They do a great job. I have three cars with tires from Americas Tire and they do everything they say they will do. I buy the tire warranty and it has paid off twice with a new tire for no charge. I had two tires that did not live up to their mileage guarantee and Americas Tire gave me full credit towords a new set. BUT Always check your prices! Sears saved me $75.00 on a set of identical tires last time I purchased. Americas Tire would not match the price. For $25 I would have used Americas Tire but not for a $75.00 difference. read more

We have had several experiences with the America's Tire Co location in Tracy - all of which have been EXCELLENT. So, I decided to come share that with Yelp users. My MIL purchased new set of tires and wheels and got a great deal and financing options and we bought a set of 4 tires for our son's car and today we went in because we had a nail (turns out there were two of them) in our vehicle's front tire. The asst manager Chris remembered us (from months earlier) and even remembered the details of my son's car - that the passenger window couldn't be rolled up/down because the motor was broken (at that time). Service today (as on previous visits) was top notch, just above and beyond. They patched our tire no charge, while we waited. We were warned, in advance, of the long wait times (because it was a busy Saturday). We are so appreciative that they were able to "fix" our tire and for FREE, because the local car dealership just prior to coming to America's Tire Co. told us that it could NOT be patched and the only option they gave was two new tires at $224 each! Today was my first time visiting this location. I called ahead and made an appointment for 2:45. I showed up about 10 minutes late because traffic was worse than I had expected. I was helped by a nice man named Alex who was very nice and still accommodating since I had been late for my appointment. Alex did a really great job at helping me find the perfect tires for my car, considering how long i drive and my luck with tires. I was happy! While sitting there waiting for my car, there was another guy (very rude) who was getting really heated over his car not being done yet. This guy arrived just after I had, and didn't have an appointment. He started complaining rather heatedly to Kevin, about the fact that his car hadn't been taken back yet and how it'd already been over half an hour. I had been waiting for 15 minutes, and this guy got there after I had. Kevin very politely reminded that guy that his car was one of the next few to be taken back, and and that it only takes about 15-20 minutes to put his new tires on. It was so busy even the manager Troy was out there helping the guys out. The guy starts raising his voice about how the job was going to take another 45 minutes, and he was going to be late. This Jerk- Face demanded something be refunded for "wasting his time." Kevin told him that wouldn't be a problem, and he would help him right after he finished with the other customer. A few minutes after this guy gets his undeserved courtesy refund of sorts, he tells Kevin that he needs to pick something up right now, and needs to be there by 4. Kevin could see out the window that his car was almost done and reminded the guy of this. Suddenly Jerk-Face asks Kevin "do you have a car?" Kevin replies "Yes, i do." Jerk-Face demands Kevin to give him his keys so he can drive to go pick up his other car from the shop that just so happens to close at 4 (who the hek does that!?). Kevin stopped helping his customer, and offers to arrange for someone to take this guy where he needed to go. I was so incredibly impressed by how well Kevin handled himself! This guy was so rude to him multiple times, and he was nothing but polite! Shame on you Jerk-Face for being a dumb dumb. Kevin, Alex, and Troy, you guys were awesome! read more

They fixed the flat tire free of charge and in 15 mins. I brought my mr2 for tire change recently. Manager told me that the guy who did my tire rotation did it wrong as my tires are directional and should not be rotated. He re rotated my tires for free. We punctured a tire on a brand new Audi. Ran over some metal debris and by the time we got to the tire store the wall of the tire had started to go. The guys at America's Tire showed me how and why the tire had to be replaced vs repaired. I've used these guys before for rims and tires and I trust their judgment. They were able to call a supplier after hours for our specific tire, a Pirelli P7, and pushed the guy to commit to delivering it the following morning. This was at 6:10 in the evening so they caught the guy on his way out but he agreed to make it happen. Score 1. The tire was in the store the next morning. My wife took the car with the donut tire installed to America's Tire where they mounted the rim with the new tire (It was ready when we got there as I'd left the rim with them). She was in and out in a jiffy. They replaced the donut in it's proper place and secured it down. She was out of there with no fuss. I opted to buy warranty coverage for all four tires, which they have even if you didn't buy the tires there. So all four tires on the Audi are covered even though we only replaced one. The tires are all brand new as we've had the car less than a week. Score 2. Next day I took my Silverado to them for a tire check and they told me it was time for new tires and again showed me why that was the case. I was under the illusion I had maybe another winter's worth of wear on them. Not so, I was down to the tread bars. Opted for Michelins at a great price with a $70 mail in/online rebate and full 70,000 mile warranty. The tires were recommended by Niema, one of the Managers. I was looking at the big gnarly treaded tires, more for looks than anything, but we discussed it and as most of my miles are on the road rather than off, the MichelinLTX Mud/Snow was the best option. The tires are quiet as a church mouse and smooth as silk. I'd gotten used to the road noise and put it down to driving a truck. Now it's like floating on a cloud. They had them on within 45 minutes. I wandered over to Starbucks, then grabbed a Pita at the new Pita joint and when I got back they were done. Score 3. I recommend these guys wholeheartedly. honest service, great pricing and quality products. read more

