Came in to have some tires I ordered online installed, was helped getting checked in by AJ, overall just had a positive vibe which I appreciated. I don't think anyone likes going to the tire store. Usually means you have a flat or just plain have worn out tires. For me it was the latter and the experience both online and in-person were outstanding. The online team helped with pricing, as I had found the tires I wanted at a lower price on a competitor's website. An email or two later, they happily matched the price and asked that I go into the store to process the order with the price match. Danny helped with the order, I was in and out in about 5-7 minutes...super easy! The tires arrived the next day and I made an appointment for the following day. Sean, who I believe is the manager, had worked with me before. I am not ashamed to admit...but I am very particular about my vehicles. I don't drive a Ferrari, but I do take pride in my ride and let him know all the things I wanted him to look out for. First we inspected the wheels to ensure there was no existing damage and I ran through a list of things I wanted done: 1. I did not want tool marks in the lug bolt holes 2. Remove as much of the OE wheel weight adhesive as possible 3. I wanted the logos in the center cap realigned after installation of the new tires. 4. If the tires had the dot marking, that it should be lined up with the valve stem. 5. Specific tire pressures for front and rear 6. Notify me of any irregularities with the wheels during balancing Etc. Sean was not phased and took notes of all my concerns and requests. After I pulled my car into the bay, he talked to each team member and went over the specifics to ensure everyone was on the same page. Danny and another technician (didn't get his name, but the young guy with curly blonde hair) did a meticulous job on my car. They were careful with the air tools and performed the installation flawlessly. The young technician carefully hand torqued all the bolts and took time to wipe off the brake dust on my wheels, as well as any left over bead lubricant used to mount the tire. He then asked for my preference of whether I wanted to tire shine applied. I have a light colored vehicle and I hate spin-off that shows up when you use tire shine...so it was nice of him to ask before applying any....very, very thoughtful! Service was amazing...this OCD customer felt like a VIP! Appointment at 4:00, was out the door by 4:45 - fast, courteous and thoughtful service! Sean, Danny and the young tech...absolutely outstanding job taking care of me and my "unique" needs! Thank you so much! I'll be back sooner or later when my need for tires comes up again. I have been a very loyal customer for many years with America's tire. I recently went to get a flat fixed and volunteered to pay for it. I was told that since I am a customer, they would do it for free. The tires are rated for 40,000 miles and only have 20k miles. The service advisor came out, measure the depth of the thread and told me that they couldn't fix the flat because the tires were too worn out. However, the thread markers were clearly visible and the tires have plenty of life left. He told me that they couldn't fix it because it was for my own safety in case of a blowout. He tried selling me new tires instead. I did not fall for the scam and went to another tire shop that promptly fixed the flat without trying to scam me. 10/15/2024 I had an appointment for 12:45 flat repair. The tech walked me out to my car and began measuring the treads on all 4 tires. He then said the tires needed replacement and he had them in stock. He could put them on in the same time as he could get the flat repaired! $1300.00 for all four. He continued to try and twist my arm to have them installed immediately. I refused and went to Big O, at Lewis and Pleasant Valley. They took care of it on the spot for free, never mentioned replacing them! Do NOT trust America's Tire in Camarillo! You have been warned! Headed up to Ventura from San Diego, and of course with my luck, I end up with a nail in my tire. I looked this place up on yelp, gave them a call, and they told me they would fix it for FREE!!! Just to bring it in and they'll take a look. Very nice and hospitable! Everyone here was so friendly, they told me they would be able to fix it for free after checking it out. This place is called America's Tire up here, but the same company is Discount Tire in San Diego!! I waited about 30 mins, if that, and they were done! So satisfied with their service. I want to give five stars to America's Tire for the great service they always provide. However, zero starts to Salesperson 556 (M. R.L). I stopped by 4/5/19 at 10:11 am for a simple nail in my left front tire. He didn't bother to see the nail at all because he just wanted to sell me a tire, for $190.68. I purchased all four tires from America's Tire previously with hazard insurance, even