Came here for a routine tire rotation and balance on Dec 28, 2018. Was served by Anthony S. The wait was a bit long initially as there were a 1 or 2 people ahead of me but had several phone customers calling in. I do wish they had more people in the front as this seems to be a bottleneck. As usual, the employees here are always super nice. We went out to my vehicle, Anthony took a quick look at my tires and pulled the mileage. There were about 8 people in front of me as I have overheard the customer in front of me. However, since I had an appointment, I was given priority and was assured that I will get out within 45mins. I went to get my tire rotation, they told me I wouldn't make it to my next rotation due to minimal tread. I bought tires that give me 55k miles and I've gone less then 30k. They told me I had balancing beads in my tire that they had to remove. They are the only ones that have touched my tires. They said they don't use balancing beads. Seems like they are getting shady. read more

Upset that no one was able to help, and now my liner for my wheel well has come off. Called and told Mike that I took my car in last week, said to come in and they will take a look at it no problems, went in and took the car with the new tires and the guy at the register continue to say that doesn't happen and couldn't find me in the computer system. Didn't know I need a receipt, looked up through phone numbers and name nothing. Don't waste your time here it's a simple fix and yet the guy at the register was acting like I was speaking German with all his stupid faces he was making when I was explaining the issue. read more

Been coming here every since I've moved to the Rancho area several years ago. For all my tire needs on all my cars I've been coming here and have been satisfied with their service. So I guess that's a 5 star review. Of note, not to get America's Tires confused with American Tire depot down the street, extremely confusing. For the lastest fix, I needed new tires on my Prius (work vehicle). They only had 2 choices, which, considering they are a tire store, I thought they would have more options. But they thoroughly explained the pros and cons of each one. And allowing me to chose which one was right for me. They even went above and beyond and got 2 more tires from a neighboring store so that I could get my tires changed that day. Which was sort of emergent because my tire was bubbling out, and driving about 200 miles a day on that car, and being my only day off before I worked another 5 days in a row would probably not have been smart. Giving them a call, you can approximate how busy they are. So when I went back to get my tires changed out, it surprisingly took only about 10 minutes, which I was extremely greatful for. True Story. I got a flat coming home one evening and called AAA the next morning to tow my car to another tire company on Foothill with a "similar" name. I was following in my wife's car as he turned into America's Tire. The tow driver was willing to take my car to the other company but he said he had heard nothing but good things about America's Tire. I decide to give them a shot. Well, 2 hours later I was GLAD I made that decision. Everyone...and I mean everyone....was friendly and very helpful. Shout out to Francisco!! A young man who helped me choose my new set of tires. What a great attitude. I personally do not go looking for exceptional service, I just want the job done....but when exceptional service presents itself and with a smile, well I gotta Yelp it! I'm sorry, but America's Tire has lost my business. For many years I've talked up their service but tonight I was failed by rude employees. I had an appointment yesterday during which I ordered 4 tires for my Tesla S - this was going to be a $1200 tire deal. I was told then that the tires would be delivered today sometime between 10:30 and 4:30 and they would call to make an appointment for installation. Having not heard from them by 4:45 I tried calling four separate times, each time being on hold for 7+ minutes listening to their inane advertising with each call terminated by their system. Nobody answered the phone!!! So I decided to drive to the location. The rude employee, when accosted by lack of phone answering, said that everyone answers the phone but we have a 3 hour wait and what about it. When he finally started to check on the tire order (remember it was to be delivered that day) he said that there was no order in the system. There was no attempt to figure out who had taken the order the previous day or any attempt to figure out what happened. He just stared at me with an expression of what are you going to do about it! Fine I said, "I'll get the tires elsewhere". Tonight I called Les Schwab dealer in the area and put together a better deal for the same tires. At Les Schwab you can get free rotations, tire pressure checks, and tire warranty without paying extra (not so at America's Tire). Goodbye America's Tire. It's too bad because you'll miss out on the new tires on my RV in a month and all my future tire purchases. I'm done with you. read more

I'm done with this location of America's Tire. I have had good luck there with buying tires and service over the last 8 years, but things have really gone downhill in the last year. I bought 4 tires there recently only to discover that 2 of the wheel studs had been cross threaded when the tires were installed when my mechanic checked my brakes. It cost me to replace the studs. In January I went there to have a slow leak repaired. Turns out the leak couldn't be repaired and I had to buy a new tire. No problem until I found out that once again the wheel stud had been cross threaded on one wheel. They paid for a repair at a brake shop ,but it took a few hours out of my day. It's obvious that their employees need better training or better supervision. I'll be going elsewhere for my tires. read more