Friday morning, 7:30AM 5/9/2015. Had a large screw imbedded in my Subaru's tire, and it was slowly losing air. Called Costco, they only repair the tires they sold. Spee-Dee doesn't repair tires and the list goes on. Running low on time I called America's Tire Co. and was told to bring my car in. They fixed my flat within a half an hour and they did it for free!!! They have earned my future my business. read more

Since America's Tire opened in Tracy, I have purchased 5 sets of tires from them for three different vehicles. Three of the visits went OK, but on two occasions they have cross-threaded a lug nut. The first time it happened, I was unaware of the problem until my tire went flat and I could not get the lug nut off. Ultimately, I had to break the lug off to remove the wheel. The second time it happened, I caught the problem when I returned home and checked all the lug nuts, In both cases, I had to take my vehicles to Livermore for repair. They paid for the repairs but I ate the cost and time taking my car to Livermore for the repair. Also, they seem to frequently over-torque the lug nuts so when I go there I always request that they tighten the lugs using a torque wrench instead of the air wrench. Why do I continue to go back? Because they will match the lower tire prices I find on the internet from places like Tire Rack and other sites. read more

I bought my Mustang's tires from them about five years ago and I have been going to this location since and every time I get great service, the young men there are always polite and friendly. When I make an appointment to have my tires rotated they get me in and out within in 20 minutes. When I drop in they still do fast and efficient work and their always nice. I worked with michael and he not only got an awesome price for me but helped me out more than any other company. Truly friendly and just really cared. I had a screw stuck in tire I bought elsewhere and guess what they fixed it no charge and said to come back if I needed it to be addressed again. I saw them remove the screw do great adhesive work. The checked the tire'a pressure and also have me a guarantee on a tire they did not install. They of course will still be getting my business but also saved me money in the long run. The first rep. I spoke to recommended I get new tires. When I returned 1 month later, a different rep told me I probably had another 10,000 miles left. My tires had a 75,000 mile warranty yet 36000 miles later, I'm told I need new tires. Their warranty only helped reduce the cost of new tires by about $190. Think I'll go somewhere else next time but not Sears Auto Center. They're the worst. read more

If you have to drop in on them they will fit you in and get you in and out as fast as they can. Their policy with fixing a flat and replacing a tire is superb! I recently took my SUV in to have a flat tire replaced. Within a few hours of getting it replaced I realized the front end was shaking horribly and making an awful sound. For some reason (I'll blame the fact that I was exhausted that weekend) - It never occurred to me that it could be related to the new tire (I know - I know, it was a no brainer). I called AAA and had them tow my truck to my mechanic. After a couple hours of inspecting it they told me that the new tire was the wrong size and was causing all the problems. Once notified, America's Tire Co immediately replaced it with the correct size and got my truck back to me. My mechanic submitted a claim form to ATC corporate and was paid within a week. I then submitted a claim form to America's Tire for our rental vehicle for the three days we had to rent - and had a check in my hand within 5 days. The entire time, the staff and two managers we worked with were super courteous, apologetic and took care of things professionally. Every business will make mistakes sometimes - how they handle it is what counts. I highly recommend America's Tire Co. and am grateful for the way they handled this. read more

