Our appointment was at 2pm to replace 4 tires but something came up and we went early around 11:30am and they said they would be able to finish within an hour even on a busy Sunday. We went to grab a quick lunch nearby and the car was ready as promised. So efficient!! A week later, ran over a bolt and five minutes before the shop closed the manager authorized an immediate replacement tire. You really need to put aside all the tire stores you've shopped at because America's Tires -- the company, not just the Pasadena store -- does anything to keep you happy. Here are my three experiences: 1. Our old tires were failing, so while traveling in Arizona, we had America's Tire replace the four Michelins. After driving on them for about 2 months, I realized the tires weren't performing well -- too much squish. Back home, the Pasadena store replaced them with four new, steel-ribbed Michelins. I paid the price difference, but there was no hassle, no argument, no nonsense. Easy peasy. 2. A year later, I realized the air valves didn't work well on our wheels -- they were hard to get to when checking the air pressure. While going in for a routine tire rotation, I mentioned it and shazaam, the store replaced the stems. Again, no hassle and no charge. (Considering that they had to remove four tires from the wheels and rebalance each tire, I found this a remarkable service.) 3. This last week, during a rotation, I mentioned that the spare was in really poor shape. Without flinching, the store manager, Joe, went out back and found a decent tire I could use as a spare. The charge? Zero. I guess the question you need to ask when shopping for tires is -- will Costco do what America's Tires routinely does? I don't think so. read more

Best America's Tire store in the area. Much easier to deal with than the Glendale store which only has two bays. I think they have about 4-5 bays at this location. PRICE MATCH YOUR TIRES. Find them online, possibly even within driving distance, and get the best price. Why not? Ray is rad. Most of them are pretty friendly and for a tire shop, even though it is a chain, they have friendly service and a good selection. They are probably worth the drive from within 20-30 minutes. read more

Both cars are in need of new tires. Today I had our Volvo done and next week, our Mini Cooper. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by a friendly knowledgeable employee who didn't try to up sell me. They were very competitive on price, even beating Costco. I'll start by saying that I've spent about $2,500 in tires here for two vehicles in the last 18 months. I was provided great service when I purchased the tires. Today I came in because the TPMS light was going off on one of my cars. Andrew was the gentleman who helped me out. I told him what the issue was and then proceeded to walk out to the car. He went ahead and checked the air pressure in my tires. He then asked me to pull into one of the bays. I have to say that I overheard that they had 22 other vehicles awaiting for service. After pulling into the bay, Andrew went ahead filled up all of my tires. He even went under the car to fill up the spare. He told me that cold temperatures causes issues with tire pressure. All five tires were down to 27 lbs from 32 lbs. After Andrew was done, he thanked me for coming in. Andrew was absolutely awesome without even asking my name / phone number / address, etc etc or if I was even a current customer. I thanked him for the great service that he had provided. I did tell him that I was a current customer. That right there is what I call service with a smile. Thanks Andrew! read more

I came to this location since it was the closest store with my size tires. The staff was friendly, courteous and the tires I needed were priced very well and since I had an appointment my car was ready in roughly 45-50 min. The issues occurred once my car was brought out to me and I noticed that they did not rotate my tires, like I requested, and there were huge globs of grease all over my wheels. I pointed it out to the service guy the issues and to please correct it and clean the wheels. My wheels were clean when I brought it in, please wipe the grease off the wheels. He apologized and returned the car to the garage to address my concerns. While I was inside the lobby I pointed out the same issues that were supposed to be addressed and could he please make sure that everything was fine. He assured me it would be "taken care of". My car was brought out to me 10-15 min later with the tires rotated but the grease still all over my wheels, being my only day off I decided to leave and clean them again myself and not deal with any issues. Within 5 miles of leaving the store I had two of the weights that are supposed to balance my wheels, fall off two different wheels and at this point I'm going to stop at another location on my next day off and have this addressed. Any bit of trust I had in this particular location has been diminished. AS A NOTE TO THE STORE OWNER. STOP rushing the employees for numbers sake, it would be nice to have your employees follow thru with concerns without being rushed which causes these kinds of problems to happen in the first place. read more

