Which one is the best for our truck for we tow a traveling trailer when we go on vacations. I expressed that $$ money was not that important the safety of our family was more important to us. He choose the middle price. So I told him thank you and will see you at one today. Upon getting there I read his name on his red shirt, I was in line waiting for him for by then there was a few people getting quotes. I seen the way he handle a man, he was working with. I was impressed with his helping and showing all tires and expressing this mans concerns. When it was my turn I said Hi Micheal I'm Kym L. and he helped me with a smile. I just love his way of being. Our tesla tire had a minor tear driving from Las Vegas to LA. We didn't know where to go so we stopped by the Tesla dealership in Upland. They told us immediately they couldn't fix it and that we would need to have our tire replaced so it would cost us $500. Went to pep boys, they said it was too much of a hassle for a repair and midas couldn't do it. America's tire was our last resort, and lo and behold they said they could do the repair. 30 minutes later, they patched it up and it was good to go. And they even did it for free. Long story but i'll keep it short.... Came here a few months ago and they removed a large nail from my tire & patched it up for free in a short amount of time. A few months later I began having trouble with the same tire. After getting nowhere w/ my dealership...these guys replaced my tire w/ the tire I wanted & answered all my questions, all for almost $100 less than what my dealership was going to charge me. Myself and four of my adult kids use this same America's Tire for over two decades. Today was the worst customer service, I have ever had here. I understand busy but when a customer has been sitting in your lobby for almost three hours, it doesn't take a retail genius to check on him and his vehicle's status. DO NOT COME HERE. I had came here with my Mustang to get the full AC replaced and also had to replace a CO2 sensor and a new battery. I trusted them at the beginning cause they had good reviews but at the end the guy wanted to charge me more to replace the whole AC system when that was already the plan and he didn't even attempt to flush the system. Plus one of my battery cables keeps on coming loose so I took it to this other local shop because of that problem and the car was making a clunk noise and he told me it the battery cable was broken and he showed me that my sway bar links were loosened all the way. I usually go to Tucker Tire in Covina for my alignment and tire needs but decided to give a local shop a try based on the reviews I found on yelp. Please note I did not have an appointment, however, I did show up at the opening time and it seemed pretty empty. I had a puncture to the side wall of my tire so I had to get it replaced. My car happens to be an all-wheel drive vehicle, so they recommended replacing all four. Went with the same tire brand and the total ended up being 250 dollars more than what Tucker Tire quoted me. Given the location of this shop and the emergency, I went ahead and bought a set of 4. Then I was told they didn't have them in stock but their distribution warehouse was nearby and they would probably be in by 12:30 in the afternoon. They told me they'd give me a call when they arrived. Fast forward to 2 o'clock, I call them to find out if there was any update on the delivery since the warehouse was local, but no luck. Finally 3:15 I get a call back saying they have them and to come on by. Little did they know I had been waiting around the corner all day. I get there they tell me they already have me checked in and my vehicle should be coming up.....however I'd say about 7 other vehicles were serviced before mine, so I'd stress to make an appointment. I did not leave the shop until near closing (5:40pm) and while leaving I thankfully pulled over to check if everything was in place including the spare tire; I noticed some of my lugnut caps were missing. Also, while being there all day I observed many customers stating that their tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) was still on even after being serviced; mine was also still on *so please note that they probably will not reset that for you.* They ended up charging 47.50 per tire for " certificates for refund or replacement" (190 total). In the end, I tried out a local shop to save time and money and honestly regret coming here. I rather make the Trek to Covina for better service. read more

Turns out, because I didn't rotate my tires, both of my front tires needed to be replaced. Heard good things about this place so I went to fix my flat tire. One of the tires had a nail stuck inside and needed fixing. The man in the front inspected the tire and said that I need new tires. I understand that their job is to sell so that they make money, but I repeated myself multiple times that I ONLY wanted to fix the tire. However the man REFUSED, and told me that he won't fix it unless I just get new tires. The tires weren't even that bad, and were fine. I replaced two tires that were near the end of their life. I used the web site to find makes of tires available and there were several. I then researched the different brands and chose one (General tire) because it was highly rated and the least expensive. I ordered the tires (from their warehouse) and scheduled an appointment. The tires were there in 2 days. When I went in for my appointment at 8:30am on a Monday morning, the parking lot was full and the waiting room was full. But because I had an appointment my truck was pulled in to the first available spot and work was started immediately. I was out of there in 35 minutes! They actually honor the appointment time, even when busy. Wow! The technician even gave me an update part way through the process. read more

