I decided to decline service. It was a rough day, but Jason took excellent care of me, professional and friendly. I believe that people should be celebrated for excellent customer service. Went in with an inspection from Nissan. Jared was kind. Started the whole process. I waited two hours for Jason G to tell me everything's finished and when I asked what was wrong (Jared had mentioned there was no nail like I thought) Jason told me that the two rear tires were fixed and I had gone in for a front tire. After asking for an explanation why, he went to get assistance and came back and couldn't explain because his coworkers "didn't speak English" which I find to be dismissive, racist, and ignorant. I told Jason I'd like to know if the front tire was fixed because that's what my main issue was and he said in more words than this "no" then explained the tire rotation poorly and didn't exactly answer any questions. I said can you show me on my car what was rotated and what was fixed. He hastily and exasperatedly walked to my car, a mile in front of me, to show me. Pointed at the tires and explained what was done in basically less than five words then again hastily returned to the store, again a mile in front of me. He apologized for the miscommunication but was rude, uninformative, and dismissive the whole time. I'm not paying hundreds of dollars to fix a machine that can kill someone without knowing if what needs to be fixed was fixed. Unprofessional. Would never recommend so long as Jason is working there. I was wrapping up a road trip on a Sunday afternoon when my tires couldn't hold their pressure even after pumping them full of air. Thankfully, American Tire Depot was still open and they were able to take a look. I ended up needing a new set of tires. They didn't have the model I wanted, but they were able to have them shipped the next day so I left my car overnight. It's a popular shop, so don't be surprised if there's a wait for them to get to your car, though weekdays appear to be less busy. I'd been dealing with a slow leak in one of my tires for a few months. (Yes, yes... I know. ) I kept a portable air compressor in my car and was buying myself some time, but it was only a temporary solution. Before leaving town for a week, I filled the tire again. When I got back, it was low on air once more, so I finally decided it was time to get it fixed. Luckily, American Tire was on my drive home from work, so I had no more excuses. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was excellent. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly, welcoming, and professional. While I was there, another customer came in with three young children who were understandably loud and energetic. Although their parent wasn't very attentive, the employee remained calm, patient, and professional the entire time. That level of customer service was impressive. Kudos to him! The technician who worked on my car was just as courteous. He explained everything as he went, including the issue we had finding my wheel lock key. He was able to remove the tire, locate the nail, and repair it without any problems. The best part? They repaired my tire for FREE. Because of the outstanding service, they've earned my future business. I'll definitely be coming back when it's time to purchase new tires and get my alignment done. Quick. Efficient. Professional. I called 5 days ahead to make an appointment to buy and install a tire for my Mercedes. I arrived a few minutes early, and the young guy working was extremely rude right away. I told him I had an appointment, and he snapped, "You didn't make an appointment, did you?!" He then unhappily searched the computer, acting super inconvenienced like it was my fault it wasn't in there. I'm 99% sure he was the same person I spoke to when I made the appointment five days earlier. We went out to my car to confirm the tire, which was confusing since he had assured me on the phone that he had the right one. He was dismissive the whole time, didn't hold the door for me, gave zero information about the process, timing, or what to expect. He only said it would take 30 minutes to an hour. If their process was to pull the car out and park it on the street when done, they should have told me to keep an eye out for my vehicle. Instead, they gave me no instructions whatsoever on how I would know when it was ready. Over two hours later, I happened to notice my car parked on the street. I had to ask another employee if it was done, he casually said yes. No one ever came to tell me or let me know before hand to keep an eye out for my vehicle so I could check out. I wonder how long they would have let me sit there waiting if I hadn't asked. I also specifically asked them to check if my car needed an alignment after they would install the new tire. They never followed up or gave me any information whatsoever, no update on whether it was checked, whether it needed one, or if it was safe to drive. There was no final discussion or service review at the end at all. The whole experience was super weird , unprofessional, and disrespectful. The rude employee is easy to spot he's the only one wearing sunglasses indoors and acting like a smug, arrogant kid too superior for actual work. I'd never go back to this location. I'd happily pay extra at another shop just to avoid this place. There are tons of better tire shops with the same prices. What a joke. read more

I was extremely glad this shop was open on a Sunday. Without an appointment, it took about 90 minutes to switch out 4 new tires. The shop is a little dated and dirty inside. The guys working were pretty cool and helpful. I have black aftermarket wheels on my car that came with a black valve stem cap and when I got my car back, they had switched them out to shorter, grey ones so some of the gold stem was visible and was extremely noticeable. I wish the guys would pay a little more attention and make sure all the original parts are back on the car. read more

