Just had Anlin vinyl windows installed on 8/1/24. Danny, Jesus, Alex, Aleman, and the rest of the crew did a great job. They arrived on time, and had 15 windows installed by 3. They were courteous and informative. They did extra work (with no extra charge) of replacing and painting a window sill with termite damage. Craig, the project manager and Juan, the one who did the final measurements, answered every question and didn't mind when I called back with other questions and concerns. We had our windows replaced last week and we are so happy with both the product and the installation. It's nice looking out windows without defects -- they glide so easily to open/close and we have already noticed that the house is quieter. As for the installation--the installers (Jim, Chuy, Valentine, Andrew, & Carlos) showed up early, which was a nice surprise, and surveyed the project and just got straight into work. They answered any questions that we had and everything ran smoothly. They were very professional the entire time they were here. I had 12 windows to replace all together. The sales man was the most efficient man among people who came from all the other companies. So, I was sold to their windows. The day of installation: All the wotkers were nice and polite. They did their job really well in timely manner. After I checked all the windows, I found one cracked window and one chipped defective parts. But I found funny that fact the workers did not tell me about the defective parts till I inspected and found them out. Maybe they have been told not to tell customers about any defectives they know in advance till we tell them? Not sure. Follow up: 5-8 weeks was initial time for my windows to come, but 8 weeks passed, there was no word from them. So I called them to make sure about eta on my order. Due to Covid and the CA wild fire, it took 3 months at the end for my initial windows to arrive. I totally understood. After the insulation, 1.5 months passed, no word from them about the replacement of a cracked window and defective part. Once again, I had to call for eta on that. By then, I found another issue, not be able to lock both bathroom windows. So I told them about the issue as well (actually I ended up calling twice and told 2 different people about all the issues so that they can be prepared to fix them all when they come). Finally, the day came, workers brought a new window, but no new part for the other defective part to replace. Also, they were not aware of lock problem that I mentioned twice to the office. Luckily, they were able to fix the lock problem. Yet one defective part is still remain as an issue. It doesn't affect directly to the glass, so I can wait. But I will wait to till they call me. Just curious to see how long it will take this time, especially since this is not a major problem. I noticed luck of communication issue between the workers in the office and workers who come to install parts. Final thought: I still recommend this company's windows. They are great looking good quality windows. Yet, if you do purchase, inspect all the windows very carefully; if there are no cracked glass, chipped parts, if all the windows open and close smoothly and if all the locks work or not. Some windows were too tight for me to open since I gave arthritis hands, so I had to tell them to loosen them up. They were able to make the adjustment for me though. read more

Chris showed up this morning do the final measurements. Was prompt and took his time to explain everything to me. Looking forward to having my new windows in! Update 11/20/20. After Chris's onsite evaluation I heard from Jake and the job is going to be $1200 more expensive (30% more). Manufacturer noted does not make 2 of the windows apparently. One window measured several inches incorrectly. Other things not taken into account in original estimate. Unfortunately I have to cancel and look for someone else. read more

I recently ordered several Anlin windows to replace old leaky single pane ones. The installation was excellent and quick. They use a team of 3-4 guys per each window, all working at the same time, so on the day, my house was swarming with window installers and they were done in two days. This shop was also patient and thorough in running me through the different brands of windows and the pluses/minuses of all. I did my own research, and came up with the same conclusions. If like me, you go with Anlin windows, i think this store may be the only Anlin dealership in the LA area. Recommend! read more

I had this company install Anlin sliders on my home in 2021 and they are the best. They are friendly, professional and punctual. The sliders are substantial yet they operate with no effort. They are double pane with ARGON gas protecting my home in the desert heat of Palm Springs. They make my 45 year old home look modern and well constructed. I cannot complement the product and installation any higher. Unfortunately my landscape worker flung a rock with his weed wackier which punctured one lite and the glass broke into tiny safe pieces with no sharp shards to injure me or my dogs. I called Hugo to get an estimate to replace that pane and I was surprised and delighted to learn that they came with a lifetime guarantee and AVW will replace it at no cost to me!! As Ina Garten would say, "how easy is that?" AVW is a superb company and ANLIN is a superior product. read more

