I have had to come to various America's Tire locations throughout California, and I have never been let down. My most recent visit to this particular location exceeded my already high expectations. Dealt with several different employees, and all helped me out in different ways, from making helpful suggestions not aimed at making a sale, to even going as far as giving me a brand new tire for free due to them finding a tear in the previous tire. This outlet is either incompetent or criminal. They double billed me more than $700. I contacted them and they said the would remove the extra charge. They seemed shocked that such a thing could happen, and said they would call me back when they corrected the error. They never called, and did not reverse the double charge. The icing on the cake is their promised "rebate". My invoice states that I should have received a $100 "Regional Mail-In Rebate". After looking through all of the paper work the bundled up and gave me there is no mail in document. Net rip of more than $800. Watch out for these guys! read more

Guys were nice and friendly. The website gave me an idea of the price on tires $60 each tire plus taxes and fees. When I got there they offered me a cheaper tire. Even though the guy said he wouldn't pick it or recommend it to me he didn't push the subject which I appreciated. I only wanted to replace the front 2 but they called me while replacing those and said the other 2 could be replaced. I asked them if either would last 6 more months (I'm planning on getting rid of the car) and they said only one needed replacing. They could have scammed me and how would I have known? The place was clean and looked nice and I am happy with my tires and they even recommended a place to get an alignment. I will verbally recommend them and have already to my roommate. read more

Overall I was very happy with this place. I came in originally because I realized I had a nail in my tire. One of the BEST things about this place is that they will do FREE tire repairs and tire rotations on ANY vehicle whatsoever, regardless of where the tires were originally purchased. It's a smart ploy to get people in the door. Their service is good and fairly fast, given their high volume. When I came in, the guy offered to fix the tire for free; however once the tire was taken off, he saw that the tire had been previously fixed (which is true, i had had an initial repair on it a while back), and he told me that it had been improperly fixed the first time. I could understand him not wanting to do a second repair on it. Since my tires were getting worn down anyways, he recommended that I get a new set of tires (of course, right?) I immediately started to wonder if this I was about to be fleeced, but then saw that he was right- my tires were worn down, and they were very close to the end of their recommended tread life anyways. For the same price as it would cost to replace my stock 40,000 mile tires, he recommended a set that would last 85,000 miles. I quickly googled reviews of the set he recommended, and they were all very good. So I thought to myself, well, at the very least, I'll have a long lasting set of tires from now on. I ended up plunking down about $630 for a set for 4 new tires; this included new TPMS on each, lifetime tire rebalancing and replacement warranties. However I still wondered: although I'm pretty sure I'm getting a good product, am I getting a fair price? The guy who helped me told me that their store will price-match any internet competitor (as long as shipping is factored in). That gave me piece of mind. I ended up going home and researching prices. To make a long story short, although it felt like I had spent a ton of cash on their tires, their prices are actually pretty competitive. The lowest price I could find for tires shipped to my home as a comparison ended up being about 5% less. 2 days later I went back to their store, with a printout of the better priced internet tire store, and they refunded the difference without any difficulty whatsoever. Overall I am very happy with my experience with America's Tire. I would give them a 4.5/5 if I could, but I'll be nice and round up. As an added bonus, they have locations in many different states, so if you move, or if you are travelling and need service, you might be in luck even outside of So-Cal. read more

This is by far the best place for tires. Every employee I've encountered is enthusiastic and efficient. Their work is top notch quality and they're very reasonably priced. I've been here numerous times already. On my first visit, they beat tirerack's price for a set of Michelins. On my next two visits, they replaced my damaged tires (from potholes) free with no hassle and no fuss. All I had to do was renew their protection plan for twenty-five dollars a tire! (These were $200+ tires a piece) All in all I'm very satisfied with this shop and will continue returning. read more

