I appeared for a scheduled appointment based on a written quote 2 weeks prior to install 4 new Coopers on my Prius. The quote reflected a $70 rebate from Cooper within date range which is why I scheduled the install. Turns out the rebate did not cover the tires quoted and Jason; Asst Manager was unwilling to make good on the quote/commitment. I expected more from America's Tire and left unsatisfied. I would have thought that America's Managers would be trained and/or empowered to "make it right" for its customers. read more

America's Tire in Auburn was so helpful to me yesterday!! My low tire alert light appeared when I went to work, so on my lunch I drove over to Americas Tire. Luckily it's conveniently down the street! They found a large screw in my tire so they promptly took all my info and besides being incredibly busy, got my tire patched and out of there very quickly! They were all kind, professional and informative. It didn't even cost me one cent, very happy with their exceptional service! read more

2nd flat repair I've had done here.. tried going to Rocklin and they said I needed new tires (they're only a year old I know that wasn't true). Confirmed here that I do not need new tires! In and out quick as usual vs the 2.5 hour wait I was quoted in Rocklin! Best service recommend this shop hands down over all shops. read more

I have been a lifetime customer. But that was in another area. This store has the worst customer service of any retail outlet I have ever visited. Twice I have been burned by them and their corporate headquarters. This time I ordered tires online and received an appointment and confirmation. Absolutely wonderful service! Every time I go in here I'm treated so well, it truly is appreciated. Today was a busy Saturday and I wasn't planning on getting new tires but after inspecting them it was definitely noticeable that my current ones weren't holding up as they should. I'm trying not to be angry buuuuut I called about a screw in my tire and was told to bring it in. I burned some vacation time to get up here from work in South Sacramento and arrived at 3. At 5:45 with 15 minutes left to close (and several customers present) it was obvious they wouldn't be getting to it. I was told they would get to it eventually but I can't imagine the time it would be. I know they are busy but I would have rather been told that they probably wouldn't be able to do it rather than waste my vacation time. I would have understood. Kicker is that I asked about any place I could go pay to get it done and was told that would void warranty. Soooo I'm guessing I need to burn an entire vacation day to get a screw in my tire fixed. We have purchased a few sets of tires here and do like them but this just frustrated me. Back to work tomorrow at crack of dawn with a screw still in the tire. read more

I just happened to stop in here today after seeing my tire light come on my dash. They could have easily charged me for a diagnostic, or anything else. The nice guy at the front desk came out to my car and showed me how to reset the light alert! For free! He also offered to check my tires & pressure, of course, but I had already done that. Thank you America's Tire Auburn, Greg J, and the team. At my latest experience, I went to America's Tire for a nail in my tire that was borderline repairable. I went to America's Tire because my truck had 2600 miles on it and dealership said unable to repair tire and tried to sell me a new tire. I called America's Tire. I made an appointment for after work late in the day. When I arrived and was greeted with promt and great service even with them being pretty busy. They looked at the tire and explained everything before doing repair (which they were able to do perfectly for free). They asked me, since my tires were practically new, if I wanted to certify them and I said yes. Now, for $50, I am fully covered no matter what. I did it because the tires had no mileage warranty or coverage of any kind before. I usually by tires that have a good mileage warranty and skip the extra coverage offered. I have bought a couple sets of tires from here before and have many free rotations done and always had a great experience. Always a great selection and price. This location has it down. I bought 4 new tires for my Mini Cooper, I handed the manager my key so he could drive it in, it was in perfect condition at that time. An hour an a half later I was handed my key and noticed a big chunk was taken out of the unlock portion. I told the guy behind the counter it had been damaged, he asked about it and was told it was already damaged, I told him it was not, he said, "Mamm our guys don't lie," Oh so I am?? I am furious the person who did this isn't owning up to it. If my key (with a chip) in it had been damaged, I have enough brains to know it must be protected as it is important moisture doesn't get inside, I would have wrapped it tightly with electrical tape which it has been ever sense. So now I have to drive to Sacramento to Niello Mini and order a new one, try $200. to $250 Bucks because of the LIARS at American Tires in Auburn, Ca. I'll never do business with them again,and I want others to know why. You don't treat good customers like that. read more

Best customer service i have gotten in a tire shop. I came inside and told them that I have only 20 minutes to get new tires. They already had in their system the tires that I wanted. Three of the guys in the shop tag teamed my car. One took of the tires while the other put the wheels on the new tires and the other one was cleaning up around the drum of my car. They were done in 10 minutes. i couldn't believe they did it that quick. Will be back when needed. read more

Blew out my tire on the freeway right before they closed. I got towed in, five minutes before closing. All of the staff stayed after and helped us until we were completely taken care of. They gave us amazing tires that have been thoroughly tested through the worst snowstorm of the year up in Tahoe and Donner. Best tires I've ever had. Excellent customer service went above and beyond. Discovered a screw imbedded in my rear tire which was quickly leaking while at the gas station down the road and managed to get my vehicle to their shop before it went flat. Guys are super friendly and polite, fixed the flat for free! Not many places do work for free these days and this was a great surprise. I got here to rotate my tires and they checked me in but failed to tell me that it was an hour and a half wait. A lot of good a free rotations do if they make you wait for an hour and a half. Very poor service. read more

I arrived shortly before 3 and was told that since I had an appointment, I would be out of there by 4. I was out of there at 3:59. Always great service here. I got my tires a while back and the price and service was great. I went there yesterday needing a repair cause of a slow leak from a screw and i was due for a rotation, which i get email reminders from them and i need those cause always so busy. They were swamped so i made an appointment for today and i was in and out in less than 20 minutes. They were also very accommodating given that i was with my two year old daughter. They were kind enough to use some scissors to get the crayon packet open for her so she could color while waiting, and they got me a rag out after she spilled some juice. read more

BEST SERVICE IVE EVER HAD. I found out last minute that I had a bad tire and had to rush here to see if I could get it replaced. Little did I know that they closed in 10 minutes. Best part was that they told me that they would let me in anyways because they wouldn't want me to drive in unsafe conditions. The fact that they care about their customers safety, even at the peak of closing after a busy day, is phenomenal customer service. Judd and Jacob were very helpful, and made sure everything was taken care of. It took no more than 15 minutes.. If that. I've had nothing but good experiences at America's Tires, but this location by far, is honestly the best. Would definitely recommend to everyone and would commute here just to get my tires.
