I would like to share my experience with people about Americas tire. This location is like all the other locations in that the customer service they have is wonderful. I cant tell people enough about how great this company has been to me .. They always try to get me in asap even if i just want my tires and wheels balanced .. (which is always free) I love that !! I called this loction to ask if they could rotate my tires and they told me they had time and that there is no charge for it. When I went there it got busy I saw a few people walk in... Anyways when the guy saw my tires he right away said "ohhhhh I cant touch them there are cracks on the tires" which I couldnt see. He said these tires are old they were made 2012. I knew right away that he was trying to scare me off just by being a women! I told him I purchased them 2014 and that the car drives below the average mile in a year and that the rear tire thread was at least 75% left while honestly the front tires were 20% left... just because I never rotated them. Anyways he refused to TOUCH THEM because they got busy at that moment and that was just free work he didnt wanted to do instead he tried scaring me off so I can buy new tires. After that I went to a car wash and I sprayed my tires with a wheel cleaner and checked out my tires myself. There were miniiiiiii cracks which almost every tire gets from pressure not even deep so not a big deal! My husband drives with a piece cut off his tire around for months... not saying its a good idea but not a reason NOT TO ROTATE TIRES and TRY TO SCARE A WOMEN OFF!Autoshops for me personally are known for putting too much air in the tire that expands the "rubber" etc. and it can lead to cracks aswell. Since I learned how to do it myself I recommend it to everyone else too... just go to a gas station and do it yourself! Dont ever let anyone scare you off and ask for several opinions! read more

I was in need of 4 new tires...my husband got his new tires here so I decided to call them to get a pricing for my car. I wanted middle brand tires...something with 60-65k miles. I called and they gave me a price which i thought was ok reasonable. Unknowingly my husband called them about the same time I did (he was at work) and they gave him a better deal and better tires!! It was more than a hundred dollar difference then what they told me!! I was beyond pissed...why because I am a woman they thought oh she won't know the difference. Well I decided to give my business elsewhere and drove to Fremont where I know the guys won't judge me because I'm a female....and even got a better price than they gave my husband for the same tires!! Very impressed. New to Tracy and was trying out America's Tire for the first time. I ordered some tires from their website, and they got them in from SoCal in just a few day and set me up with an appointment to install on the weekend. I've come back to 4 different shops and have had 16, yes 16 different tires on my truck, and have been back to have rebalancing 15 times!!!!!! Manager went above and beyond to fix an order that was messed up. One star for now. Ordered a set of tires on Saturday, they said they'd be available today for installation, I took a day off to get this sorted. Turns out they didn't place the order until the 2nd time I called for an update today. I am really not pleased as I wasted an entire day and am left holding the bill the rest of the week. I went here to purchase new tires for my car after getting a quote from Walmart. I'm so glad I came here rather than having Walmart help me out. I walked in and Edwin helped me out in finding the tires that best fit me budget wise/quality for my car. I ended up getting the LS588 LandSail Tires. These tires are generic but they work amazing! My car now rides smoothly and I received a great price for all tires! Although the customer service can be a slight bit better. I wasn't sure what was going on the whole time.. they kept walking away without letting me know. Just minor customer service etiquette. Other than that they're a really good tire shop and will get you fixed or installed in no time! They installed all 4 tires within 10 minutes! I'll be going back to get my tires rotated soon. read more

I can't say enough about these guys. I go in for a free tire pressure check periodically and they are very nice and professional!! I just went in again because the 'low tire pressure monitor' alerted me that I had one tire low. I dealt with 3 different guys there, all very professional and courteous!!! This place is and will always be my place for anything regarding tires for my car and my family's car!!! I just moved to Tracy and needed my front drivers side tire replaced. I just bought these from a competitor (wheel works) two years ago and only 29,000 miles had been driven on them. After the inspection, I was told all 4 tires needed to be replaced as they were all breaking up. I, as a single mom, freaked out because I knew how much I spent two years ago. Zach and his manager Niema, took amazing care of me. They got me into 4 new tires at a price I could afford, and they were quick and so thorough. Wow, seriously, holy cannoli batman, I can't even find the words. Oh, here they are, these guys are amazing. I had a nail in my tire and had to keep putting air in it every couple days because I couldn't afford to have it fixed or replaced. I finally made my way to America's Tires and I am still in shock from the service these guys provide. I got a tire rotation for FREE, my tire with the nail was pretty much shot so they had to replace it with a used tire which was done for FREE. Whaaaaat?? Yep, these guys know how to gain a loyal customer for life, I will never even consider going anywhere else for tires. Way to go America's Tires and thank you Ryan for all your help! Went in today as my cars light for tires was on. I thought maybe I had a nail or something. I tell the guy why I came so they can check my tires for a nail and rotate them since I was there. He proceeds to check tire depth with his gauge and tells me 2 tires need to be replaced. Mind you I purchased these tires there almost 1 year to the date. So he tells me they will prorate them I drove 20k miles on 1 year and they were now no good on 55k mile tires. So he sells me better ones supposedly that will hopefully make it past 1 year. They rotate my tires and the other 2 tires I purchased at walmart 2 to 3 years prior were still in good shape. They are just there to sell you more tires. I highly doubt I needed new ones. You could still easily see a good amount of tread. I will never go back. Buyer be aware. read more

