This place is awesome! Staff is super friendly. The work ethic here is awesome. Their goal is to get you in and out as fast as possible. You see technician jump in to help if anyone is idling. Facility is super clean and organized, and equipment is very up to par. Another nice feature of Americas Tire's (AT) network is their online customer review database. When it comes to selecting tires I am all about customer reviews (experiences), and what convinced me to pick a tire from AT, over Costco, is the review. The cost is also lower and large selection. Sure they don't use nitrogen for air (like Costco) but just come back and have it checked everyone you do oil change on your car. I definitely come back here again to get my tires. read more

I don't rate 5 stars unless my experience somewhere was life changing. With that being said, 4 stars from me is pretty darn good. I called this place on Thursday to get my cubicle tire/rotation history since my dad has been taking our cars to this location. The gentleman who answered the phone was so helpful and patient with me. I told him I hit a curb pretty bad and lost a weight on my front wheel. He set me up with a 9:15am appointment on Saturday. I arrived here today promptly at 9:15. Chris greeted me with a smile and shook my hand. I told him I had an appointment and he came out to inspect my tires. To my surprise (not really) -- my front tires were bald. This could be the reason that my car was shaking when I brake. eek. I asked him how long it would take to replace the tires since I'm pressed at the moment. He said it wouldn't take long because I had an appointment. I agreed to replace the front two today and the next two next paycheck (baller on a budget). Each tire was $97 . With replacement fee, valves, rotation, lifetime balancing and taxes, my total was $276.34. I drive a 2006 Ford 500. I hope this is a good deal. Upland location- kinda slow. I just needed air for my tires and everyone was ignoring me so I called inside and asked how long was the wait for the air pressure and how I've been waiting outside then that's when someone showed up. Staff was still somewhat friendly just not as efficient as the Ontario location. read more

This is the best America's Tire to go to in the area. Special thanks to Kyle who went above and beyond to provide stellar service and who made sure that my safety was top concern. He also went out of his way to ensure my car got lifted with a jack, per my request. Outstanding service, Kyle. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and making time to ensure that my wheel setup is safe. Overall, the staff is very friendly, and patient with all of the questions that the multiple customers had. Despite the amount of customers, the store handled things extremely efficiently. This is a large store with lots of bays, and it's appreciated how all of the staff are very responsive and kind. Every phone call was answered, which was very impressive seeing as how they had back to back calls from customers with many questions. The team overall has their system together, and the family style atmosphere is a great plus. What Brough Me Here: Usually I go to the Montclair location, which has always been great as well, but I went to another location (Fontana) to install aftermarket lug nuts on my OEM wheels. I am aware that different size/shape lug nuts are not compatible with stock wheels, so I had asked the staff at Fontana if the aftermarket lug nuts that I purchased are compatible -- turns out, they are NOT. I asked the staff, who asked another and another, overall totaling 4 workers who asked each other if the lug nuts are compatible. All of them were unsure, but ultimately agreed they "should" fit. They (Fontana store) threw the aftermarket lug nuts on my car, but I felt a gnawing discomfort that led me to call this store (which was on my way home from work). Luckily I spoke with Kyle, here at Upland, who encouraged me to come by just to check even though I voiced concern that I wouldn't be able to make it in until 20 minutes close of business. It ended up being a good thing that I came in, because the lug nuts were not compatible! They could have fallen off while driving which is extremely unsafe and could have been life threatening. I recently had my car's brakes serviced at the dealership; where I was told one of my tires needed to be replaced ASAP. They gave me a quote for tire replacement service and I decided to see if I could get a better price. Because we all know dealerships are usually higher. So I went to the Upland store and the Rep quotes me approximately $70 higher than the dealership, for the exact same service, new tire and balancing. HUH!!! So I informed them that I had a written quote from a dealership (which I had in my car) that was approximately $70 cheaper. Without pause he immediately dropped the price to match the dealership's. C'mon man, he knew he could've given me that price up front. He was going to rip me off. BEWARE!! Oh, the actual tire service was ok. read more

The manager was nice but I was there at least three times to get some tires that where supposed to be there. First the wrong tires where ordered then the tires were there but not checked in so was told they were not there then left then told they were. All this on my birthday weekend. They could have at least offered $10 off for the gas i spent going back and forth. read more

