AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!! READ FIRST. I was going to drop off my car for alignment at this place but they're not open until 8 I guess. I can't take a business serious that doesn't open their doors early for customers that have to work. I'll be going somewhere else. They had yelp take down my first post because I gave them 1 star. I gave them 5 stars so people can see the post. I'd give them 0 stars if I could. I rated the low and they had yelp take down the review the two days later. Since I put 5 stars, my post has stayed up and it says the same exact thing. Find someplace else. It's funny how they replied to my post. You can tell it's computer generated. I have had 4 of my vehicles get new tires put on them. The prices are good and the staff is very polite, professional and quick. I like leaving my vehicles here, because I can trust them. In the past, Ive bought tires for two trucks. I had no issues with these installations. My wifes car called for a higher grade tire, so I had requested it. They ordered the tires and they came in fairly quick. Again, easy process. My compact car was even easier for them. I was there at opening time and out very quick. The guys here are very informative and knowledgeable. They explain and show things like alignments to you, where as other companies just say you need it. They offer tire repair and rotation at no charge. Very happy with this! I have returned here for good reasons and will continue to do so. read more

I scheduled an appointment through Yelp messages because I know they've been super busy these last few weeks. It was common sense to me that your appointment time means you get seen within that hour. Spent an hour shopping at Walmart came back and hadn't been loaded. I overheard the owner telling someone they'd get her car in ASAP but next time she needed an appointment. A little annoyed they loaded her before me I left again to eat, came back 45 minutes later and still hadn't been loaded. I asked and was told I was next and it would be about 45-1hr. I had already been there two hours with my two year old and she was getting agitated so I asked for my keys and let them know I was leaving. The first guy at the front desk was extremely friendly but the second guy (I assume the owner the way he talked) was a bit rude with an attitude when I asked for my keys. I won't be coming back to this location but I will find another Tire Depot to buy tires from because the price was affordable. read more

Customer service was great, but I got a flat on a Saturday, called and they said the could get me in at 1:30. I called at 1 to confirm and the guy said his machine was broken, so I had to reschedule for Tuesday. Come Tuesday, they called again and said their machine was broken again, so they wanted to reschedule for Thursday. I ended up just going somewhere else. read more

Stay far far away from this place. Let me tell you about my experience. Problem number one. They changed the wrong tire, but I understand people can make mistakes, so I let them correct this. When I returned, one of the mechanics informed me that my tire pressure sensor was crumbling and that he replaced it for free. Problem now was that they had difficulty syncing the computer to their "new" sensor. They told me to drive it home and that it would reset. It didn't. I returned the following day and was told to follow up at the Blackstone location. Well, half my day wasted later, they were also unable to sync it. Now, I was referred to the dealer. The car was taken to the dealer the next day and after spending half a day with them, they gave me the car back stating they did not know how to resolve the issue. Great, back to American. I now had the pleasure of speaking with Edward, the manager (who hired this condescending prick?) who likes to put blame on everyone but himself. I even had the pleasure of watching him yell at his staff in front of customers and talk negatively about a customer who didn't want to spend 2000.00 dollars on auto repairs as the customer walked away. The final fix was taking my Lexus back to the dealership (total 3 times) and having them put on a Lexus TPMS sensor (per my request) and bam. Works! What's funny is that the mechanic at American Tire tells me the sensor was crumbling when he changed the tire, but I know how easy these things break if the tire change is mishandled. Worked perfectly before and nobody gives stuff for "free." 250.00 later (price of one tire that I purchased from American), I felt they were responsible for this charge. I was told by Edward that he would contact me within 4 weeks. I gave him 6 weeks. He has now dodged my calls and not returned my calls twice, so now corporate will hear my extended version and I hope any potential customers of this place will look elsewhere because if you find yourself in a complicated issue with this location, don't expect any resolve. Oh and Edward. I'm also a manager of a local business, and I can tell you that I wouldn't hire you even as a staff member. Poor attitude, no leadership qualities, as evident by some of these other reviews here. read more