Came here twice for a wheel alignment and had a frustrating experience both times. The first time, I walked in without an appointment and was told they could get to my car within 2 hours. After waiting over an hour, my car still hadn't even been moved from the parking lot, so I left and made an appointment for the following week. When I returned for my scheduled appointment, I waited another hour only to be told there were still several appointments ahead of mine. I asked if they overbook appointments, and the employee said no, they were "just very busy." At that point, I left again. Before I left, they told me to "come back tomorrow and we'll take care of you." I understand shops get busy, but what's the point of an appointment if the timing isn't honored? My Love and i DIY installed new suspension components. Car drove well, but we wanted to be sure the alignment was correct (per factory service manual). Our regular shop (Hyarcs) does not do alignments. American Tire Depot was one of two places they recommended. Made an appointment for a free alignment check for the same day via their website--no problem. Arrived at the scheduled time. They were not especially busy: working on other vehicles, but not overloaded. Wait time to sign-in was relatively short. Wait time to service was also relatively short. The free check showed that the alignment was quite close to correct, but a couple of parameters were out of tolerance. We opted to have the alignment corrected. They volunteered a discount coupon. We'd gotten a slightly lower quote on the phone, which they matched. The technician appeared to know what he was doing. The job was done in short order. I studied the revised alignment numbers: all matched the factory service manual specs well. Staff were friendly and polite, and reasonably efficient. We were in and out in about half an hour. I waited to post this review until after a 440 mile or so round trip road trip: car drove great, no problems whatsoever related to alignment (and really no problems of any kind). Will definitely consider American Tire Depot and specifically this location for future alignments. read more

When I arrived they said their technician doesn't get in till 9am . Had work at 10am that day so I had to rescheduled for the following day at 9am . Purchased/installed set of tires here about a year ago. Most tire stores are the same price, so I choose because they offered lifetime tire rotations. Was told 'just make an appointment & bring it in". So, made appointment well in advance & brought it in (was actually early). Was told wait time would be 2-3 hours. WTF? Why have appointments if you don't honor them? I'll find another place for my next set of tires. --------------- Update :: Made reservation for tire rotation at Americas Tire across the street for the following week. Night & day difference. They coordinated w/ me on the res via text. Once I arrived, they greeted me & checked my car within 10 min. Even though they appeared quite busy, they had me in & out in less than 40 min. I'm happy with my two new tires. Jason checked me in, polite and professional. I went to America's tires to get my rare tire patch up but they couldn't repair bc what are the chances I had two nails on the same tire. I wanted to get a second opinion and I was told the same , can't patch up with 2 nails close to the same spot. I thought it was strange that I ended up with 2 nails bc before we drove over to America's tire, we only saw 1 nail but maybe it was the angle who knows. Jason looked up the tires I wanted the same as my original tires which were cheaper compare to America's tire. Jason was patient and listen to my preference on how I want to rotate my tires. I didn't leave my car that day bc I wanted to do more research on my tire options. We came back to America's tire depot this morning to order my tires thinking we had to wait for them and come back. Now the manager at the store is very attentive, he seems to be overlooking at his staff for every transaction or customer and said " we can go pick up the tires today and have the car ready before the store closes. WOW, talk about customer service. The Manager, I forgot his name, had Jason pick up one tire in Chatsworth and he went to another location in Rosemead. Jason was very attentive and professional as well, I had specific request on my tire rotation, I repeated a few times to make sure we're on the same page and he was very patient and listen and said of course, we'll get it done. And the price I had for my 2 tires were cheaper compare to their competitors $25 off each tire and other tires shops we looked at as well. Now , I have 2 feedbacks 1) the new tires were over inflated, my tire pressure for my car should be at 35 tire pressure, the new tires are at 39, and it will increase when the tires are rolling and if it's too high my tires might Pop 2) Is to the corporate, Fix the Air Conditioner! It was like 100 degrees inside. I'm surprised there were customers sitting inside waiting. We were sweating bullets just standing in line waiting and couldn't wait to get outta there. I'm glad I had a ride today or I would have been stranded and melting. The construction fan was no help, just hot air. The poor staff had to work in that sauna of an environment. Despite the horrible working condition, they still stay committed, greeted customers, running around, in and out of the store. Come corporate , take care of your staff and customers too. I gotta give a big shot out to the manager operating the shop so well, assisting his staff and taking the initiative of helping or give instructions rather than just waiting for the staff to go to him. The company is lucky to have a valuable manager like, so committed from what I've seen from other tire shop managers. It was close to closing and they still had a few customers waiting. He was still out there operating the shop, not rushing. We even got a big thanks guys for coming when we were getting in our car. read more

I popped over to this location just to put air in my tires. They have a designated technician doing that (for freeeee) and he was friendly. This is such an easy solution to doing it myself, which is tedious in itself and sometimes hard to find gas stations that have the machines.