I am going to add to this review soon but in short they don't honor the tire warranty when its not convenient to them. I paid for tire warranty and they suggested that the tire alignment is off. The car is a 911 Porsche the alignment from the factory has camber to ensure performance. It seems that Tire America is not aware of the fact and therefore they are using some extra wear as an excuse not to honor the tire warranty. read more

I am not sure what my lifetime value as a tire customer is. I'm guessing it is decent enough. I drive a lot. So do my four kids. And up until this morning, America's Tires had my loyalty. No longer. Not after being left to stand in pouring rain in front of their Pasadena store this morning along with 12 or so other customers. All while inside, the store's staff made coffee, had a morning huddle, etc. Plenty of room for all of us to get inside ... but the staff chose otherwise. Our attempts through the windows to request "early entrance" were met w/smiles and thumbs up. Funny thing ... once we were let in, manager Joe made no attempt to apologize for the early morning soaking we received. Just one excuse after another. Ironically, I happened to notice the store's "goal" board in their back room. Ironically, one of their W.I.G. (wildly important goals) is to improve customer service. This morning it would have been as easy as opening the door fifteen minutes early and showing a little human kindness. Not to mention expected customer service. Oh well ... there's that Costco right down the road. Next time. read more

When I drove into the parking lot the "greeter" was rude to me and scolded me, told me I had to wait in line like everyone else and could not drop off tires. He said he wouldn't take them. Their prices up front aren't bad but their customer service after the fact is terrible. I had a screw in my tire and came in on spec without making an appointment. Well, that was my mistake, I guess. The guy who checked me in said the wait time was 1 hour, the guy at the desk inside told me 2, and after having waited 2 hours they still hadn't even started on it. I had to go so I made an appointment and left. I came back with an appointment, still had an hour wait, but whatever. Joe helped me and he was good. There was a problem with the tire and it needed replacing, so I made an appointment and came back a third time. I came early, but the guy who checked me in didn't put me in the queue, so I waited another hour for nothing. Made another appointment to try to get my replacement tire,but am having trouble finding an appointment for a time when Joe is there. It shouldn't have to be this hard. Never go without making an appointment, and don't trust their system. If you need customer service, be prepared to fight them for it. read more

Don't place any online orders or schedule service online, it is a waste of your time. I placed an order a week ago, ordering four tires and scheduling my appointment. Today I came to the store, and they didn't want to see my order/appointment. They tried to sell me a different set of tires, more expensive that the once I order. I showed them the printed confirmation of my order and on their system they had -4 since they never ordered. I end up going to Pep boys a few block from them, with no appointments and end up paying less money and only took them 45 minutes to change the four tires. read more

Just got off from a long day at work. Start to head home and I notice my tire pressure is low. Sure enough there is a screw stuck in my tire. I had a freak out moment because my usual tire shop was to far away. Search on yelp and found this awesome place. I stopped in to see what they can do. I expected to pay about $40-$60 for a repair. I was really surprised when they told me they repair small patches like these for free as long as it a good tire and has enough thread. Extremely Relieved. So I decided to call America's Tire. Gus was super sweet and referred me to a towing service they use regularly. I've always had a great experience here. Usually I come for the free tire rotation for my car, but this time I needed new tires all around. I made an appointment online for 8:45 a.m. When I arrived I was greeted and only had to wait a minute to be seen. Zack was the guy who helped me. He was really nice and had great customer service skills. I was in and out within an hour. Granted, this was on a Wednesday morning. If I had come on a Saturday it would have been a different story. Saturdays are always super crowded. I guess it helped making an appointment though. These guys are the best and are really price competitive. I've been disappointed by tire center services around town so I decided to try this place to fix a slow leak in one of my tires. I expected to pay a small fee for the fix but I was told that the service would be free. On top of that the service tech balanced and rotated my tires on top of fixing a small nail puncture in my tire. You can't get much better service than this.