Do not do business with American tire depot especially the Clovis store. After years of giving them my business and spending thousands of dollars at this store they have done nothing but lie cheat and steal from me. Recently the store managers have been crooks doing things like charging me for tire replacement plan then when i needed them to replace the tire they would not replace the tire. They have over charged me and also told me that I had to have work like turning rotors or replacing parts that aren't broken. If the corporation cared about long time customers they would help them instead of steal from them. What ever you do go any where else to get work done on your cars and never buy their tire road hazard protection plan it is a ripoff. I have now called the so called owner of the store as per his request and after three calls and messages left and a fourth attempt for contact via yelp the owner has not even bothered to return calls or yelp message. This just goes to show everyone how sad this store and the company have become to not even bother to contact a client after the owner himself requested I contact him. They just don't care about us and are more than happy to take your money but never give you the customer service you paid for. Again I warn everyone that has or is thinking of shopping at this store do not spend a penny with this group of rip-off artists you will always be sorry you did. read more

Not good experience. Got there few minutes before 8 am. Saw mechanics waiting by their cars to get in also. Finally about 8:20 or so the guy with key walks up, opens door and disappears to back room. Not one word to me or other customers waiting by door. Mechanics go do something at front desk (clock in possibly?). Front desk person still stays hidden so finally another customer opens back door asking if someone could help us? Finally guy comes to front, find out his name is Jacob. Jacob is very unprofessional. I had my rear rotors changed out and front brakes installed along with an alignment. With the money I paid just for services because I provided my own parts was pricey. Took about 2hrs to service my car. I left the store and noticed my front tires were making a knocking sound every time I braked. Called the store and the front desk employee told me it can happen when my rotors get resurfaced and to give it a day or two. Two days go by and the sound is getting louder. I have small children and did not feel safe to drive it. I take it back and now I've got another issue that will dig into my savings. They tell me it's okay to drive out of town (because I expressed the concern about making it to my destination) but no, I opted for a rental instead. No way did my car sound or feel safe to drive. I'm not taking it back to this place because my car sounded just fine until I took it in and now I've got a whole other issue that will cost me more $$$. Never have I received better service from a car related shop .. I noticed yesterday my tire was low so after work around 2 went in and they informed me that they didn't have time to repair my tire that day ( which kinda threw me at first I understand now why they are so busy they take great care of the costumer) but would put air in it and recommended that I come back first thing in the morning but if it was a slow leak I would be ok to check the air and come back in a few days and then this morning my tire wasn't a slow leak came in first thing this morning they really helped me get my tire taking care of and me on my way so I would t be too late to work and I am/was super appreciative. I had to get new tires and was finding a hard time for some reliable prices but they give me the lowest of 545$ compared to the 700$ one I was getting offered elsewhere. Additionally they pointed out an issue with my car that I had previously known about and gave me a sweet deal 200$ less than what I was quoted by my personally mechanic. After finishing a tire rotation for someone who got there after me with no appointment, I Checked in with the guy at the front counter. He told me there was someone ahead of me and "forgot" and would not be able to start on my truck until 12:00pm. What's the point of scheduling an appointment? One of tires picked up a nail and started leaking air at an alarming rate. Luckily I made it to this place before the tire went completely flat. It was almost closing time, so they kept the Mini INSIDE their shop overnight. I was satisfied already. They honored their road hazard warranty and repaired my tire at no charge! read more

When I think security, safety & reliability for me and my family the first company that's comes to mine is American Tire Depot from Raul, Angel & Noah all the way down the ladder to the tire guy they made me feel safe and secure for the last 11 years since I've been a customer of them were there with a small problem or big problem I've taken care of it and always been an honorable shop that does honest work I am moved from Madera to Fresno 11 years ago and I was very skeptical on who to take my vehicle to because there's so many shops you can't rely on. I never got that impression with America's tire depot. They've always been very understanding and very happy to help me to where I preferred my daughter as well as my son over there as well. I think we're mouth is very important in this world because if you have a bad experience with somebody chances are, you're gonna tell everybody you know, on the flipside if you have a great experience with a company or somebody you're gonna tell everybody you know, I just want to say thank you to American tire depot for management to the staff.