Upper management needs to clean house.... I am a long time customer and it seems over the last year or so Management at the Store-Level has really gone downhill in my Area(Upland/Montclair). I recently Paid to get new tires mounted and balanced. A week later noticed a defect in one of my tires. I contacted the manufacturer and they instructed me to take them back to America's tire to be inspected and they would replace them under warranty. I show up to the Upland location for inspection and was helped by Joe. I Gave him my warranty claim number and he said they would have to order the tire and it would be in the following day. I expressed that I did not want to have one tire that was a different model from the rest so he directed me to contact the manufacturer and see if they can remedy that. I then contacted the manufacturer as instructed and they kindly offered to sound match all 4 tires but notified me that no inspection has been reported...this is pretty upsetting at this point, but no biggie I knew I would be returning the following day to report what the manufacturer had agreed to and all should be cleared up. I show up Friday for my appointment and was helped by another associate. I give him all my info again and he orders the 4 tires for SoundMatch and says they will be in Saturday afternoon. We make an appointment for Monday to have them installed. I show up Monday for my appointment (after taking time off work) and am notified that they only have 3 of the 4 tires, at this point any customer would be highly annoyed and/or frustrated.... The America's Tire that I know would have called me prior to me showing up for my appointment to notify me that my tire had not arrived and that they would need to reschedule me for a later date. Unfortunately not the case. I was then told they did not have any shipping update or info on the missing tire and would have to order me the additional tire,very perplexed and frustrated at this point after he confirmed 4 tires were ordered. During all this I Come to find out the gentleman assisting me the whole time was the Assistant Manager. This is really where the Customer Service/Professionalism and lack there of completely went out the door....I was Smirkingly told by said person "you know you are kind of taking advantage of the manufacturer"...Wow Really?Appalling and Condescending to say the least. I guess he thought it was estranged for a company to stand behind their products and go the extra yard to take care of their customers. Truly Unprofessional and should have been kept to himself.He proceeded by saying I would need to pay Labor for the Warranty Service... At this point I feel he was just trying to take advantage of my situation. Not once was that mentioned with the manufacturer or the previous employees that had helped me up to this point.. I will update this review Pending the way A.T. proceed from here. I'm completely unsatisfied and offended but want to give him and the Upland location a chance to correct and rectify this. I have 5 Vehicles in my fleet that AT Solely services and this is the first time and only time I have been deeply unsatisfied with America's Tire. I have never once been charged labor for tire warranties and don't believe this is their policy,if there has been a policy change and I'm uninformed... the very least he could have done is waive/comp me the services, which is well within his limitations UPDATE: Store Manager Richard personally called me and apologized and took care of the issues for me. The associate whom I had worked with previously should have personally apologized as well but instead he put his tail between his legs and avoided me while I was in store. I originally came here from referrals from family and friends. The warranty I got for my tires is great, it covers 65,000 miles and they'll even notify you for tire rotations (which is suppose to be every 5,000 miles.... oops!). I'm actually here right now just for tire rotation (free of charge). No appointment necessary and since there is hardly anyone here the expected wait time is only 30 min! I love that they take care of me every time I am here and give me peace of mind! read more

Made an appointment to have a set of 4 new tires installed. Upon arrival, I found a placard welcoming me by name and guiding me to the spot reserved for my car. Within seconds, an employee approached me and had me pull into the garage to get started on my tire installation. They quoted me 30-45 minutes and were right on the money - finished in 45 minutes. Friendly employee even apologized for "keeping you waiting so long." It wasn't a long wait. When I asked them to place one of my old tires in my trunk, they even bagged it first to prevent soiling my trunk. Professional, courteous and dependable. I called this location after getting the run around from a competing store, with whom I was initially trying to get tires from. The big-box company I was using kept telling me that my tires would be in "soon" and to just come on down and wait I called and spoke with Steve, who was able to find me comparable tires. He went above and beyond to do some leg work and call a different location to see if he could find my more difficult to find tire size in stock. Not only did he find it, he offered to drive over and pick them up himself and have them at his location quickly. Steve was extremely courteous, very helpful, and incredibly customer service oriented. While I still went with the company I was already working with, I very much appreciate all of Steve's effort. In the future, I will use this location & not the place I'm currently at, which has horrific customer service. read more

In the past I had great experiences with America's Tire. The folks at the Upland location have always been friendly, polite, and honest. However, my last two experiences haven't been great. Last year I stopped by to get my tires rotated and purchased a new spare tire. I waited about an hour in the lobby. It was a pretty busy morning, but this location always seems to be bustling. They called me and announced my car was ready. When I walked out I saw that the cover on my spare tire looked untouched. I drive a CRV and the spare tire is on the back of the car. I thought to myself "well they had to have changed it" and drove off. I was met with hesitation and pulled into the AAA parking lot and unzipped my tire cover. To my surprise my old tire was still on there. They didn't give me the tire I purchased. They didn't give me anything at all. I drove back and spoke to one of the employees and notified him. He was apologetic and replaced my tire. I understand things happen, but to completely forget to provide your customer with a good they purchased is a bit much. This second and last time I can here was in November. I came in to get my tires rotated. In 2017, I purchased Michelin Defenders 90,000 mile tires. I had since put 51,000 miles on them. The employee who helped me measured the tread and then said he couldn't rotate them and that I needed new tires. I was in shock. I spent over $600 on these tires and should have 39,000 miles left. He said the tread were at 2's and 3's. He didn't rotate them, but tried to sell me new tires. He said these tires weren't suited for the type of driving I did, when two years before his colleague recommends them based on my type of driving. I told him I couldn't afford a new set. Shortly after I went to the Montclair location. The employee there measured my tires and 4's and 3's. He said they were wearing out, but he could rotate them. He didn't try to sell me new tires, but suggested I start looking and keep an eye out on my driving. I contacted customer service about both of my experiences at the Upland store when the incidents happened, but never heard back. I really liked the Upland location and have used them for years. But after the last couple of experiences I think I'll spend my money at a different location. read more