I was literally pulling out of the garage for work and my tire bell and light went off. No star review actually. ..was towed there to make a log story short...instead of the montclair store ( much better)..had to buy a wheel no steel in Stock so I have a odd one , will buy the others at the montclair store next month..applied for credit card online and was approved. ..and rudely told me I couldn't use it unless over 200 dollars. ...waited 20 min longer then was told... He noticed I needed wiper blades and set me up to get them. I explained how I'm disabled and had an accident with my good leg and I asked someone could come to the car even though they were so busy. This place lied to me about the condition of my tire so they can push me away for the day due to how busy they were. My tire was chipped to the metal and I was told "it's fine. A tire change is not necessary." Luckily, I knew better and went to get a second opinion. Dishonest, careless, and dangerous assessment. I started gardening this evening and at 4pm looked at my truck tire realizing it was lower than usual. Got up closer to it and sure enough there was a nail in the tire. Looked up American Tire and drove straight there since they closed at 5pm. They wouldn't be open on Sunday. Eric helped me as soon as I walked in the door. He let me know it would be fixed and ready within 30-45 minutes. He was right and it didn't cost me anything. Love this kind of customer service. I tipped him $20 and was on my way. What an amazing crew! I always buy my tires from them. Last night, I went in to get new tires for my Tundra that I just purchased (used) and it had spiked lug nuts. Turns out you need about a 4 or 5 inch deep socket to remove them. Rather than turn me away since the I didn't have the special socket to remove them, Justin and his crew figured out how to take them off! It took cutting off some of the spikes but it was well worth it! I was very impressed by their "can-do" attitude. Americas tire already had a customer for life... but their actions yesterday further supports my loyalty to them. Side note: I worked for them (different store that's now been demolished) about 20 years ago and that's when I learned about their culture. Absolutely excellent customer service and unbeatable prices. After I left that job I admit that I looked around when shopping for tires but I always considered price checking with Americas tire. I can honestly say that nobody has ever beat their prices. Even when I still double check (I always get 3 quotes for big purchases) they just can't be beat. Add that to their excellent customer service and they're unstoppable. Further, the fact that they promote their managers from within speaks volumes about them and their company culture. I have been going to America's Tire for over 10 years and have yet to receive anything but stellar service and knowledgeable staff. I have purchased all of my tires as well as warranties on the tires here and no matter what has happened, they have always cheerfully taken care of whatever I have needed. This past week I had my tires replaced and after 24 hours my tire light indicating that my pressure was low came on. Thought it was just a temperature change but after a week was still one so I went back. They told me it that the pressure gage in my tire had gone bad and they could repair it for about $65. Ok, that is fair and had them work on it. Yes, they fixed it and pretty quickly as there were many other customers there as well. The technician then decided that since this probably happened when they were replacing my tires, that it was their fault and there would be no charge. WOW! Could not believe it. Well, the light came back on again two days later and I went back and asked them about it. In looking more closely at the lack of pressure, the determined that there was a nick in the tire valve that me have been a defect in the tire. They replaced my whole tire in 15 minutes and AGAIN at no charge. They were very nice and apologetic about the whole thing. Yes, it took some time, but yes the resolved it and at no charge! The staff is always polite, helpful and professional and always know what the best tire for your car is based on the type of driving and your budget. Several months ago I came in to get a new tire and my spare removed. I left the damaged rim at work and was told to bring back the damaged rim and they would take the TPMS sensor out and put it in the new rim. Well life got in the way and I finally made it in to "pay" for this service to be done cause it's ridiculous that I waited so long. That's when I came across Marquis. I told him I understood if I had to pay and he explained that it was all a part of the previous service that was paid for. I asked if he was sure and he asked how many miles were on the car, let's rotate them too!!!!!! There are at least 2 America's tires that are closer to my house and probably 3-4 tire shops of other franchises but this is where I will return, not even sure how I ended up at this location in the first place. Imagine my complete panic when I head to my car to enjoy my lunch (thinking my tire simply needed more air) and arriving to a completely flat tire. That's how my afternoon went. I was very panicked because I typically finish work much later after this location closes, I tried my best to get there as early as possible but ended up getting there around 15 minutes before closing. I felt awful about it, but I was met by the most friendly and understand staff. My hole was repaired, the spare was put back in its place, and I was able to drive home with the problem solved. I always go to America's Tire because they dont charge for a flat and repair it if possible. They are honest and good quality people. If you need a tire repaired, visiting them is a must! read more

This is the best America's Tire to go to in the area. Special thanks to Kyle who went above and beyond to provide stellar service and who made sure that my safety was top concern. He also went out of his way to ensure my car got lifted with a jack, per my request. Outstanding service, Kyle. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and making time to ensure that my wheel setup is safe. Overall, the staff is very friendly, and patient with all of the questions that the multiple customers had. Despite the amount of customers, the store handled things extremely efficiently. This is a large store with lots of bays, and it's appreciated how all of the staff are very responsive and kind. Every phone call was answered, which was very impressive seeing as how they had back to back calls from customers with many questions. The team overall has their system together, and the family style atmosphere is a great plus. What Brough Me Here: Usually I go to the Montclair location, which has always been great as well, but I went to another location (Fontana) to install aftermarket lug nuts on my OEM wheels. I am aware that different size/shape lug nuts are not compatible with stock wheels, so I had asked the staff at Fontana if the aftermarket lug nuts that I purchased are compatible -- turns out, they are NOT. I asked the staff, who asked another and another, overall totaling 4 workers who asked each other if the lug nuts are compatible. All of them were unsure, but ultimately agreed they "should" fit. They (Fontana store) threw the aftermarket lug nuts on my car, but I felt a gnawing discomfort that led me to call this store (which was on my way home from work). Luckily I spoke with Kyle, here at Upland, who encouraged me to come by just to check even though I voiced concern that I wouldn't be able to make it in until 20 minutes close of business. It ended up being a good thing that I came in, because the lug nuts were not compatible! They could have fallen off while driving which is extremely unsafe and could have been life threatening. This place is awesome! Staff is super friendly. The work ethic here is awesome. Their goal is to get you in and out as fast as possible. You see technician jump in to help if anyone is idling. Facility is super clean and organized, and equipment is very up to par. Another nice feature of Americas Tire's (AT) network is their online customer review database. When it comes to selecting tires I am all about customer reviews (experiences), and what convinced me to pick a tire from AT, over Costco, is the review. The cost is also lower and large selection. Sure they don't use nitrogen for air (like Costco) but just come back and have it checked everyone you do oil change on your car. I definitely come back here again to get my tires. read more
