spent a lot of time trying to get out a splinter (using tweezers that I offered) and using the bathroom and the other guy stood around waiting for him. This caused me to be charged for an extra hour. I'm grateful for what they did, but it wasn't as much as I was expecting. I'm older and on a limited budget so I went with the lower priced option because she said they would handle it, but they didn't and now my arthritic knees and back are paying for it.

Unfortunately for Me, Pattie retired, & this business evidently is now under new ownership & has REALLY gone DOWNHILL fast. I recently bought a couple of vintage auto parts on eBay. Sadly, they wouldn't fit, necessitating My returning them for a refund. eBay emailed Me a "QR code". When I saw "FedEx" listed as the carrier I needed to use to ship the parts back I cringed, since anything & everything remotely related to this pitiful "carrier" always seems to end up complicated, a huge hassle, & a gigantic nightmare. Having no other viable options at the moment, I grudgingly drove to the "Postal Center" so they could scan the QR code, print a label, & ship the package out for Me. Well, FedEx "came through" for Me once again, right on cue. The "clerk" on duty matter-of-factly informed Me that the Postal Center is "no longer scanning FedEx QR codes". I really thought She was kidding! They advertise themselves as a "full service center", are considered a FedEx drop-off location, & they can't/won't scan QR codes? Preposterous!!!!! A wasted trip, & in case this clerk hasn't noticed, gas prices (like FedEx rates), are in the stratosphere. She could care less. This "clerk" was about as useless as power windows in a submarine. No apologies, no recommendation(s) of what My options are, etc. I asked Her WHY they won't scan QR codes She informed Me that "We don't have the necessary equipment to scan QR codes". REALLY??? I suggested that it might be good business practice for Them to INVEST in a scanning machine, seeing that They're supposedly a "FedEx full-service location". DUH!!! That suggestion also fell on deaf ears. I informed Her that I was finished doing any business with "The Postal Center"...She could care less about this also. Quite the "attitude"! On My own, I searched the internet & quickly found that Walgreens in Millbury handles the shipping of FedEx packages. I called Them & when I told the clerk the story about The Postal Center not being able to scan FedEx QR codes, She too thought I was joking!!! She had never heard of anything so ridiculous! So, I drove to Millbury. She (Karen) was very nice & helpful (unlike the DUDS at The Postal Center!!) Within 3 minutes She had the QR code scanned, the shipping label affixed, & the package was on its way! Now THAT's the way to do business!!! So whatever You do, DON'T EVEN CONSIDER using The Postal Center for anything since They're as useless as FedEx, I'm spreading the word far & wide, with the hopes that this pitiful excuse for a "business" will go the route of "Spirit Airlines", along with FedEx, and cease to exist. We paid for the service and the insurance, yet all they do is ignore the delays, the broken items, and the damage they caused. We left voicemails, emailed multiple times, and submitted messages through the portal's help section, and still nothing. At this point, we need to escalate this because almost everything they moved or stored came back lost, broken, or damaged. We're not letting them get away with this.

Then came the price hikes. After paying just one actual month (since March and April were "free"), I received notice that my unit was jumping from $123 to $173 ($187 after tax). When I called, I was told it's in the lease: the price can change anytime, and it will never go back down. Classic bait-and-switch. To be fair, the district manager, Christopher Delgado, did reach out after my first review. He explained it was an "automatic increase" and adjusted my rent back to the original price, assuring me it wouldn't rise again "for some time." That "some time" turned out to be four months. By October 2025, my rent is going up another $50/month--an extra $600 per year, if it doesn't climb higher. So in just seven months of renting here, I've dealt with unreliable facilities, poor customer service, and constant rent hikes. In this economy, it feels exploitative. Take this as a heads-up: this is not a storage company I'd recommend to friends, family, or anyone trying to budget responsibly.

There was also over a year period where the outer gate to the main road remained open 24/7 because it was broken and the were "waiting for parts". Only benefit of this place is ease of rental and use everything else including price and customer service is bad.