I really appreciate the service I received here. I had an unrepairable flat tire. I called to confirm this location had the necessary equipment to work on Tesla's. I spoke with Marquis. He went above and beyond for me trying to locate my specific tire. I rely on my vehicle to get me to work, so being without my car is not an option. While he had to special order the tire, he was able to give me a loaner tire until my tire came in from an outside warehouse. Overall, Marquis and this shop turned a stressful situation into a pleasant one. I appreciate the professionalism and sense of urgency I received in getting me back on the road. I went in to fix my gashed tire that was destroyed on Benson St. First of all the streets around there destroy your tires the city needs to do something about that!! Mofos!! Ok, so the sales rep at American Tire is a phony I do not trust American Tire now. He of course.. I knew he was trying to get more money out of me.. suggested I get another tire I called my dad my dad had said hey if it is going to keep you safe yes get it your front tires are important... so what did they do? Replace both of my back tires! Mf darn sales rep!! If you wanna be a good sales rep you don't f'in cheat people!! Because you'll loose people instead of gaining people!! Ugh man I was so so angry!! Went to a different tire shop before heading to this one (which was a waste of time) to initially buy one tire because my current one was deflating constantly..they told me they needed to replace all four tires because they were bad cheapest set starting at $1k... I decided to head over to America's Tire for a second opinion and thank god for sales rep Joseph.. went in there and he gave me 5 options.. cheapest to expensive and also said he would check my tires to see which ones needed replacing.. he went out there and checked, told me all my tires were good but one had a nail in it and he would fix it for free... sure enough he did.. that dude is solid! Buying tires can mean spending way too much time calling around to get the best prices. ATS Upland saved me hours of my precious time buy offering to beat any better price I found online or at a brick and mortar shop. Steve went above and beyond. He ordered me the tires I wanted (they came in fast!), at the price I wanted, and even threw in matching lug nuts at no extra cost due to a slight hiccup. The kids in the bays seem to be well trained and supervised. Although I had an appointment I did have to wait 1.45 hrs for my tires to be installed & for the sensors in my truck to be reset. Other folks without appointments seemed to be in and out in 30 min. In the end I'm willing to wait if it means I get the best price and service. read more

Came into America's Tire Store for a small leak in my right front tire. I bought my tires new exactly a year ago from this place. Soon as I walked in I was immediately greeted by Shawn and was told that they'll be with me an a minute. I like places like this that acknowledge you and not ignore you until it's your turn. Shawn came outside and looked at all of my tires for tire depth and safety. Also he insisted on rotating my tires free of charge since I have never had them rotated. You get free rotations here as long as you buy the tires from here. Also you get free flat repair as long as your tires are patchable. Aka no side wall cuts or punctures. Every time I come here these guys are awesomely friendly. While you wait can have a cup of complementary coffee, tea or a bottle of water. I will always get my tires from this place. They're nice, affordable, and the head manager Tom is 100 percent a people person and treats his employees and customers well. read more

Dropped my truck off at 830 am, discussed that tires would be in by early afternoon, and was told from their app that the time they would be done would be 3pm. 3pm passes and no phone call or update, sat on phone listening to it ring for 18mins. Finally someone answer, ask for an update then told by 5pm. Come at 5pm my truck was not even on the lift. Informed the clerk and all he could say was they were getting cars in every 30mins, that they were very busy. But looking at the schedule they put cars ahead of mines who technically checked in after me. Finally see the manager take my truck and get it moving. My biggest issue is if your going to tell someone a time stick to that time or come up with a better excuse. Stick to your word. Your word is everything. But biggest thank you to the manager or who ever he is, believe name is Marquis.. He busted his behind and was on-top of everyone getting them to move and get customers on their way and not sit there. read more

Love this place. I was referred here some years back to buy tires. I've been a Customer ever since. They also have FREE Tire Air Service. You just pull up to their clearly marked lane and they will fill up your tires. Get this ..... you don't have to be a Customer for this Free Service. How AWESOME is that. I like that this America's Tire Store is super close to a car wash, highly convenient. As with all ATS locations, this one also offers free tire check. They checked mine as the TPMS in my car alarmed me indicating low pressure in the tires, and the service team was quick to make things right again in my Versa. There is plenty of parking here at this ATS location, and the waiting room is decently sized. Given how expensive land can be in California, this is an added plus. I don't know if there is WiFi here, as my stay there was really short, but the next time I need a tire rotation (which they do for free here if you got your tires at an ATS or a Discount Tire) I will most certainly test for WiFi if present. read more
