I had my house re-piped about 6 months ago. Be aware that they did not include valves when they re-pipe the showers so that was an extra charge. Seems like the workers are contracted and charge a price and pay them directly for that. They did not do a great job patching and missed a few areas and have never come back to fix it after no less than 10 calls. The workers were pretty sloppy and left the garage in a big mess. Avoid this company at all cost. The owner(Bob) will come out to your house and do a great sell pitch. He talks about how his employees have been with the company for a long time, how they have a checklist of things they do (NOT!), how clean and experienced they are blah blah blah. Basically everything you want to hear to make you go with his company. He even price match some of the competitors. Unfortunately, I was extremely disgusted with their work. He sends out this crew....so he's not the one in charge of the work. At first I was under impression from our conversation that he was going to send out a crew of 4 people to get the repiping job done fast since we needed water. Only two guys worked on my house. From checking the job, I found out they didn't replace the two hose bibs and water pressure like Bob had promised. I asked them why and they gave me some bs reasons. Basically they didn't want to do it. I got mad so I called Bob. Luckily, it was written in the contract so I was able to get those things replaced. They replaced all my hot and cold water pipes. Honestly, I don't know much about these things and plus they are not visible, so I can't comment how well they did the job. So far no leaks. However, the house was left messy, the washer was put back incorrectly, and patching was extremely horrible. I did bring the the patching issue when they guys came back the next day so they can fix it. Since I had to go somewhere, i left the house before I can check it and when I came back they didn't even fix the patching issues that I had addressed. Again, avoid them at all cost!!! read more

I hired Ameriserve to re pipe my home Jan 19, 2015 They completed the job and were paid in full. I have had 2 leaks since Ameriserve sent some one out promptly for the first leak. The worker told me whoever worked on that area did not do it properly. He fixed the leak and told me to call back in a few weeks after it dried out and they would return to patch the hole in the ceiling. I called to have them come take care of the patch and the said it was not their leak and they refused to come back out. Bob Park the gentleman who came out when I hired them has never once returned my calls I have left him dozens of messages. The second leak was in my closet on Dec 3rd I came home to water pouring out of the ceiling all over my clothes. I called Ameriserve once again spoke to Stacy and Anna they have yet to call me back to take care of the issue. The contract was signed with them on Jan 19,2015 Deposit amount was $600.00 The final payment made on my Credit card for $5,375 was on Jan 22, 2015 . I have had to file a claim with my insurance Company due to the fact that Ameriserve won't return my calls or send anyone out to address the leak and damage issues. They do NOT stand by their workmanship or their warranty. Bob Park is a sweet talker and he will hand you lots of recommendation letters from satisfied customers don't be fooled!!!! read more

Very bad experience. First time I used them for a copper repipe all was good. More recently I have moisture under my house and foundation issues. Four foundation companies have bid the work to support the house. One noticed a copper pipe that was all discolored. I called Ameriserve to check that out and I wanted to order a sewer scope. Customer service/scheduling was difficult. It finally happened and the guy determined the copper pipe wasn't leaking, it was an older pipe above it. then he scoped the sewer line opening up the pipe and left it open. A week later I had a foundation guy return to take a second look and he immediately drew my attention to the open pipe. There was poop water. Very unsafe. I emailed Ameriserve with a photo. Heard nothing. I called and was told the owner would be notified (and I assumed in touch). The next day the receptionist emailed me saying it was clear to her from the photos that the pipe was open before and she lied saying the reason I called them was the open sewer. The foundation teams had photos that prove this was not the case. Not reputable. Not helpful, I could never get past that surly receptionist and would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I had a slab leak discovered from the master bedroom floors. After leak detection, the plumber told me that re-piping would be the best solution. He gave me 2 names to call with high recommendation on another name. It turned out that Bob from Ameriserve was by far a lot more helpful. He's knowledgable, showing samples of the PEX pipes and explaining how the work would be done. More than anything else, he arranged the work to start right on the next day (when the competitor was telling me to wait till next week). Lorenzo, the foreman, came with only one helper. But the two of them worked amazingly fast, efficient and clean. Most of the work were done on the first day on my 3 bed, 2 bath house and I was back to almost normal water supply that evening (main switch was off most of the times during leakage). Everything else got finished on the second day. Lorenzo even replaced 2 old faucets for me (parts on my own) and repaired the hose pipes in the backyard. Wall patching person, Abel, came on the third day and did a marvelous job. By the middle of the 3rd day all work were done perfectly. They all left at about 3 pm with a clean and normal house with regular water supply. My husband and I are very satisfied with their professionalism. read more