This guy has no clue of what good customer experience is and is only concerned about how he is perceived or of what he articulates and his condescending demeanor to customers. So, my sister and I have been going here forever with each of our vehicles for new tires, air, etc and for the most part have been pleased with the service. TODAY however was a whole other issue. I went in to get my tire checked as it registered extremely low and looking at it you could also tell it wasn't right. I drove over to get it looked at and upon entering the lot I was behind a challenger who was driving forward and then decided to reverse. Before I could even react he smashed into the front of my car. I got out of the car and yelled "WTF?!" he gets out and the first thing he says is "There's no damage." So, does that make it ok. Then you should have SEEN me BEHIND you! His UNHELPFUL manager RICHARD comes over, not knowing what is going on and immediately to HIM and NOT me the customer says, "Are you ok? Are you hurt?" And I said to him, "HE HIT ME!!! HE BACKED INTO ME!!" Then he proceeds to tell him to take off his work shirt. YES I heard you, you tool! But I took a picture of him as soon as he stepped out of the car, WITH his shirt on." Then he proceeded to tell him to go park his car. No, he stays here until I get photos and all of his info... TF! He drove over and I followed him and got his information. Then as he was freaking out, he proceeds to tell me that he had just gotten his car BACK from another accident. I asked if he caused that one too and he said "No, the lady ran the light." Afterwards, I STILL needed my tire checked and the guy that checks the tires tells me "Oh your tire won't take any air, but if you go to the gas station and put some air in it, I can top it off for you. WTF, are we talking about mimosas or tires? Then I asked him to check to see if anything is in the tire... He told me NO. SO, I came home and called AAA and they came out and put air JUST FINE in my tire that supposedly wouldn't take any air and LOW AND BEHOLD there was an F'N nail in my tire! The same tire the guy said there was nothing in! I felt let down, lied to and bullied as a woman on her own with all of these men protecting one another and no longer looking out for, me, the client. My daughter's Jeep Liberty needed new tires, so I made an appointment on line for this morning. It was really easy to make the appointment and quite a few slots were open, even though I waited until the afternoon before to make it. She got there first and was talking with Joe when I arrived. Joe (Joseph J. Loya Jr.) showed us the available tires for her model, and we discussed the pro's and con's of each. I did not feel at all like he was trying to "up sell" us. After deciding on Michelin Defenders for her car, I asked him to look at the tires on my Honda Accord, as I had been told my two front tires needed replacing. I had not originally intended to buy myself tires, due to not wanting to wait all day. Joe confirmed that my front tires were REALLY bad, and recommended that I replace the back two as well, to get even wear. He said he could "buy back" my least-worn tire. We repeated the process of looking at various quality tires and again discussed pro's and con's. I really liked his friendly and matter-of-fact style. I chose Michelin Premier tires for my car. My daughter's wait time with her appointment was quoted at 30-40 minutes, while mine was at an hour and a half. I fully expected to have to leave and come back, but within 10 minutes of her car being done, I got the text that mine was done as well! They are REALLY quick and efficient at this shop. The young man working on our cars was very nice. Our total wait time from entering to leaving was only a little more than an hour. Are other places possibly cheaper? Possibly (e.g. warehouse membership stores), but you can't beat the customer service here. I fully intend to take advantage of their patch repair, rotation and tire inflation services! read more

I got the dreaded alert this afternoon that one of my tire's pressure was significantly lower than the others and I knew exactly what to do: Visit the nearest America's Tire for a free air check and inflation! I was excited to learn there is a location conveniently located to my home. I rolled up into the parking lot, drove into the complimentary "air check" line, and without having to get out of my car, an employee (Chris) graciously assisted me by checking my tires' pressures and making the necessary adjustments. He also checked the treading and provided me a written report. The visit took no more than 5 minutes and it was complimentary. I highly recommend America's Tire for all tire service. My "tire rotation" and "air pressure" lights came on so I made an appointment for the following day. Making a reservation isn't required as they accept walk-ins, but it saved me an hour of wait time. The balance and rotation would have been a free service, but a nail in the side wall of my rear tire was the cause of the pressure light, and was not fixable. They not only did their system have the information on the age and model of my other tires, but they had the replacement tire in stock. Update: I have one of the new tires that is badly out of balance. I stopped by the Fontana location today to have them check and rebalance the tire. This is now my 3rd visit since I bought a new set of tires 2 weeks ago. The tech told me it would be over a 2 hour wait. I waited a couple of hours for the original installation, but they informed me after they were finished that they only had 3 tires. So I had to come back days later for the last tire. They blew that appt and I had to wait over 2 hours for them to fix their own mistake. Now again, they want me to wait another 2 hours to fix their balancing mistake. They simply do not have the ability to quickly fix their own mistakes. The people who have good experiences here are the ones who are fortunate to have a mistake-free experience. However, things turn really bad when something goes wrong. A company's true test of good service is how they take care of problems. This is where America's Tire fails. They are not equipped to handle problems efficiently. They just put you at the end of the line and let you wait..... again. Today I couldn't wait, so I had to leave. My tire is still not fixed and I am driving to Arizona on Sunday. I will try my luck getting it fixed in Arizona. Sadly, this will be my last tire purchase at America's Tire. The wait was a bit long initially as there were a 1 or 2 people ahead of me but had several phone customers calling in. I do wish they had more people in the front as this seems to be a bottleneck. As usual, the employees here are always super nice. We went out to my vehicle, Anthony took a quick look at my tires and pulled the mileage. There were about 8 people in front of me as I have overheard the customer in front of me. However, since I had an appointment, I was given priority and was assured that I will get out within 45mins. I went to get my tire rotation, they told me I wouldn't make it to my next rotation due to minimal tread. I bought tires that give me 55k miles and I've gone less then 30k. They told me I had balancing beads in my tire that they had to remove. They are the only ones that have touched my tires. They said they don't use balancing beads.
