I needed a full synthetic oil change for my BMW and I called around and found that at Big O Tires in Bermuda Dunes they were offering it for $54.99 on sale which was good because everywhere else I called started at $89 and up. It was nice to save some money but what happened next was amazing , and in 30 years of taking my cars for tune ups , oil changes , tires etc I've never experienced honesty, integrity and customer service like I did with Albert ( who let me drop my car off at 7:45 am 15 minutes before opening ) Issac & Peter. Soon after picking up my car I noticed that there were warning lights that hadn't been there before and the car was running rough. I called the shop abd Albert told me to bring it back in for a look. He called me a couple of hours later to tell me that the oil filter / canister from the manufacturer was defective , and told me that they were going to have to keep it overnight to properly diagnose the new issues. I spoke to Peter the following day and he explained in detail and also reiterated what Albert had said the day before. He told me not to worry because as he put it " We've got you covered 100%". They could have easily not taken responsibility and simply said that it wasn't their problem. It was the exact opposite. When I explained that we are a one car family & that we had appointments scheduled that day & the next day , Peter told me to rent a car and keep all my Uber receipts so that they could reimburse me after they fixed the car. I have had many horrible experiences dealing with auto repair facilities but these guys at "Big O" in Bermuda Dunes not only took All the stress out of the situation for me, they covered my transportation expenses while they were diagnosing and fixing the problem. They were very thorough and even kept it overnight a second & third time to make sure that everything was running smoothly the next day before calling me to tell me it's fixed and ready for pickup. When I picked it up Issac helped me with checking out and went over all of the details with me before handing me my keys. I was an America's Tire & Jiffy Lube customer for many years but I am now a Big O Tire customer for good ! The staff and Management at this Bermuda Dunes "Big O"location went way above and beyond anything I would have expected and I am very grateful to all of them for their honesty , professionalism and Excellent customer service ! I had an excellent experience (as I always do) at this Big O. Isaac, Albert, Anthony and Peter are always exceptionally helpful, and this time was no different. I have a very busy work schedule and they always take excellent care of all my personal and work vehicles. I have been coming to this Big O for almost 10 years and I have never had a single negative experience or complaint. All of the technicians/mechanics (especially Juan) and upfront personnel always go out of their way to make sure the customer is satisfied and happy with the work they perform, which is always top-notch, very professional, friendly and accommodating, which is why I will always keep coming back to have them service all of my vehicles (personal and company vehicles). On this particular visit (actually multiple visits), I brought in three work trucks and personal car, and Isaac got all four of them finished quickly, but didn't rush the work and make certain that I was 100% happy with the service/work, which I of course was, as always. Isaac made sure to go over every issue they fixed and got all new sets of tires put on (the exact all-terrain tires I wanted). They are never pushy or try to push you on a particular product. They only give you their professional advice and always give you the best possible price and top quality product. I honestly cannot think of one negative thing to say about this Big O location. After over a decade coming here, I have had nothing but excellent experiences and walked out 100% happy and satisfied with the service provided and products installed. I've even brought them products/issues not generally under their normal scope of work/services, and they have never turned me away or told me "we can't do that." These guys seriously know their stuff and will treat you like a VIP customer, regardless if it's your first time in or if you've been going there for years, everybody is treated equally, fairly and professionally. I had an extremely frustrating experience with Big O Tires in Bermuda Dunes, CA, and I wouldn't recommend their services. On July 1, 2024, I brought in my 2015 Range Rover Sport because of a "Low Coolant" warning light. Initially, they quoted me $850 to replace the water pump. Later that day, they claimed additional repairs were needed, raising the cost to a shocking $3,800. When I expressed my concerns about the price jump, they made me feel like I had no choice but to pay or have my car towed elsewhere because it would be inoperable. They eventually reduced the cost to $2,100 but never explained why. The entire repair process was a nightmare of delays and poor communication. Despite them assuring me the vehicle was repaired and safe to drive, as confirmed in a voicemail I still have, the next morning, my car started emitting smoke and steam from the exhaust and broke down. When I called Big O Tires, they instructed me to bring the car back, which I had to do via tow truck. At no point was I informed of a possible blown head gasket, even though they had noted it in their paperwork. This oversight led to further damage and left my car completely inoperable. To make matters worse, since returning on July 12th, our vehicle has been left sitting unsecured in their parking lot, day and night. Despite my repeated requests for them to keep the $2,100 and use it to fix the car, Big O Tires decided on August 9 to issue a refund check and mail it to my home. Now, they're demanding I pick up the car, which is still not drivable. They've ignored all my emails and requests to communicate with me via email, which adds to the frustration. In short, this shop lacks transparency, communication, and basic customer service. Their failure to properly repair my vehicle has caused significant inconvenience and financial strain. Save yourself the headache--take your car somewhere else. And don't believe their response to reviews. Their response here was the same as their response on my Google Review and they do not respond to me when I contact them as directed in their response. They have no intention of addressing or resolving the issue. read more