Ameriserve is a terrible business. Mr Park has the sales expertise needed to trick you into a ton of money for shoddy work and a terrible warranty. I've recently reported their actions to the BBB and strongly recommend that anyone else with issues towards Amerserve also contact the BBB. I've also notified KFI about them and am waiting resolution. Here's my complaint to the BBB: (names are omitted) COMPLAINT ACTIVITY REPORT Case # 20024786 Los Angeles BBB Consumer's Original Complaint : Ameriserve Repiping does not honor their lifetime warranty. We've had nothing but problems since our repipe in April, 2013. They tried giving us used parts(supply lines in bathroom), they did not want to dispose of our old pipes - they were going to leave them under the house, they asked about leaving the old water heater, they did not originally install the copper pipe as they told us they would - some line were not insulated or strapped in place(as the contract implies), they did a substandard job of reconnecting our old PVC with their new PVC (in fact, the Ameriserve plumber didn't even bring his own glue, he asked my 13 year old son if he could use mine). They used a temporary connector under the house, a "repair coupling". That resulted in a water main blowout that flooded underneath our home. They DID come out to repair that but we were later told via email that they should've charged us for their own mistake. Yesterday we had another water main leak, at a main going from the garage to the house. It was caused by the Ameriserve installer over tightening an old fitting onto an existing old fitting which caused a crack in the old fitting. The owner, [owner] told me to fix it myself because it's an existing fitting, without acknowledging that the crack was caused by his plumber. He also told me through email correspondence that I can't call them anymore which apparently voids my lifetime warranty. It seems like [owner] is a very dishonest man that is only out to get money and doesn't care that on the hottest day of the year so far, my family of 2 adults, 2 kids & 9 animals had no water. "Can't you fix it yourself?", he said. We are extremely unhappy with the lack of quality in workmanship, materials, cost and customer service that Ameriserve gave us. We'd like a partial refund but, as I said, can't call them anymore... My 6 unit apartment bldg in WLA needed a repipe. After getting some estimates I decided to go with Ameriserve and to my delight an efficient, clean, and to the plan job was done. Because I have tenants involved I did not want any inconvenience for them. The job ran smoothly and was completed a bit ahead of schedule. There were a few odds and ends of things to do post job completion and the guys were back out immediately to take care of these items. I'm happy with their workers and glad I did the job. WOW! they were so fast and easy! They repiped our entire house in one day. They were on time, neat, courteous and 2000 dollars cheaper than the other bids we got. Man did we score hiring Ameriserve! Called several companies for quotes. Bob Park gave us a reasonable quote but was not pushy. He followed up a couple of days later allowing us time to check out the company. I worried about people tramping through my house and making a mess. Carlos and his crew were absolutely wonderful. They laid down runners, cleaned up after themselves and did not interrupt my workday as I work from home - and were done in only 2 days! My water pressure is back and I have hot water in all faucets again. We couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Ameriserve and my thanks to Carlos for all his hard work and for answering my many questions - even after the job was finished. read more

I was so impressed with their quality, clean-up & patch work. They went through my kitchen cupboards & bedroom closets, rather than cutting through my ceilings or walls. The patch work is paint ready & most of the holes are so small that I can paint over them myself. I got 3 bids and they were the best price. read more

in feb 2014 ameriserve did a great job on copper repiping for our 1932 spanish style home, including rerouting some of the pipes. in nov 2016, almost 3 years later, one 2-3" piece of galvanized that was overlooked started rusting. i called bob park and he agreed to remedy the problem. jessie came out and did a great job, including complete replastering. i really appreciate the lifetime warranty ameriserve offers read more

After my fourth pin hole leak I contacted Ameriserve Repiping as an alternative to fixing yet another pin hole leak. I spoke to Bob Park mid week prior to Easter Sunday. I explained to Bob that if he meets with me ASAP and could have his crew available ASAP I would consider repiping versus doing another pipe repair. Bob came out the next day and said that his crew could start Saturday (the day prior to Easter Sunday (Are you kidding me???!!! I've never had a plumber go out of his way for anything unless there are hundreds of dollars of extra fees involve. Bob didn't charge me extra fees to have his guys come out on short notice and on a holiday weekend ). This was welcomed timing since we had to turn off the water to the house to prevent excess water damage due to the leak. I did have the chance to get a second quote from another repiping company. Ameriserve's price handily beat the other competitor (and by the way, the competitor was not willing to work on the holiday weekend). I chose to go with Ameriserve's repiping service rather than do another pipe repair and risk yet another pinhole leak and the damage that would probably ensue (our neighborhood gets lots of pinhole leakes for some reason). Jesse was the foreman that was sent out to my home along with several other helpers. If I could give out stars to an employee, I would give 10 stars out of 5 to Jesse. This guy was unbelievable. I think Ameriserve had better count it's lucky stars that he is an employee for them. He is the consummate professional and I can't say enough about him. He went above and beyond the call of duty in multiple situations while at the same time working tirelessly until the job was done, but probably the biggest plus (if I could pinpoint just one) is that he made such good decisions as to how he intended on routing the new plumbing through the house while at the same time strategically doing the least amount of damage to our walls. In one case, he took an ingenious path to repipe our wash room piping in order to preserve our wallpaper. The path that he chose was more work on his part and actually caused him to make an additional trip to the house. But, he chose to do this to preserve our wallpaper. When we got our initial quote from the competitor, he told us that there was no way we could save the wallpaper in the washroom. I ended up going with PEX piping due to the cost savings. I can't speak specifically for the plumbing that was done (or how long it will last) since I'm not a plumber. But I can attest to the fact that the job was done quickly, professionally, and at a great price. By the way, if I could clone Jesse I would go into business for myself. He's a winner! I should also mention that Ameriserve patched all the holes that they made on the exterior and interior of the home. The did a very nice job patching and you can't even tell that the walls were cut open. read more
