AMAZING JOB! We had our back patio, front courtyard, 3-car driveway and sidewalk completely redone. We previously had color-stamped concrete, and it was failing miserably. After 3 estimates from other companies, we felt Pat was the one. He worked with us choosing color combinations that were acceptable to our HOA. When the work began, Pat and his team showed up every morning - for 12 Days - and began work at 7:00 AM sharp. They did exceptional work in spite of the blistering temperatures (108+ for 10 days)! They masked off and wrapped everything to cut down on the dust and any overspray, even helping us to move a couple of heavier patio items into the yard. The wait was worth it!!!! We just moved into a 16 year old home with a pool decking that was flaking off at the edges like a hard boiled egg shell.... but Americote came in after a 2 month wait and 6 estimates later!!!! And what a great job!!! They worked well together and had the cleanest & Organized work site!!! Came in early every morning And worked efficiently to get to their next job of the day!!! John (Owner) gave us a quote for both a total resurfacing and repair and paint, He suggested the lower priced option of repair & repaint (Gotta Luv an honest business man) which we did and it looks amazing! His son Pat was on time every day, with his crew and they did a great job masking everything off so the house, trees, planters & cooking island didn't get any overspray. Had no clue who to talk with on re-coating my 27 year old pool deck. Looked up many companies online and these guys stood out. A family run business that does a great job. John, the owner, came out and bid out the work - on Saturday morning no less!. Straight forward on what needed to be done and gave me a great price! Took them 3 weeks to get out to my house (they are busy) and they completed the job in 3 days. My pool deck was a mess with a ton of chipping and hollow spots. I was really impressed by their work. Showed up on time every day and even the owner was there with the other guys the whole time. They spent 3 days re-doing our pool deck that the previous company almost destroyed. It was messy as it always is and the pool was a mess for days however I got it cleaned up not long after. The only thing I would recommend to them is to cover the whole pool. That would really help in the cleanup process. Overall I am still really happy with how it all came out. What can we say. We previously used an unlicensed contractor who came highly recommended by a lot of our friends with Metro and Fire. Our project was extensive and unique. As it would be and as many have experienced, unlicensed contractors are not bound by a code of ethics and will smile to your face while they pick your pocket. So goes our story. Long story short, we have sworn off anyone without credentials. Before talking with John from Americote and explaining our situation, John showed us his contractors license and his contract agreement. John is very personable and knows his stuff. We chose to hire Americote to repair the substandard finishes we were left with and we are very glad we did. Patrick and his crew showed up right on time and explained to us thoroughly how the project would progress. They were very professional and took extreme care to not disturb or destroy our mature plants (We actually planned for plant damage). We could not have asked for a better, less intrusive experience. Would we recommend and/or use Americote in the future? Absolutely 100%. I hired Americote to coat my back deck, which was about 10 years old. I had some hairline cracking throughout that I wanted to fix. John had a great idea to do a type of grinding design to make it look a bit like stone detail to hide the cracks. That part of the job came out great. I am disappointed in two things: First, the unevenness of the applied coating. They spray applied the finish, and as a contractor myself, I know that the person running the gun can make a huge difference. The coating is splotchy and uneven. Not atrocious, but even my wife sees it and is disappointed. Second, John's poor attitude when I asked to come to the house and follow up with him on the status of the deck. He came in the backyard, walked to the center of the deck area, which is sizeable, and said, "This looks great." He didn't inspect the job first to see if it was up to their company standards, and immediately began to roll his eyes at my concerns. I have NEVER posted to Yelp, and I am sorry that the poor customer service I experienced this morning brought me to this. I cannot recommend Americote of Las Vegas. read more

These guys did a lousy job of coating my 5 year old patio. First of all, they did not mask the house, as per contract, and splashed stain and sealer on my house, window frame, and solar screen.. They did not apply the sealer close to the house, so there is a gap, which looks ugly. Also, some spots of the patio appear to be thinly coated, or not coated at all. Overall poor workmanship. I called them twice, and they did not have the courtesy to return my calls. I would definitely NOT recommend Americote of Las Vegas! read more