Yes, the wait was long (I made the mistake of coming in on a Thursday afternoon during Christmas break, everyone wanted new tires before long road trips/driving in bad weather), but what really impressed me was how upbeat and professional every single employee was and remained in the face of hordes of people and long wait times. This is the place to go if you want tires...Staff is always super friendly and on top of things, and overall pretty fast for how busy they are (especially considering I did not make an appt.). In my experience it is not just one or two workers who are friendly, it is everyone I have come in contact with. They must train people well! Plus, you don't feel like they are trying to upsell you which is a rarity at auto-related places these days. And if you buy tires from them they will fix your tire for free if you get a nail in it or replace it free if they can't fix it. What business does that anymore?? I came in suspecting a leak in my passenger front tire. They noticed that my driver front tire was lower than the others and asked me when the last time I did a tire rotation (which was roughly 5000 miles ago -- Nissan recommends 7500 miles). He told me that I should do a tire rotation because my rears were 8/32nds and my front driver was 6/32nds. Told me that they will check my tire for a puncture and will order me a replacement if my tire isn't replaceable. They inspected my tires and replaced the TMPS parts *free of charge* and didn't find a leak. So it was all good. However they rotated my tires and balanced my wheels as well. Long story short... My original request was to check my leaking tire (At this point I was ready to buy tires). I left with new TMPS rubber seals, a tire rotation and a wheel balance that they recommended and DIDN'T CHARGE ME. I was in and out in 40 minutes...and it was quite a busy day! Now that is what I call GREAT people. This is why I ONLY go to this Americas Tire and this is why I RECOMMEND Americas tire to my friends and family. Fernando Gonzales was the one who helped me! He is great! Also got a survey from Americas Tire -- Of course they get a full 10 marks from me! This place has great free coffee.... yum. The only thing I do not like about this place is that they set my tire pressure to 30 PSI instead of the recommended 32 PSI...2 PSI lower than what should be set...but I topped it off when I got home. read more

I can't recommend these guys enough. They gave us a great variety of options for tire replacement, and didn't try to up-sell or schmooze us at all. Four days after getting my beautiful brand new tires, I tore a giant hole in one. COMPLETELY my fault, but they replaced it free under their extended warranty (which was about $15 per tire and covers road hazards - ie driving your tire over a giant pointy thing in your driveway - for the lifetime of the tire). My household will be doing all future tire purchases here for sure. read more

I have used this company through six cars, and I had such good experiences every time I go there. They have records of every time, even from America's Tires in other cities; no need to keep receipts. Last time they fixed a flat for free, but found a big chunk out of one of my tires. They ordered me a new $206 tire for free. I pay only $28 for a new free replacement certificate. I want to gratefully thank the employees working at the this facility during the closing hours on 3/11/14. I arrived there with a nail in my tire 15 minutes after the closing time of 1800. The men in the store graciously repaired my tire during a brief period of time despite the fact that the facility was officially closed.. I am so grateful because to have placed the spare tire on my car would have required me to return later the next day and I was unable to do that as I was required to work late. I spoke to many people where I work about the extraordinary service that this business has provided for me. I discovered that many people where I work currently are customers, and they too have been very pleased with the service. I will be a loyal customer for as long as I live in this area. These guys are awesome! Friendly and courteous--excellent customer service, start to finish. Brought my Jeep in here for a tire upgrade--moving up in tire size, but down in wheel size. Bought the tires with them, but brought the wheels in myself. They accommodated my special instructions without any trouble. They took a lot of time to take care of the little details, too. They even packed up my takeoff wheels nicely in the back of my Jeep for transport home, taking the time to make sure they wouldn't shift or roll around in the cargo area or get banged up. And I love going to a place where the employees are not only professionals, but also enthusiasts! Chatted with the guys there about my Jeep and swapped info on good off-road trails. Very refreshing, especially considering that some automotive shops out there treat women customers poorly. Not here, though! Made an appointment ahead of time, so I was in and out in just under an hour. And that was with moving my TPMS sensors from my stock wheels to the new ones and all the work that entails. I highly recommend this place. It was just a great experience throughout. I've been a customer of Discount Tire / America's Tire for years, but this is probably the best shop I've dealt with so far! I did lots of tire research by Internet and phone, and these guys in Pasadena got my business because the information they had on the Internet as far as pricing and availability matched what they actually had in stock. In contrast, another nearby shop (which will not be named) seemed to have all kinds of tires for my car on the internet, but had in-stock two unadvertised brands they wanted to sell me, one of which was not even the right tire for my car (smelled like the old bait and switch). This is a very busy place (for obvious reasons), but I made an appointment ahead of time and was out in a hour with the tires I actually wanted. Kudos to a good ol' fashioned, quality business. My brand new BMW developed a slow tire leak 6 days ago when it was only 2 weeks old. Took it to the dealer (in El Cajon, near San Diego) who said there was a screw in it and patched it 6 days ago. No probe for several days. Then drove to Pasadena 2 days ago and tire started to lose air again. Took it to America's (=Discount) tire, as it is near my meetings. Austin was professional, polite, took care of me. Turns out that the BMW did a crappy repair- just put a plug in, and the leak returned. New tire needed. Bummer. Austin found a new tire nearby, their price was as good as any as I could find online, and once the tire was in they called me (same day service). I returned and they had the tire on and I was in and out in 15 min. I will go after the dealer to pay for this, but had to give this shout out to this business. Thanks! read more