I paid $236 for an oil change. I took advantage of their $59.99 special that included "complimentary tire rotation and check brakes, alignment, belts, etc". I informed them that I have an "check suspension" light on. I was told that would require an additional $155 to diagnose it. When the oil change was done, I asked if the tires were rotated. I was told "You stated you did not want your tires rotated." I absolutely did not state I didn't want the tires rotated. The whole reason I went there was because of their $59.99 special that INCLUDED free tire rotation. The reply was "well, your tires look new anyways." After they did the $155 "diagnostics", I was told that the "check suspension" light was on because my front struts and back shocks were leaking and it would roughly cost "about $4500 to replace and repair." So my oil change costed me $236. BTW, they said I could apply the $155 to the roughly $4500 repair. I went to another repair shop and they stated it's very easy to see that struts or shocks are leaking. Had they rotated your tires and did any sort of suspension check (like it states in the $59.99 special), they could easily see the leak without any kind of diagnostics. The repairman was surprised that I was charged $155 for such an easy, visual inspection. I bought the front struts and back shots for $1300 and got them installed for $879 from this other repair shop. Bottom line? Big O ripped me off. read more

For all to know I want to say I've had the greatest experience with Big o tires today. Starting off with a flat tire on a heavy duty trailer on the freeway. It's not a normal size tire it's a 16-in which most places don't have in stock ready to go. Did I mention this was a Sunday. 6:30 in the morning. Not too fun to get a blowout but we made it into town ( Palm springs ) . Not knowing where to go popping up Google and finding anybody open. I was lucky to find a Big O tires about to open and a nice employee still in his car came out and knew that he didn't have it in stock but referred me to the next shop down the road on 42098 Washington Street Bermuda dunes California . Long story short even before they were open a great employee Kyle stepped up asked me if I needed any help before they are about to open. He he came out looked at my tire went to his associate Albert maciel and together they pulled my tire off and I was back on the road and probably 30 minutes. But appearance in cleanliness of their business and even being on a Sunday the employees were happy to greet I couldn't have had a better experience. Initially I took my car to Toyota to get serviced and was told i needed a new tire, because it had a screw in it and it wasn't repairable. I decided to obtain a second opinion. Because my tires were still new, 6 months since I purchased them. My go to is Americas Tires, but the wait is always so long! So i thought to try something new. So i took my car in to Big O Tires and purchased the tire in case it needed to be replaced. First i have to mention their customer service is excellent. Albert helped me and he explained everything in detail. When finished they called me about 30 minutes later that my car was ready and my tire only needed to be repaired. They credited my account and i only paid for the repair. They are honest and helpful. I was very pleased! They've gained a lifetime customer. Highly recommend this place! read more

What started off as a headache turned into a very good customer service experience. They filled the tire again and I went home. Tire was near flat in the AM so had to call AAA to fill it and I headed back. Anthony was so nice, took my fob and said they would text me when it was ready for pick up. An hour and a half later I received a text. I was able to leave my car there until the afternoon. Our car had a flat tire on I10 on the way to Riverside, CA from Phoenix. Our grandson who was traveling ahead of us turned around and put our small spare tire on, but we knew it wasn't wise to continue traveling without replacing the regular size tire. After calling several tire stores and finding that most don't care our size tire, we reached Big O Tires and talked to Jose at the store in Bermuda Dunes, California. He was so nice and told us to come in. Since they knew we were traveling, they moved our car ahead of others to replace the tire. We ended up buying 2 new tires since the 2 rear tires were original to our 2016 GMC Terrain. We were back on the road again within an hour. I left to have breakfast in 45 minutes I got a text that the car was ready! I couldn't believe it great service great job GREAT store. The manager Peter was outstanding can't wait to go back for tires! I came back to get a set of tires and the same GREAT service and team spirit I experienced the first time I was there getting my oil changed. I dropped my car off after talking to Peter the manager about what tire to put on the car. I went grocery shopping and one hour later I got a text that my car was ready. Peter Hernandez the Mgr will always work with you to secure the best deal and Albert Maciel in sales will call you to explain any problems that may arise and calls when he says he will. I price shopped America's Ties, Costco and Firestone and was able to save $150 on a set of 4 Michellin Tires at Big O. They are the friendliest, most courteous and professional Tire Dealership in the Coachella Valley. While the outstanding service and well kept facility had a great deal to do with my satisfaction, the personal attention the staff gave to me made purchasing tires easy and was much appreciated. I'm so grateful I got my tires here! I got my tires here a while back and today when I got out of the store I noticed my tire pressure was low on one of my tires. I was stressing since I was working and buying supplies for the office. I remember i bought them with Big O Tires so I called them. Isaac helped me. Let me know that since I got them there they would be able to fix it at no cost. My tire pressure was at 22. Luckily I was close enough and made it. Within less than 30 minutes Isaac and the team here fix my car and I was able to continue working! The team acted quickly! I'm posting a picture of what my tire had to cause the low pressure. I had a nail in my tire so went to Big O. Alberto is outstanding-- he has a great attitude and makes everyone feel special. It is so hard to find good customer service these days but Alberto nailed it. (Pun intended.) I did my research online and found out the tires he recommended are moderately priced but are better than top of the line tires. He didn't try to upsell me and just found me the best tires. (I ended up repairing the new tire with the nail but replacing two tires that were old and about to blow.) I had an appointment I needed to get to so he made sure all the work, plus an oil change, were completed in time. I won't go to any place but Big O now. I also had a special request for the tech who replaced my tire not to put the windows down because I had just gotten them tinted and Jordan mentioned that they remembered not to put my windows down. My overall experience from (Steve?) who I believe was my initial contact person was so professional and to ensure I'm not making a mistake on giving a shout out to the correct person, it was definitely the tech who was training Jordan.
