After service I noticed the slight but consistent oil leak I had going on had increased dramatically to the point that I was leaving huge oil puddles in a parking spot after a minimum of two hours. As of the date of this post, my car began to overheat, and when I popped the trunk I noticed that there was antifreeze on the engine. None of these problems were occurring with my vehicle before the oil change, it was noticeable by next day. I am hoping that it's an oversight that they will be able to acknowledge and willing to make right.

The technician who worked on my car was just as courteous. He explained everything as he went, including the issue we had finding my wheel lock key. He was able to remove the tire, locate the nail, and repair it without any problems. The best part? They repaired my tire for FREE. That made the price very attractive, so I went in right away to get the tires replaced. The entire process took about 1.5 hours, and I spent the time walking around the area. Read the negative reviews if you're thinking about visiting this location! The good reviews are fake/paid for because there is no way. Watch out for the staff, mostly idiots and trained to up sell you tires. I called ahead and got a quote of $45 per tire plus $16 for installation or $58 per tire for a slightly better tire. Went in and the salesman told me they dont have any tires nearly that cheap and that for all four it would run me about $700. Until I asked to speak to the man that quoted me over the phone and then suddenly he remembered "those" tires. Then tried to tell me how cheap they were and imported from china. He was trying to make me feel stupid for wanting them and I told him sorry thats all I could afford. He was visibly upset with me and charged me for the warranty, literally right after I told him I didn't need it. I had to get my money refunded by a different employee. So I left my car and went across the street to get some food. Big mistake because I got a call about 20 minutes later letting me know that my car wouldn't start. This is the first time this has ever happened and I an 100% sure they drained the battery somehow. When I got back I told the manager that Im sure the employee drained the battery and he didnt say anything but told me he'd help me jump it. He was so nervous that he was physically shaking while trying to jump my car. I asked for a refund and went to the location in glendale, much nicer and way more helpful. read more

The initial impression here was great. They are polite and informative on the phone. You pull up and they'll valet your car and you're helped almost immediately. The reps are similarly helpful and polite in the store. They have a wide selection of tires, though it's best to order ahead. They were a bit limited in selection for my fat tires, kind of an uncommon size. Most of the prices are decent IMO. They will offer an honest opinion of each model tire's specs without trying to upsell you (too much). As with any tire store, the best deal is when purchasing 4. It seemed it was an especially busy Saturday. I was prepared to wait a bit. I didn't expect the 1 1/2 hour ETA to change two tires to stretch well past 3 hours. If the ETA was more accurate, I could have made better arrangements. The tire change took so long that I was late to my fantasy football draft. It's a league with a bunch of other attorneys, so you know it's serious business. I missed out on a few players, including TODD GURLEY, the running back for your Los Angeles Rams. I'm a Rams fan, so for this loss alone, America's Tire is lucky this isn't a one star review. The location isn't especially convenient for walking to lunch or shopping. It helps to have company along for the wait. Perhaps they can give you a ride, or Uber down the block to PCC or Paseo. Overall a positive experience. But I wouldn't recommend going here if you're in a hurry read more

Really problematic place to be. I took my vehicle here and they entered in the wrong information about it and put the incorrect wheels and tires on my car. This resulted in some serious problems including damage to both my fender liners. They tried to say there was a "no return policy" on the wheels but since they made a major mistake and I was very irate they were able to return the policies. Just to mess with me I called them later and they said my car was ready. When I showed up they changed their story saying the car was not ready. I will be taking my car to Pep Boys from now and will never go here again. Furthermore I had a family member help pick up my car since I live far away and the sales associate made up a story saying that he thought I was going to assault him. This is something I take very seriously and most definitely not a place I would do business with. Very rude and unprofessional staff and a "sales driven" attitude with poor people skills. read more

I came in to check the air in my tires and found out my tires were actually in poor condition. While I was still in my car getting a tire estimate, my battery suddenly died and my car wouldn't start. The team at America's Tire in Pasadena immediately stepped in to help -- they moved my car, brought equipment to try to charge the battery, and did everything they could while I waited for AAA. Even with that unexpected stress, they made the tire purchase process easy and smooth. I got the tires I wanted at a great price, and the whole experience felt honest and professional. The staff was friendly, patient, and truly cared about helping me. Not once did they make me feel like I was a burden or inconvenience. This place seems like a bank where you deposit large sums of money with hopes of greater your investment only to find out you probably should have invested else where. Seemingly overpriced items such as tires where it sees they give you the highest quote possible then amazingly find a price that they should have stated in the first place. But, the dagger in the heart was being told I should consider replacing my wheel lug nuts because the current ones were really hard to remove and that the replacement lug investment would be $190.00 for a full set of lugs for all wheels. I found similar or in most cases identical lug nuts on line for $40.00 ! Total highway robbery by America's Tire store. Sad commentary and they had a consistent lineup of bank depositors waiting to be fleeced. read more

1/30/25 purchased tires and tire pressure sensors for my Chevy Tahoe today for $2100. Tire sensors did not work after install. Asst Manager Juan told me to drive the car for a bit and they would reset. Did what he said, one still does not work. Back to the store. After nearly three hours of waiting Juan said they could not figure out what was wrong. He refunded the cost of the tire sensors but what a waste of time. No apology for their lack of skill or knowledge and my inconvenience. His only resolution was to order even more sensors to see if they would work.... No guarantee... And again, I would need to return again and waste more time. And again, yes amazingly so, there was no apology for inconvenience and wasted time. read more

I love the generic photo used as the default picture. I went to the store in Costa Mesa and had zero problems with staff not making degrading jokes in the background. After taking my SUV here, they made me wait after I made an appointment and also acted very immature and disrespectful towards me. Maybe it's the area and east Pasadena for you but I would never go to this location again. Very tasteless atmosphere and the information they have in regards to vehicles is inaccurate. Poor inventory and selection with different information given from each employee you talk to. Poor management and organization. I am surprised this place is still in business. I called up America's tire today to see if they had the tires I was looking for. Joe right away asked me the price I have seen shopping around so he could price match it if needed. The price he gave me was about the lowest I have seen shopping around. He was very polite and professional. On top of the tires being the best price that I have found I saved an additional 10$ on each tire with my AAA membership. Everyone was friendly and professional. I am definitely going back soon to pick a set of tires for my wife's car. read more

Absolutely, hands down, best place to go if you want your tires put on backwards and you're looking for a way out! One of my tires was put on backwards and blew up on the freeway the day I got my tires replaced here. They also scratched my rim while putting a tire on in a hurry. Although I would recommend that you make an appointment, this place will still take good care of you if you don't. Came in on a Saturday afternoon to get a tire check and rotation. Very friendly and approachable staff. Took my keys and started working on my tires right away. I expected to wait at least an hour but was done within 45 minutes. Horrible. The guy lied to me about how long it would take. Not until I arrived, he suddenly said it would take longer. This is the SECOND TIME they did a bait and switch. As an attorney, I could sue them for $100 million class action - I just don't have the time or I would - they're so stupid treating people like this. Please be careful when you leave your car with them over night. I got a parking citation while I left my car with them. I am shocked today when I received the parking citation from the city, and yet they have never said anything when I was there picking up my car.
