If you're coming in, make an appointment and come with patience. There are always a lot of customers, and they stay booked. On this visit, I purchased LT285/60R18 BFG All-Terrain T/A KO3s, and they fit my truck perfectly. I have a 2-inch lift and had already done an alignment. On my first visit, I wish the initial employee had taken a little more time to walk through my questions, though he did say the tires would fit. When I came back for the install, Jose completely turned the experience around. He was professional, took the time to come out, listen, and double-check everything. He was honest about a possible slight rub and made sure I felt comfortable before moving forward. That customer service made a big difference. There was a small appointment mix-up, but nothing major. Wait was about an hour, which didn't surprise me given how busy they are. Overall, great service, tires look great, and I appreciate the team. Thanks to Jose and the American Tire crew in Ventura. Big banner hanging out front. New name, too. It's Mr Tire now. I love that banner! It says "Mr Tire will beat anyone's advertised price or your tires are FREEEEE!!" Had to wait about an hour for the wheel bearings to be delivered but he was super nice about it and cleaned my headlights for the wait. He really didn't have to go the extra mile, but things like that really make a huge difference compared to other shops. He did the wheel bearings for 180 each, compared to another shop trying to charge 440 each. Definitely recommend this shop.