I would like to thank Robert for his amazing and professional service. I came in to America's Tire to buy a set of Continental tires. I called in the day before and spoke with a different rep and he told me they would price match Discount Tire Direct's ebay offer. I figured it would be better to just purchase it in store so I made a trip to them after work, but only to find out they normally never price match Ebay. Robert was very helpful and started looking into it and made multiple phone calls to their sister company "Discount Tire Direct" to try to figure it out for me. Throughout the whole process, he was very patient and transparent with me. Even when I was being snappy, he remained very calm and helpful. I was very upset because there were some confusions between what I was told over the phone compared to how they actually operate. Even though it wasn't Robert's fault, but it didn't stop him from being absolutely helpful and trying to make me a happy customer. I purchased 2 tires about a month ago from this location. At the time I was asked if I had time while they checked the alignment, I didn't know they wanted to charge me to do it. So after the waiting I declined. When I checked my air pressure the tires I bought were over inflated, not that big of a deal but they didn't bother with my other tires to make sure they were even. So I went back today because u had a screw in one of the tires. They said it was covered and I didn't need to pay for the repair, but when I checked the tire pressure this time I saw that it was Very over inflated by about 10 lbs. And when on the highway my car has a noticeable vibration when I pass 60 mph. This was not there before. Either the technicians don't know what they are doing or something was done deliberately to affect the performance of my vehicle. Whichever the reason, I don't trust this company now and I won't go back. There are other more reliable tire shops to be found. read more

I came in to America's Tire for a free tire repair. Short on cash I could not afford new tires all around. When the report came in that my tire could not be repaired, due to lack of tread life, instead the assistant manager offered me a used tire. I never feel like they are trying to sell me tires, and everyone here is very knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. It can get very busy if you try to walk in in the afternoon, but if you walk in at 8 AM, it's pretty quick for tire rotation or other services. AWESOME- fast, pleasant, great prices- SUV and sedan!! Called in a panic- had flat from a hole, low tread on all 4,was hoping to stretch it out because 6 days before my hubby's car needed all 4 replaced. Robert answered-told him my weird story and super time crunch,- he was super helpful, nice and great customer service!! He told me they could take me right away. I needed a cheap place but quality that could replace it immediately, and get me out fast. So- my weird story that landed me there, was at a cemetery and lawn guy told me he saw a flat. Sure enough, total. Been there before, and the lady that runs it is super controlling and grouchy. So I bust out my air compressor, making a huge amount of noise, waiting for her to come out and yell at me, did the spit test to confirm a hole I saw. The noise is HORRIFIC, and I'm having to squat on a headstone because the tire is at the curb. Awkward!! Bust out my 6 yr old Fix A Flat, (never am without) connection breaks, hose not working- sprays everywhere, in my Hair, hands are too slippery to hold hose on, leaking air it took long to get in, air hissing like pissed of tiger, tire is covered, lose the tire cap, and I smell like I rolled around in ever horrific car oil, grease, fuel possible. Can't stand the smell myself, and cell at home becauseI forgot it so I couldn't call AAA or find directions to America's Tires!! Make it home, called Robert, and the rest became good news! Great experience. This is a well run operation. They know how to take care of the customer and are pretty good at what they do. I had a nail in my Masearti's rear PZero tire and they were able to repair it at no cost without damaging the rim at all. I did buy their road hazard protection for all 4 tires "after" they fixed the tire as I thought I will certainly visit these guys again should anything happen again to the expensive tires under this car. Anyway, I hope their management continues doing the great job they are doing and the solidity of the place remains. This experience sharply contrasted what I had to deal with at Just Tires (related to the same tire) which they were not able to touch not to mention their really poor attitude and business style. read more

