I certainly did not have the same experience as many others say here. But here's my story: I am a college student in the area. I looked for my parked car the other night and it was nowhere in sight. I went through all the calls my school's police, Worcester police, but no avail. I call Boulevard and they gave me the information I needed my car was involved in a hit and run that also involved another car. Worcester police hadn't even written the report yet and Boulevard at least told me the minimal details of what had happened. Anyway since the car is not registered under me, my father called. The car was hit and totaled to what we believe was an impaired driver. The wheels were broken off and it was driven up into the sidewalk. We were not available at the time. Boulevard handles the situation wonderfully. They worked with us and the Worcester police department to resolve the issue. They also helped with the insurance company storage and all towing. The folks in the office, the folks on second shift were of invaluable help. They even went as far as having a mechanic help us remove a frozen on license plate so we could return to the DMV. The service that Boulevard provided far exceeded my expectations. read more

They towed two of my cars in my own community parking when they weren't supposed to because on my contract it says that if you do not have to move your car if you leave it on the visitors side. They did the snow removal for the management company and decided to tow our cars for no reason, only because they wanted to make profit fr the expensive cars. Horrible 0 stars. I wish I could give this place zero stars. We got our car towed in Worcester. The police told me point-blank that this company are nothing but sharks they wait around looking to tow people. Not only did they tow my vehicle while we were watching a Christmas Carol, They did damage my vehicle when they towed it. When I arrived at the garage to pick up my vehicle, they were five guys in the room standing around in the entire place smelt like pot. So obviously, they were all in there smoking weed while they were working. Made a phone call about an incident that happened to my car while it was towed. When I was trying to explain the situation the guy freaked out cussing and wicked rude and I ended up not being who he thought it was. I went down to their station to talk in person so try to resolve the issue. Jon was very polite about everything BUT your mechanic there is a double bag for freaking out and being a dick infront of my kids especially when I was calm and collected and trying to be an adult about the situation. I had to call not because I had my vehicle towed but was calling on behalf of the rental company wanting to retrieve their vehicle. I was calling in a professional capacity and always conducted myself in that way. i never raised my voice at all. Unfortunately, the person who answered the phone was incredibly rude wanting to know why we kept calling for the same thing. Pretty much yelling at me. I'm a big believer that you should treat everyone as a potential customer. We use tow companies A Lot and I can say with all confidence I will NEVER use this company or recommend it. I will pay extra to use a more professional company. I have my go-to companies that are awesome. You don't treat people that way. Completely unprofessional, but what's even worse, nasty for no reason. If I could give negative stars, I would. If I could give zero stars, I would. I work as an in-home service provider for children with special needs. I have a client who lives in an apartment that apparently has a contract with Boulevard Towing, but the towing company appears to be predatory. A few weeks ago, I arrived for my first meeting with the client and couldn't find parking. I rolled down my window as one of the tow trucks was approaching, and asked the driver where I should park. He pointed to a spot and told me it was okay to park there. I was anxious because my client's mother had warned me that the tow truck company was predatory and I asked the driver if he was sure I could park there because I didn't want to get towed. He said I wouldn't get towed. I parked there. No problems. When the staff working under me arrived the next week, I directed her to park there too. No problems. I parked there today and was towed. It cost $145 to get my car back. I told the man working at the front desk what happened, and he told me it made no sense. I agreed with him and explained that I was upset because it made no sense at all and I have to visit the apartment complex every week for work. He then told me that I must have misunderstood the other driver, but I know I didn't misunderstand someone pointing directly to the spot where he said I could park. Fortunately, my company is going to reimburse me for the tow; however, Boulevard Towing should be investigated for unethical practices. read more

Just now as I was dropping off my elderly mother at her elderly apartment complex I encountered a Boulevard Towing driver. As I was opening the door for my elderly mother so she could exit my vehicle this tow truck driver sped by me in the parking lot yelling something about the fact that I shouldn't be parked there. I thought this was strange since I was obviously letting my elderly mother out of the car, but I paid it no mind because really who would. Moments later the same tow truck driver circled back around yelling that he would tow me if I did not move my car. As my mother was still exiting the car I chose to further ignore him at which point he began to lower his forks and back up towards my vehicle. With my mother now safely out of the car I had to quickly close the door, get back into my car, and pull away as the driver continued to try to hook my car creating a very unsafe situation for all involved. The tow truck driver then exited his vehicle yelling profanities and assuming a threatening hands raised posture. Not being the kind of person who gets into fights with anybody at all, especially those seeming to have serious mental health problems, I ignored this sad and very rotund man and drove away. I thought that that should be the end of it. I was wrong. This tow truck driver decided the best course of action at this point would be to follow me for the next 10 miles in an unsafe manner. I have never dealt with Boulevard tow truck company, And now I hope to never again unless they contact me with an apology and the assurance that this person has been terminated. I will be contacting their management in the morning when they open in order to facilitate this. Should they choose to not remedy the issue I will then contact the management of the apartment complex where my elderly mother resides to let them know the tow truck company that they employ to keep their promises secure feels comfortable