I left a review 4 months ago when we signed the contract. This review is after we got the Avril work done (or to be more precise: NOT finished!) We decided to use this company despite the high-end prices just because of the referrals. What a mistake! The sales people-Amanda and Todd were super nice and friendly until we signed the contract. We placed our order and waited over 10 weeks for the windows/doors to get ready to be installed. Installment was scheduled for November 25th (day before Thanksgiving). It was promised to be a one day job. Our contract was to replace two same size windows, two same size sliding doors, and change (enlarge) one window (new construction). We requested the company to pull the permit for the job. When finally it was the installment date, the installers came and said that they didn't have the inspector scheduled on the same day to sign the permit. They suggested to finish the job for the same size windows/doors and partially install the enlarged window and finish the job the next business day. We didn't want to have partial installment for the changing-size window since it was a long holiday weekend (and Santa-Anna winds were in the forecast). They installed the same size windows/doors. The house was covered in dust and they left to come back to finish the last one. Worth mentioning that the bathroom window was not as expected (the salesman- Todd- had not clarified that the terminology in the contract is to only change the glass and the inside window and not the frame, so we had a mismatching frame after they changed the rest of the windows/doors). Anyhow, we scheduled second installment for December 2nd. The company came, partially installed the enlarged window, but when the inspector came, he showed that the permit was incorrect. In the permit it was only mentioned changing with the SAME SIZE windows/doors. The inspector was nice enough to let them finish the installment and pending the completion signature to when they correct the permit. After the job was done (and the house was covered in dust again) we checked the window and noticed that it was not aligned with the sliding door next to it (which was clearly mentioned in the contract that they would both be the same height). Also, the glass was defected, having dirty spots withing the double layer! We refused to sign the completion paperwork. The next day the installment manager- John- came to check the issues. He acknowledged the issues and promised to fix those. We scheduled the third installment on December 16th. I called the day before to make sure that the permit is corrected and the inspector is scheduled for the same day! NOT! so they postponed the installment. Since it was Christmas the following week we asked the company to postpone the job to January. Called them, emailed them, again emailed them, no respond! So we are still waiting for the company to come and fix the window, change the defected glass, complete the permit. All this time, we had to keep the 5x10 inch stickers on ALL the windows and doors, waiting for the final inspection. Super disappointed! and still waiting. Chose AVW to give me a quote expecting it would be the most expensive of my options. Surprised they don't hire subcontractors, unlike the home chain stores, and even beat their quote. I also went into this project expecting delays because of Covid, but once the materials came in I scheduled my install. Simple enough. Richard, Martin, Emidio, Raul, and crew arrived at 8:30a. They explained the process, working with me so I could switch my dogs into different areas of the house, laid out the drop cloths and got to work. Everyone was respectful of my home, polite, and felt the crew enjoyed working together, which is important for a job well done. We initially contacted Don because this company came highly recommended by a friend. We got a second quote that came in about $3000 under theirs and my husband called the office lady and asked if they could price match. She said she would check and get back to us later that evening. My husband sometimes works late hours and when he got off later that day, he had 2 missed calls and a text saying "I don't know why I'm bothering, since you NEVER answer your phone". Then he got a drunk voice message. Then about an hour later he got another long rambling text saying how we are crazy to think they would match that price because "we all know that's not possible" and he would let the front office know to "pass" on us. He also insinuated we didn't have any money anyway. Keep in mind, my husband didn't even have a chance to answer any of this before he was off of work. I am a small business owner and I am appalled. I would NEVER speak to or harass customers this way. We are going with the other company that was friendlier and far less expensive for the same windows. read more
