Today, I went to America's Tire (Glendale) to have one tire checked, but they checked all my tires. For free! Everyone was so nice, friendly and soft spoken. They thoroughly checked my tires, even my spare tire. They did not charge for anything. I got more service than I requested. They went over and beyond the service I came in for. I would definitely come back here if I ever have tire issues again. They definitely know what they're doing. Everyone seems happy with their job. I recommend this place to everyone who has tire problems. This is the place to go and you will not regret it. Shout out to Micah and Orlando. I hope I got your names right. These guys are good. Took care of my expensive new wheels and tires unlike some other places I've been before. The last place I went to the installer left all that white mounting goop on the sidewalls of the tire and was a bitch to get off after. NOT WOMAN FRIENDLY. I went in to get new tires and in that process I had my wheels destroyed and my wheel locks broken without them explaining to me what they were charging me for. It wasn't until after I had payed $900 that the salesperson, Jacob G, explained the extra "service fees". When I was being attended they explained that the $100 additional was the labor cost to put on the new tires. Instead this fee was to remove the wheel locks. That was never told to me or explained to me. So I ended paying to get my car returned with missing wheel locks, because they stripped them, and a broken rim. They expected me to drive off like that, no explanation, no concerns from them. I'm not a mechanic and I know the majority of people aren't either. If you need tires find a place that shows a little concern for your safety and for your car. read more

Earlier this week I went to America's tire to get a tire rotation and not only did I receive any information on what the mechanics did or did not to my car but I was witness to an ugly incident where the employees of the store joined bullying customers to gang up on a hearing disabled customer. It started with Rudy, a service rep, laughing at a customer wearing hearing aids and a face mask after that customer had his backpack thrown to the ground by a LARGE obnoxious bullying customer. The hearing impaired customer was laughed at by Rudy and other store employees who witnessed the bullying customer assault the hearing aids customer. Several employees mocked the hearing impaired customer by gossipping about the incident with other customers and the bullying customer. This included Kyle, the assistant store manager and other employees who's names I couldn't catch. The hearing impaired customer complained to Justin the store manager who said he wasn't concerned and that the assaulted customer could call the police. The hearing impaired customer did just that. While this was happening the store employees contained to make light and be entertained at the bullying of a hearing impaired individual. To say that the store has been going down hill for the last few years is an understatement. To witness your store employees discriminate against a person with a hearing disability was disgusting. I tried complaining about it to Justin but he informed he didn't care. I called the customer care line and not only did they inform they didn't care but they even displayed their own prejudices based on my last name. Informing they only spoke "English" even though I never requested any other language to be spoken. I spoke with the regional manager to inform him about how discriminatory the staff was and he also exhibited a complete lack of concern. The discrimination and bias that this store employed seems to be company policy since regional manager and the customer care line mirrored it. It's not just this specific location but America's Tire as a whole. America's Tire employees only care about entertaining themselves at the expense of customers with disabilites or who wear face masks or appear different in any way. That this discrimination by Rudy, Kyle and Justin was a source of amusement to the store employees and a point of annoyance that was ignored by the regional manager and the customer care line tells you everything you need to know about this company. This company never even told me what they actually did to my car. They were too busy mocking disabled customers. I received a survey to rate my visit and I certainly did with screenshots below. When I was prompted to leave a review on America's Tire website I discovered why they have such a high score on their website. On their Terms and Conditions they "have the right" to delete any review which is why there are almost no real negative reviews on their site. Do your research before giving your money to a business that discriminates against people with disabilities and doesn't even tell you what they do to your car. read more