hiring a person who threatens violence and operates his vehicle in an incredibly unsafe way especially considering the nature and the frailty of some of the people who may be in the area. When told the guy up front (who turned out to be the owner) about the situation he called me all type of names and and said that my kind of people are ignorant stupid and don't know what we talk about. I can honestly say this is one of the worst business I have ever encountered. I wish I could give them zero stars. My car died and my insurance company assigned them for my tow, trust me I wouldn't chose them willingly. I called them after 30 minutes to ask how long, they said one hour, mind you I told them I was in the road and was concerned I was going to be hit. After over an hour with no tow in sight I called back and they said ETA 30 minutes, I asked how could that be and the man rudely mansplained to me what ETA was assuming maybe because I'm a woman I didn't know what it meant. I said to him that you don't have to be that rude, I'm just concerned because I have been sitting halfway in the road for over two hours, he said he wasn't rude and tried to hang up, I told him you have a good day, glad you feel good for being so rude to a woman. I got a text a few minutes later that they canceled the tow, after having me wait over two hours. Just wow, they must be proud, I don't know if this is true but I'm told they have the contract with the city, so I guess that's why one tow doesn't matter. All I can say is this, they are a horrible business, I hope no one they know ever breaks down in the middle of the road, wait two hours in the cold, have the tow owner be extremely rude to them and then cancel on them. They said Volvo had not called them and then pretended they had come to my accident's location and nor I or my car could be found ( I had called directly before !). What people seem to not understand in reviews is that it is not Boulevard Towing towing you but the property owner who employs Boulevard to tow. If I could give this place a zero rating I would absolutely do so. My wife had her car towed just the other day through this company. She made several calls to ensure the vehicle was there. Each time she contacted them, not only were they completely rude, but they constantly could not give her a consistent amount that was due. She called them three times today, 193$, then 183$, then 198$. We get there to pick up the car, the guy said they don't have change so she had to pay 200$. Fine, no big deal. We get the car back home, look at the receipt and notice it reads for 108$. My wife calls to get an understanding why it does not read 198$. As rude as possible told her they didn't add the storage fees in the sheet and she could add them in if she wants. Not only that, but they said it was 70$ and not 98$ that was missing from the receipt. So clearly, they decide to make up whatever price they want to. I have a clear distain for most towing companies after Pat's Towing in Worcester, but these guys are just pure clowns. I feel terrible for ANYONE that has to deal with these guys. They are predators, beware. I hope the absolute worst for this company. Boulevard Towing is the worst place I have ever dealt with! Our company had an accident and they were called to tow our tractor trailer. The trailer was totaled but the tractor was still drivable. They would not release the tractor until the bill, which was outrageous, was paid in full by the insurance company. They basically held our tractor hostage, which correlates to lost time and money on present and future jobs. The insurance company told us that the check was going to be released that day and that they would call Boulevard to verify. Two of our employees went to pick up the tractor and they were unwilling to release the tractor. The owner of our company called and wanted to speak with the owner. He was told that he was in Florida and "sorry we can't help you". My boss tried to further explain to Jeff, who was an extremely rude person, that we were losing business due to the loss of the tractor. Jeff then annoyed said "well now I'm going to wait until the check clears before I release the tractor". He then hung up on the owner of the company. I have NEVER dealt with a company that behaved in this manner before and I've been in the construction business for 24 years. I was parked legally according to the posted signage for less than an hour in a business parking lot and my car was towed by this company. I called them telling them I'd be there in 15 minutes. I walked a mile to the tow yard and met with a tiny man with a gigantic attitude and was told that I needed to cough up 140 bucks cash. I tried to politely explain the signage and my position and all he did was stare at me. So I sat on the couch in the lobby to call my husband at which point I was told "This isn't a place to hang out hun. Do you have the money or not?" I told him I needed to make some calls and he told me that I couldn't make them in their waiting area at which point I suggested that maybe they shouldn't have a waiting area if it wasn't for waiting and I wouldn't be leaving until we had settled the matter because his boss already told me that they were about to close. I don't know if he's not used to back talk from women or what but he gave me this glare full of rage and went into the garage area to continue working on a truck. After one phone call to my husband and one to the local police I was informed that they get calls about this place all the time and can't do anything because the business I was towed from is on private property and technically don't even need a sign so having one that's incorrect is a civil matter. I was in a pretty bad part of town so the police strongly recommend that I pay to get my car back and get out of there. So I did. I had to wander through the garage to find my new friend with the Napoleon complex who continued to attempt to intimidate me with his evil glare while he filled out paperwork. He refused to finish the transaction until I allowed him to go on and on about how I was in the wrong and they know what they are doing, etc, glaring at me the whole time. So I just glared back and said nothing. Retrieved my vehicle, and left. On the phone, the boss man also informed me that they knew what business I went into after I parked my car which means that they were watching the lot and waiting to tow cars rather than being decent human beings and letting people know that despite the way the parking sign reads, parking actually isn't allowed. Slow day at the office, guys? I'm not certain that their business practices are illegal, but they are certainly immoral. I feel sorry for anyone who isn't able to come up with a ridiculous amount of cash up front in order to get their car back from these scumbags. read more