though, he said it was not repairable because miss alignment. Wow what a crook!!! The nail did not even went all the way, was only in the tire thread according to American Tire Depot technician. I am totally dissatisfied with this sales man. Other places wanted $55 to fix my flat tire on my Tesla model Y, but JR at Americas Tire said, "Come on in, we'll fix your flat tire for free." JR was on speaker and I looked at my buddy in the car and said, "What an amazing company." Other companies would take their profits and invest it into marketing and advertising, and Americas Tire takes their profits and invest it into giving back to the people. The tire on my BMW X1 blew out on Las Poses in the middle of an urban street. We needed a place to be towed that had a replacement tire nearby since my car didn't come equipped with a spare. We called the BMW service department in the same town and it was closed on a Saturday! We called other tire repair vendors and they didn't have the tire in stock or about to close. Finally, my husband called American Tire and we spoke to Sean who accommodated is and said even though they don't have the same brand tire Farelli - they could order it or we could get another brand. We were towed and Mitch helped us arrange the new replacement and told us it would take two hours. We had a pleasant walk and lunch in the complex and then returned. The tire cost $217 and the technicians checked my other tires and filled them with the correct amount of air to match the PSI. Wow! I just drive there and pull-up where the "air station" is and someone will acknowledge you right away. I showed up for my appointment 5 minutes early, signed a paper, gave them my keys and walked through the shops nearby for 45 minutes while they switched my tires out. The guys were super helpful, funny, and kind! I got a text saying my car was ready well before the estimated 1.5 hour mark and walked back to get it. Blew a tire on the 101 freeway this morning. Since I've done business with America's tire before, I went over there again to see if they could help me out. I was thinking I might need 4 tires. A young man named Brandon came out, checked all of my tires and told me that the other three did not need to be replaced just yet and all I needed to do was replace the one that I lost. I really appreciate the fact that he did not try to sell me three tires I did not yet need. He was able to find me a tire comparable to the brand I currently have on the car and the tire was on the car before I knew it. While I was waiting I got continual updates on when the car would be finished. I always found America's Tire staff to be courteous, professional and prompt. You can't ask for much more than that. What an unpleasant first impression they present as you enter the store. Employees have their backs to the customers, facing a wall type, ATM like computer system. There is no counter to approach or anything that indicates where a customer should wait, nobody even acknowledges your presence. I stood around a few minutes before asking another customer if I needed a number or something?? He replied, "don't know, been waiting too." Another customer then entered and asked me if there was a line, like I knew??? He waited for a few minutes while we were ignored, then left. Wow! What service the give! I was driving to the outlets in Camarillo in my new car and noticed that the sensor was going off in my new BMW M4. I have had the car for a week so I wasn't sure of this was a bad sensor or what. I pulled in and was greeted by Andrew. I explained to Andrew about my concerns. Andrew said no problem let me take a look. You could tell he knows his tires. He filled my right rear tire up and found the leak in like 2 mins. I was super bummed because the totes that come on this car are like 300 each and I figured for sure I was buying a tire. He said we can fix this. He looked around and said we are busy, but give me a half hour. He told me to go register the car inside and come back in a half hour. I went inside to be greeted by a nice gentleman who took my information. I asked how much he said it was complementary. I said what? Wow! Andrew jacked my car up and removed the tire and went back to the machine where he took the tire off the rim and patched after that he said your good to go! I asked him to check the torque on all the rims, he did and explained to me the proper air settings for my car. I must say Andrews service was above and beyond. Well, again a very positive experience with Americas Tire. They said there was no need to rotate the tires as the fronts had more tread depth than the rear (fronts usually wear out quicker than the rears because 80-90% of your braking comes from the front wheels). So they checked the air pressure and sent me on my way AT NO CHARGE). I don't know if all Americas Tire are like this, but I've had multiple good experiences with this crew (R.J.