I was drawn by their advertisement of free flat tire fix. I knew there could be a catch and there was. they were so pushy. told me how dangerous my tire was. Maybe it's true but i didn't believe it. You know you go to some place and they are killing you with kindness and impossible to say no? If kindness is problem then what could have done? Recently had new tires installed by America's Tire Company. Fernando L. was particularly helpful in the order processing of my new Michelin tires -- which I consider to be a great bargain; they are better than the OEM Michelins for my car -- with increased speed, thread ware, temperature, and traction ratings -- and are about 75% of the cost when compared to the dealership OEM tires sold at the dealership (with rebate). Not to mention, free lifetime balancing, rotation, repairs (if it can safely be done), and air pressure checks. read more

As I started my engine on my way to work, I got a notification that the tire pressure on the left rear of my BMW was completely off compared to the others (37 PSI vs 21 PSI). I had a feeling right off the bat there was a nail, but wasn't sure. Was thinking of going to BMW and having them check. However, as I was passing by Pasadena area I opted to see if this place can help verify for me. Granted, I would trust them over the dealer as they tend to rip you off. I was greeted very warmly upon entering by Sean. Right off the bat, he was so enthusiastic in helping me out. He told me he would check to see what is the cause and if there was indeed a nail, they would remove it and fix it free of charge. When he checked all the tires, lo and behold, there was indeed a nail on my left rear tire. He took basic information since this was my first time here and advised that it would take 45 minutes to complete. Gave me a receipt showing that I didn't have to pay for anything. I was so confused and even was more than happy to pay for the labor. This place has a customer service unlike most others. Sean went above and beyond, and he did it all with so much enthusiasm that I can tell he loves his job. I will definitely be going here for all my future tire needs. OMFG....So I have actually been here twice before and didn't really pay much attention to the service ect...as they say "is the absence of bad service, good service?" but this was years ago and I wasn't yelping at the time, but I digress, the team was on it!!! Every one of the staff was friendly helpful and professional. I had only a short time to get tires and had been putting it off because I knew that they match prices but I didn't want to bother calling/searching the web for the best price I could find, I called them anyway just to ask the amount of time it takes them to change 4 tires so I could budget for the time in my schedule (I knew my tires were bald and metal showing and really needed to do it soon). The guy Nate told me that it would take 20 mins and they would match any prices even Internet (really wow this is new, they didn't used to do this...shocking). I said really well I will have to check the pricing and tell you, he stops me and says he will look it up right now for me (customer service is nice) and he gets me a very competitive quote, I am in. When i got there I only have to wait about 5 minutes to be helped and they at least notice that I was waiting and told me they would be with me soon as they only had two registers going..I was next. Got it all paid for and with in about 15 minutes they had finished the whole job. Love the tires and couldn't be happier with the service...Good job guys, I don't even need to mention their policy about repairs and maintenance as it is awesome too read more