It's been my first time to go for any tire work and they gave me free flat tire repair and on top of that they make my car ready in less than 20 minutes. I was an auto broker in California for 8 years and have been using America's tire for 16 years. No one has their inventory and they always keep their word. The prices are unbeatable and the service is wonderful. I lived in Manteca at the end of 2011 and my tire went flat while outside my house. I wasn't sure if I could make it to the Tracy A.T. so I stopped at the Manteca Les Schwab. I was told my tire wasn't patchable and instantly being sold a new set of rear tires. After I hit the brakes and backed off the salesman I asked him if I could make it to Tracy as-is. He once again tried to sell me. I got on the phone with American and they were about to close. The manager told me to take my time and he would stay open for me. It took me a bit to get there driving 55, but there he was waiting for me in the tire bay. While my tire was being inspected and patched another problem was found. I had a screw in the same tire the L.S. employee didn't see. I want to start off with saying I have four vehicles and only go to America Tires for over the past 10 years. I use to go to the one in Fremont and never have had issues. However, since moving to Tracy and dealing with this America Tires here has been a opposite experience. Over the last couple years here in Tracy this facility continues to let me down. Most recent I bought my wife some used rims and new tires that they said was a great deal. After buying these rims and tires we had problems with car shaking at higher speeds. After several trips to balance and even had one rim scratched due to poor handling, I was told the rim was bent. Then I was told they would make it right since the rim they scratched and was supposed to be replaced, never got ordered twice and now they can't get that rim. So now they tell me they will replace the rims to make it right. I was advised by dealership I could have suspension damage due to so much vibration. My wife comes down to meet manager. Manager gives her a sales associate and they agreed on rims to replace the ones I have had trouble with. My wife asked several times if there was additional cost and was told no multiple times. Rims come in, I bring in car and now manager says they made a mistake and I should pay more for the rims. Even after I made it clear I was not looking to spend more money and told there was no cost, when I come to get them I am told I will have to pay $140 dollars. Car shakes so bad I had to agree to get this resolved. I may or may not do business with America tires ever again. But if I do, i will never do it with this Tracy location. Maybe I go back to Wheel works where I never had issues. Disappointing. I was advised by another shop to get the issue fixed somewhere else and turn them into BOA, Business of automotive. I hope the shaking is over once these rims go on now. read more

Got a set of new tires for a great price. Watch out for your rims as the young kids purposely cracked it to get another sale to buy rims. I watched him put his full body weight for over 5 mins then a sales person comes and said it is cracked. If it was cracked from the beginning he would have noticed right away. Tell me after 5 minutes after putting your full body weight on it doesn't fly with me. I shouldnt have purchased rims but I needed to leave. I watched a few video on YouTube to see how others change the tire using the machine. Not one person pushed their full body weight into the rims for over 5 minutes then somehow someway didn't notice it was cracked. BS!! Speaking to the manager today regarding this. I had to replace the rims. Not a happy customer. Demanding a full refund on the rims. Or one call to Michael Finny.. Let's see how this plays out. Crooks!! Not a happy customer. read more

Let me start off saying I used this place multiple times over the last ten years, with six different vehicles.. I recently brought a new vehicle to swap rims and tires. I explained what in needed with an associate at the counter and even walked outside and explained it again. When we walked back into the store he asked me, "So explain it again what you want. I assisted him in writing my order and even had him type please call me if there were any questions! I had to leave the car over night and would pick it up early the next morning to leave town. The next day I saw vehicle outside and noticed they had not followed the simple request. I had to wait another hours and was late to leave. They stated they would compensate me but when it came time to pay they didn't and I had to leave! I will be shopping at round for my business soon! read more

We purchased tires here over a year ago. We come by to get tires checked. Have them put air in the tires and rotate our tires. You get all of that for free if you've purchased tires here before. Even then, putting air in your tires are free for anyone. They've always had great customer service. Attentive and they work very hard! FOR THOSE LEAVING BAD REVIEWS FOR THE LONG WAIT...THEN MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. YOU CAN EASILY DO IT ONLINE. Everytime we try to just stop by the wait is either an hour or two. So I made an appt online, came on time, and I'm next as we speak. There's only few of them with two hands. Give them a break. I applaude them for not closing so late and being closed on sundays. I was a bit disappointed after having to wait nearly 2 hours when told it would only take 45 minutes to have my tires changed. The guy half cleaned the tires. Everything looked very messy. If i am going to wait that long i expect premium service. COMMUNICATION IS KEY. I used to get tires changed here but i was reminded why i had stopped coming here. Sometimes saving a few dollars in not worth the hassle. Will have to see how long these tires last. read more

Last week I got a flat tire and came here to have it patched up. They were very friendly and quick to help. I didn't have much time before I needed to get back to work and they were great about it, getting it taken care as as they could. I was on my way in no time, they did a great job and I haven't had any issues since.
