We had a great experience with American Vision. Don- was our salesman and came to house to do initial estimate. Friendly and courteous. Not a hard sell, just here is what we have. They stand behind their reputation. Angela was great with communication Eddie, Lalo and Jayson all showed up on time the day of install. All nice and friendly and took care of our property as if it were their own. Left the house clean as when they arrived. I chose this company because of their "lifetime warranty" and also because they claimed to be a Christian company. Initially, I was thrilled with my investment but after some years, the glass on my east facing windows became blurry. It looks as if they were brushed inside the double-pane glass. AVW came out and told me that the lifetime warranty doesn't cover glass. They stated that they no longer use the glass manufacturer and that I would need to pay a glass company to replace the glass. Since windows consist of frames and glass, how can the so-called lifetime warranty exclude the glass? I do not recommend this company. Seeing their commercials boast about their lifetime warranty makes me sick to my stomach. This company is not Christian-like at all. I curse them every time I clean my windows. read more

I'm sure they do quality work but their estimate for the same exact 5 Anlin windows was about $2,000 more expensive than what others are asking for, for the same product and service. I had my front bay window replaced yesterday, and am thrilled with the whole experience. The American Vision Window company (Simi Valley) has been a pleasure to work with from the initial measurements to the install. Martin and Cesar (installers) were here on time, and immediately got going... even vacuumed the area before AND after! Anyway, install is beautiful (did not realize how NOT so nice my prior window was!), and the workmanship on replacement trim on inside is better than before. Appreciate their hard work. Installation day 10/20 finally! We started the project on 6/27 , this was the day we placed our order and gave deposit . during the wait time I was unavailable twice so partially the install delayed two weeks due my unavailability. However , I had quite a difficult time connecting with the office once we placed the order. It never seemed like we could connect so Billy, our sales rep really helped me coordinate the install. 5 Stars to Billy from start to finish. The installation crew they sent was also 5 star extremely efficient, they sent 4 guys for 3 windows and a door install . We had the rock start team of Javier, Martin, David & Lalo as our crew. We set up a coffee & donut station and let them get to work. Javier happily answered all questions throughout the install , they were professional and kept to the task. Not one time did I see anyone using cellphones . No cussing either , just a happy polite crew. The install was perfect . Took about 4 hours , due to our stucco they did have to make some adjustments to the frames without the adjustments i think it would have shaved about an hour off the time. We are very pleased , Javier gave us the demo, unfortunately due to our blinds we can't use the tilt out cleaning function but might look into shaving a portion of the blind frame shaved down so we can use the windows as intended. i even like the color of the glass it compliments my light grey walls . read more

Working with American Vision was a waste of time. They were super responsive in coming out and giving a quote and we had some follow up questions around some examples of what it would look like. After that, no follow up even after their business manager reached out to get feedback about their visit as well. It has been weeks of silence when we were prepared to go forward with them, so now back to the drawing board. These guys back their work. I called American Vision because after some time has passed, my door became hard to close and use. They were the original installers and the door and work had a lifetime guarantee. I expected resistance or some kind of loophole as is so common these days but they sent out my original installation team and Maurizio came to the rescue! He and his associate didnt mess around. He discovered the issue was settling and went about re-squaring the frame and within about an hour it was working smooth again. Services for your home always start with a lot of research followed by speaking to someone in sales at the companies you are interested in. The sales person, William Doherty, was friendly and explained everything fairly well. After the initial visit and a few follow-ups, I signed the contract for a new window. He communicated that the timeline would be 10 weeks from date the contract was signed. The contract was signed March 2023. I was contacted on May 2, 2023 (almost two months later) advising me that I need to sign some additional documents in order for the company to obtain a permit. And that time, was then advised that the install date would be 8-12 weeks from May 2023. Ultimately, the installation didn't take place until July 24, 2023. That's almost four months from contract date, two months longer than William Doherty promised. By the way, after the sale, William Doherty became more combative and less customer focused. He recreates history and in my opinion shouldn't be working in sales or anything customer service focused. Because of him, only two stars for this company. read more

I'm sure you have heard their commercials where Bill and Kathleen founded American Vision Windows to revolutionize the home improvement industry, because of their bad experience with a contractor. We were sold on their Texcote painting and it was presented in their brochure and by their sales person as never needing to paint our house again. This has proven to be completely false and misleading. They have had to come out several times to fix peeling paint. In December of 2019, we again reported the paint was peeling and this time it was much more extensive and was happening in many places. I took pictures of 12 different locations that were easily accessibly from the ground. They came and took a look and said they would get back to me. Just before the shut-down do to COVID they gave me a status update saying they had submitted it for warranty and would get back to me. After not hearing back, I called in July and August leaving several messages, finally receiving a callback from Chris who indicated they didn't have any certified Texcote painters and was in the process of interviewing some and to give him a month. After several more attempts to get an update, Chris called again and said they couldn't help us and I should instead contact the manufacture. This does not seem like the way to revolutionize the home improvements industry. They may execute well at the beginning but when it comes to warranty service they leave a lot to be desired. read more

Recently I called to express that the chalking used was starting to dry/crack. I spoke to their rep, Raymond, and he arranged for Antonio to come out to service the issue.
