I came out to my truck after work around 4pm and found one of my tires almost completely flat. I called these guys half expecting them to say they didn't have time. Surprisingly, they said to bring it in. Despite the fact it was a tire that was original to my vehicle (not purchased from American tire) they fixed it for hardly anything, got me in the shop within minutes of me arriving and had everything wrapped up and ready to go in less that an hour. After being screwed over by Sears Automotive (NEVER go to any location of theirs) Discount helped me out quickly at the end of the day with a pair of new tires. One of the wheel cover was installed in such a way as to make access to the valve stem impossible and the other valve stem caps were loose. I corrected the problem rather then returning to the store but I will mention it at my next visit. read more

I recently went to America's Tire to get two new tires. The incompetent employees had put two new tires on....but they were the wrong tires. So I had wasted 1 hour for them to put the wrong tires on. Also when replacing the tires they had managed to damge my hub cap... which is the 2nd hub cap they have damaged on my vehicle in less than a year. This is the third awful experience I have encountered at this store. read more

Got here before opening at 8. Purchased my tires and left for almost the whole hour they told me it would take. When I returned my car had not even been taken in the shop. I see car after car that is completed leave that was not here when I got here. I asked andthey has given prederence to cars with later appointment. I got some world class service here! Went into the store late on a wednesday evening, around 5:45, and none of the staff gave me the usual "annoying customer coming in right before closing" look. One couple even came in AT 6 and they were still treated the same way that any other customers would have been. I had a nail in my tire, and I'm always very suspicious of tire places that immediately tell me it cannot be repaired and that I need a new tire. So I was concerned it would happen again. Quite the contrary! They took my car in, I waited for about 20 minutes, and I expected them to come consult with me about repairing costs. Instead the technician came out and said I was all fixed up and ready to go! I was shocked! I asked how much I owed them and he said they repaired it for free and just ask that when I need new tires I come back to them. And come back I will! My experience put a smile on my face and made my day! Best service I've ever received anywhere! read more

It exceded my expectations. I was just looking for good prices. On my first call Jose gave me the best quote around. When I called for an appointment, James was very attentive, flexible and gave me a very reasonable time slot. When I got there, John closed the deal by giving the kind of attention you get at a nice resaurant. Since they are an authorized Michellin dealer, he gave me an on-site proration on the miles I did not get out of my old tires from another dealer (just make sure you have original and all 5k rotation receipts!). The staff here is always very helpful and knowledgeable. We recently took my daughters car in to have them check a tire that was losing air slowly. They fixed the problem and checked all the other tires for correct pressure and wear. The tires on the car were not purchased from them, but since we have bought tires from them for our other cars, they didn't charge us anything for repairing the tire on our daughters car. I would highly recommend checking them out for tire needs. read more

Would not honor wheel warranty. The wheels have a 1 year finish warranty and rust popped thru the chrome finish within the 1 year. I was told that since they saw water spots on the wheel, I did not properly maintain the wheels and the rust was my fault. I was offered a 10% discount from the wheel distributor and an additional 10% discount from America's Tire Co. After spending over $650 for the wheels, they wanted me to spend another $500+ on a replacement set of wheels. read more

Had a bad tire in front so decided to buy two on 9/9/13. It was near closing and Geoffrey helped me. Came out and looked at my tires and recommended four and said would give me some trade in credit on the three but I said I would just go with two. Gave me 10.00 trade in credit for one of my tires and helped me out on the price a little. Got me out of there in 30 minutes. On Wednesday I decide I want to get two more and complete the set. I go to the website and find if I would have bought the four together I would have got a 30.00 gift card. Well, I figure Geoffrey will give me 10.00 per tire trade in credit on my two remaining tires. They are out of stock but I still want to give them business so Geoffrey orders them for me on Wednesday and they arrive today Friday (9/13/13). I go to have them installed but when I say Geoffrey had offered me trade in credit the other guy is like "no, they are too old" but I say he gave me credit on the other one that was the same condition on Monday. He looks up the invoice and sees the trade in credit but says "there is nothing I can do with them." But he does offer do cancel out the other invoice and put the four together (to get the rebate)on this one but I decline and he gives me the same price that Geoffrey gave me on Monday. I am out in under 30 minutes and car drives smooth. The only thing I don't get is: 1. Did Geoffrey give me the trade in credit just to help me out even if he couldn't use the tire? He was in a good mode Monday night, joking around and friendly. Maybe that was the reason. 2. I could have waited and talked to him but just was kinda disappointed so just said put the tires on but if Geoffrey had told me I could get a 30 gift card and some trade in credit I would have bought all four on Monday night (I used my Car Care Card). This is probably my only slightly negative experience I have ever had with any America's tire co store. The certs come in handy and if you drive around the major cities of California and Las Vegas there are stores that will always help you out. read more

Today's visit will be my last! I've been an America's Tire Store customer for over 7 years and have had multiple vehicles serviced here. I brought in my 2000 VW this morning for a tire rotation. I brought a new car in May so this car has become my weekend tooling around car. Since it gets minimal driving time and few monthly miles, its last tire-rotation was 14 months ago. All that being said, 15 mins. after dropping it off this morning I received a call saying I had a damaged bolt on my rear passenger tire and that I would need to take it somewhere else to have it repaired " because we don't do that kind of work here." When I asked the store manager, Jose, what caused this problem since it had only had its tires serviced at this store, he replied it had been two years since they'd seen it......NO that is incorrect....Dec. 2013 to present is 14 months!! He went on to say, "its an older vehicle, its not being driven much, and this is typical of older cars. Blah blah blah. Basically, Jose didn't want to assume any responsibility that this may have been an issue that occurred when I last had it serviced Because my tire rotation is a free service since I purchased the tires at this store, no financial gain is resulting from my patronage. I've been a loyal customer but their not making any money off my visits. Oddly enough....I asked for a tire price quote when I dropped it off realizing a new set of tires will be needed in the foreseeable future. I will certainly be taking my business else where, especially since they can't even explain why this situation has occurred to begin with. On a positive note, there was a young man by the name of Daniel who initially assisted me. He was very professional and polite. As for the rest of the staff I had the misfortune of dealing with today, they need to remember it's not what you say but more importantly, "how you say it!" In the end, I was made to feel dismissed and like this was "my problem" ....moving on! read more

I recently purchased some new rims for my car and had them sent to my house. I needed new tires so i shopped around and found some with good reviews and decent price. I called americas tire asking if they price matched they said they did so i thought okay sounds good. I get them put on yesterday and request for my rims AND tires back because my stock rims are cast aluminium and tires still had tread on them about 50% up front and 30% in the back( i recently had them rotated at newton brothers in seaside). At the end of the night pretty much being rushed out they try stealing all four of my rims and tires. They did however steal one of the good tires with 50% tread life on them and all valve stem covers from my stock rims and new rims. They didnt let me review the invoice charged my $144 for a tire that was suppose to be price matched at $124. Charged without even asking for the free replacement, which they are suppose to ask if yo want and also charged for environmental and waste fee which doesnt make sense because i have 3 of my tires and i know for a fact they will sell my one good missing tire for money on the side. Stay away from this place it is shady. read more