Great customer service !! Called them at 8am and was greeted by my first name. I had only been once at another store and they took my data, but liked the fact that they greet customers by their name, attention to detail! My 4 tires had to be replaced and I was scheduled for the other store. Niema added me to the queue over the phone and when I arrived they took my car in and replaced the rear tires. I observed a huge line forming by 9:15am, but every staff member that walked by them greeted the customer with a "good morning, thank you for your patience and we'll be right with you". I was in and out within 31 minutes. Every Staff member was very polite and explained to me the tire differences. They showed me three different models, and suggested my car and model would require the second option of Bridgestone as they were the newest in the Market, and had great reviews and were reliable. When I asked the sales associate the difference between the second option and the third, he thoroughly explained to me the difference. Their knowledge and advise made me feel safe while driving my car long distance and that they care. I received a $70 rebate, a discount and a really great deal on tires and superb customer service. Once upon a time, I loved this place. My husband and I commute 100 miles a day so we get tires for two vehicles once a year. I've been coming here for 10 years today was the worst experience ever! I waited 1 hour while they answered phones and helped other people that returned to pick up. I was quoted 1hr 40 mins for to change 1 tire that I special ordered but NEVER got a call regarding the arrival. They could not locate my records several times and when you mention all the issues to the sales person they don't acknowledge anything. I've now been a awaiting 3 hours and 35 mins for 1 tire change and its still not done! Bet they didn't reset the sensor again bc this happens all the time here. Good times! Researched the best price for a high milage tire, found it at American Tire. Loved the fact that the price quoted on the site, is the price you walk out paying if you don't add anything. I was out in less then an hour and since I made the appointment, they made sure I was handled first. My one complaint, My tire was promoted with a $80 Visa gift card and found out it was one type. I had an appointment today at 9:30, paid to have one tire replaced, and they gave me a 45 minutes to one hour time expectation. I sat there for over an hour and my car did not even move. Ultimately I had to get a refund and I will still be late to work. A complete waste of time. I have a Honda, so I went to Honda to get my tires checked cause I had one with low pressure.. They told me I had to leave my car for 4 or 5 hours just to check it and it would cost 19.95. Had an appointment this morning January 2, 2017 to install 4 tires that I reserved online at this facility. When I came in, I was told that the tires were not available. I didn't get the name of this nice gentleman who checked me in. He seems didn't care about his name being mentioned. He just focused to take care the customer who was me at that time. Without hesitation he casually said that I would be getting an upgraded tires since it wasn't a customer fault. The free upgraded tires almost twice the price I paid !!! I think he is the assistant manager of the store when I saw a business card on the counter (?) Anyway, he has made a disappointed customer to a super happy customer. I will bring in my 2 other vehicles to this store when I need tires and spread the word about this store to my friends and family. Give this guy a raise. He doesn't just sell tires, he is a great marketing person by action for the company !!! Because of him, the company earned my respect !!! Terrible customer service. The first thing they do is try to take you to your car and tell you that you need new tires. Sometimes they will tell you by law they cannot let you drive off because of safety concerns. I know, because I always buy from them but on this occasion I needed flat tire repair for thier tires. I came in early morning and was told it would be a two hour wait. I waited around but the one thing this customer service rep did was to return my keys. He had no intentions of repairing my vehicle during this two hour wait. I finally came in and was told it would be another two hours. The same guy said because I didnt check in it didnt count. If they cannot support the tires I purchased from them then why buy from them. Terrible service, I even asked for the manager and they keep telling me hes not in. The Manager is incredibly polite, thoughtful, and cares a lot about saving the customers time. I had emailed the company to ask about getting new tires and within two days he called me and told me the tires i had are discontinued, but he could order to bring in the identical tire but the new model. I tood him thats fantastic and he informed me to save time he already did it that he ordered all 4 for me. I love this place all the employees are kind and thoughtful and incredibly skilled and effeciant. Love coming in and getting my tires rotated and they even let me know how my tread is and give me the information I'd like to know. I came in today to buy only one new tire at America's Tire, because my tire makes too much vibration when I go on the freeway. The salesman came out and looked at the tire. He told me I don't need a new tire because this tire is still in pretty new condition, let him tried to fix it before I purchase a new one. Ends up I really don't need to buy a new tire. He fixed a nail and the tire is off balance. He didn't charge me a penny. What an honest business of an America's Tire Co. Is.