My front tire ripped open on the freeway today while I was driving at 70mph all thanks to America's tire not doing alignment after putting on my tires. I got all 4 of my tires replaced at the Topanga location over a year ago and got one of the front tires fixed at this location in December 2017. I asked them both times about the alignment and they said they'd do it after they're done w my tires. Fast forward to April when I got my car serviced at bmw. They warned me about my alignment being off but I said no it's not possible because America's tires had just done it. Fast forward to today. My right front tire bursts open while I was driving on the freeway. I took it to the closest tire shop and they said it's because my alignment was way off and my left one is about to rip as well. Drove over some debris on the freeway earlier this morning and came out of work with a flat. I googled the closest tire shop with the most review and came across American Tire Depot. Now I understand why this place has amazing reviews with Norman's name all over the reviews. Norman was very tentative while inspecting the tire and checked the other tires in case there was a puncture as well. He really cared about customer service and satisfaction. I was in and out within 20 minutes! Just 20 minutes! It was fast, easy, and painless. I thought after a long day at work, I would be there for 1-2 hours. I highly recommend this place. l'll be coming here for future tire repairs and replacements. The service alone won me over. Give Norman a raise! read more

DISAPPOINTED DISRESPECTFUL WHERE ARE THE ETHICS? My valid reasons: #1 Straight out deceived/lied to regarding my [ACTUAL] tread depth of all tires they were literally off by 2! #2 [ADDED]the Certificate For Repair, Refund or Replacement fee even though I asked Sean to take it off. #3 Management just apologized and walked away like it was nothing. Overall scenario: I had a flat tire and AAA came to remove it so I could take it to America's Tires to have it looked and hopefully repaired. Total wait time: 1 1/2 hr for one tire. Referred from: AAA since they have a deal with America's Tires. The story: After inspecting my damaged tire and showing me the issue I understand why I needed to replace it. Standard procedure the tech inspected all tires. However, the tech marked all my tires with a (5) tread depth meaning I would need to replace them once I hit (4) tread depth. Sean the rep did his normal procedure of upselling me on purchasing more tires which I agreed but asked him to [remove] the Certificate For Repair, Refund or Replacement which is [added] on without a customer knowing. My instinct knew that my tires were not at 5 and requested that Sean physically show me. We walked to my car, he used the tread depth tool and all tires were marked at 7. Literally 2 pts off from what they showed on their paper and Sean didn't know what to say to me. I then only wanted to replace one tire since I was waiting for over an hour and the majority of all other tire shops were closed. Later when I got home I realized WITHOUT my knowledge that the Certificate For Repair, Refund or Replacement fee was added. I called the shop and they said the ONLY way they could remove it is if I drove all the way back. Truly disappointing, extremely disrespected and I'm at a loss of words................ I came in for a tire replacement under the road hazard warranty coverage. While they used the electronic tread depth thing to measure the tire wear. The sales person said I should replace an additional tire since one would be new. The tires only have about 8k miles on them so I declined. He stated that my lowest tire depth was 5/32, I found that hard to believe since they have so few miles. I asked my dad (a mechanic) to check the tires and not one of my tires was 5/32. all of the depths they told me were off by 3mm. So Buyer beware, you may buy tires before itś necessary! I will no longer allow any tire shop to check with the electronic device. besides that, the shop was clean, staff was friendly and there was a nice outside seating area. read more

Had an appointment for 2pm that I made 3 days prior, simple nail removal and tire plug - but when I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment I was greeted with an overloaded parking lot and a tow truck dropping off a car. I had to circle the parking lot and adjacent streets 3 times before one of the many employees that saw me told me where to park my car to at least get into my appointment. I took two steps out of my car before another person came out and said I couldn't park there and I had to move. The response to "Alright... It's frustrating that even with an appointment, you still have to wait 80 minutes. What's the point of making an appointment if it takes about the same as people who don't have appointments? They take people on a first come, first served basis. They tell you're next and have more cars get service before and without appointments and you were here first, what disappointment will definitely need to find another place. I've been here several times before and usually have a reasonably good experience but this most recent visit was not satisfactory. The front desk service is pretty good as usual but the team that put my new tires on left black grease on the surface of all four wheels. Additionally, they returned my spare tire to the trunk but didn't put the cap back on the fill valve so that piece is lost. Lastly, they filled my tires to incorrect tire pressures. The rears were set to 50psi. The tire's say their max PSI is 51! When fixing this myself, it was obvious that they set the front tires to the PSI for the rear tires and then set the rears to the PSI for the spare tire. Glad I noticed and corrected this. On a hot day, I could've had a blow out. read more
